He'd gotten out of Savannah, prevented Omid's death, killed the dog, joined Luke's group, found Kenny, killed Carver (most probably in episode 2), headed north, killed Arvo's group without Luke getting shot (thus he survives the frozen lake), stopped Mike and Bonnie from shooting Clem, stopped Jane and Kenny and thus had a big group like Rick's until a crazy "Governor" crashes the party. Being rejected at Wellington, they would've found somewhere else (probably Carver's camp after the walkers left. It would've gotten overrun even if Clementine was not there because the herd would'nt had just kept wandering around the camp. So Lee's group is safe at Carver's camp. If he lived then he'd get out Savannah, prevent Omid's death, avoid the bandit encounter, and maybe have a 50/50 chance of meeting Luke's group or the camp with the dog.
I can just imagine what would have happened in the bathroom with Michelle had Lee lived. Even if he didn't enter the bathroom the same time that Clementine did, he would not have just stood there and wait for the door to bang shut. He could have tackled her, taken the gun, and probably talked her down. Omid wouldn't have died. Maybe the bandit thing wouldn't have happened in the woods, but if it had, Lee and Clementine would have tried to find whoever they were separated from for the rest of the story. They might have stumbled across the cabin group. If they had, he probably would have tried to convince Carlos to teach Sarah what she needs to know to survive. It might have actually worked.
And if Arvo had still shot Clementine in this "what if" AU thing... Yeesh. You can bet that what happens to him would not be pretty.
