changing controls?

so i've bought "tales from the borderlands" for my macbook and (almost) everything is fine but my keyboard is in the European style (azerty) and the game is bound to another one so i have to place my fingers very weirdly to walk and stuff which is quite inconvenient to play smoothly. And I don't seem to be able to change the controls, i don't know whether they can't be changed, or there is something wrong. Finally if they aren't able to be changed does anyone know a way to change them anyway, like modding or whatever? thanks in advance.

I'm sure there are ways but Tellale mods/staff don't like talking about modding on the official forums so sorry m8

I agree it would have been better. However there is an alternative, but you have to log off to change your keys for the game, then put them back to normal and log off again.

They may have hard coded the keys during development rather than use variables. So it could require a considerable amount of work to change that and offer/alter a menu so that you could change your controls.
