Outside the US's Walking Dead....

Like all of you, I love the franchise (or the games at least) but sometimes is gnawing on me...getit? I did a thing? Gnawing like a zombi-NEVER MIND.
So in episode 4 of season 1 in the class room we can click on the world globe there with Lee commenting "I wonder what's happening in the rest of the world right now".
In the TV show the CDC guy mentions that the French were close on finding a cure before their time ran out. So we know this thing is global.
My question is however, what other news do we know officially about the Walking Dead's Earth outside of the US?
I know most of the fanbase is American but some love to Europe or Australlia or whatever would be kinda hype!
That being said, I did like how Katjaa was of Belgian descent, since i'm Belgian

I'm joking XD... I'd love to know what happens outside the US (I'm from Italy so I'm curious too)... Maybe in Paris, Rome, London, Beijing, Sydney... I think Telltale could do a spinoff of it instead of Michonne, just my opinion
The fact that there is still the other continent to explore, it leaves the hope spot that humanity isn't screwed. Maybe other people are handling the outbreak better.
Michonne is on a large ship on the ocean in the DLC. She'll most probably be exploring new environments other than the generic "woods" and "cold snowy places" we've seen so far in the game. Her machete suggests she could be using it to cut through jungle underbrush, which is what most machetes are actually used for. She could even go to Mexico/countries of South America/some Caribbean islands, since a large ship like that has the capability to travel such long distances. If they wanted to, I bet they could figure out how to sail to Europe too.
