A Clem in War, Will Not Survive

And it would be true. The protagonist in this series only faces antagonist that don't lead to massive firefights or extra hostile situations that could be avoided. Because of the lack of gunfights and extra malice villains that aren't in the series, Clem would be ill-prepared for War. Governor, Saviors, even the terminus group would pose enough of a threat to overthrow any of Clem's groups,

Compared the comics villians, these telltale villains are jokes. I hope Clem have a evacuation plan for the Howe's ending. Or learns Ben's favorite sport: Track and Field

  • To be fair, I don't think there are very many groups that could survive what Rick and company have survived. They've been through some horrible shit, but its honed them in a way that no one else can compete with. Rick's group is basically what Carver wishes his group was.

But I agree.... neither one of Clem's groups (motel, cabin) would survive an all out war with a well armed group. I think the motel group would've had the potential to get there if things hadn't gone so sideways for them. They handled themselves well against the Save-Lots bandits considering their disadvantage. Cabin group was just a posse of inept dumbasses that never should've lasted as long as they did.

  • Probably true. Though the problem has less to do with Clem and Moreno the company she keeps.

By the end of Season 2, Clementine is sneaky, good with a gun and largely numb to discomfort and grief. She'd make an excellent scout or guerrilla. The rest of the characters though? Yeah, not so much...

  • I think Carl did something like that in the comics. He hides in a loading van with a ak, then when the enemy open the van he kills six of them. but I don't think clem can do something like that.

  • someone mentions that Clem is sneaky. I can imagine a scene that Clem sneaks up on the enemy's tent and poke each of them with a walker gut infected bobbypen/ thumbtack while they sleep. And the camp wakes up with several of their crew members turned in walkers or have the flu the next morning.

  • the motel group could've survived if they didnt have that shit bird ben. fuck ben

  • I agree that their villains in The Walking Dead are lacking. I've been wanting to see a big war in the game and I was hoping that's what would happen in season 2. Carver has his loyal followers and then there are people that want to get rid of him. The group rallies their own small army and faces off against Carvers army. That would have made for an interesting plot but sadly they killed Carver off too quickly. The group still could've escaped from Howes and had Carver replace the Russian group. It was expected that their wouldn't be a big human threat in season 1 considering it's the beginning of the apocalypse but now being almost 3 years in humans should be the only fear. Keep in mind I don't hate season 2 I just think things could have been a lot more intense and interesting had they kept Carver alive.
