I'm pretty sure not too many people have a Wii U here, but to those who do...There you go.

  • Awesome news. I always thought it was kind of weird that Telltale would bring The Walking Dead to every platform possible (even Ouya) except Nintendo. The GamePad with its touchscreen is perfect to play adventure games on. Maybe this announcement is due to Wii U hitting 10+ million sales recently, which is a decent install base, even though the sales are still disappointing (Wii sold more than 100 million units). Don't underestimate the Wii U: It's by far my favourite system this generation with excellent titles: Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros., Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, Yoshi's Wooly World, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Wind Waker HD and the upcoming new Zelda. PC/Mac plus Wii U is a great combination for third-party games and first-party Nintendo games.

  • I always thought Telltale's games could work well with a Wii, so this is good news I guess. I won't 100% believe it until its directly confirmed from Telltale though

  • Cool but...

  • Wonder how that'll turn out...

  • There's also the new Star Fox.

I saw the GIF for this and it's actually pretty funny. Wii is crossing the street and a PC bus plows through the Xbox One and PS4 cars while Steam is walking on the sidewalk.

  • Not on my screen.

    Is the gif not working?

  • Please be true. I wanna double dip.

  • Well that would be pretty cool if it does and maybe some other TT titles as well. Let everyone enjoy these great games.

  • Telltale would have made Walking Dead long ago if it came out for GameCube and PS2 and Xbox

Fuck! I did not mean to post that image Sorry!

Telltale's been around long enough that they actually do have a game on the PlayStation 2. :P

  • Yeah that's why Walking Dead should have started there. Imagine if every season was 3-4 years, as in development, choices, character death outcomes, stuff like that so the whole season can be done instead of every 2 months.

Telltale was still making episodic games back then. The PS2 port would've still came out after the season had been finished on PC like the physical copies now for PS4/XB1/PS3/360

Yeah, Telltale's business model has always been episodic. Even with the games that were released in one package (like the CSI games or most of the releases of Jurassic Park: The Game), the game was still released with individual episodes instead of one continuous game. Plus, these releases didn't get the bonus that comes with continual development over a season, and that's making changes as the season goes on based on fan and critic feedback. That's one of the reasons why these games are arguably the weakest of Telltale's lineup.

  • I'd love to play it, but since the PS3 version has trophies and I already finished both season on that, I'll stick with that. Sorry, Nintendo, you're too late.

  • I also wanted this on Wii U but since I finished Season 1 on my OUYA and I'm almost done with S2 on the same device, I can't imagine myself starting all over.

  • ?? I think if anyone hasn't played it by now, they're aren't interested. I don't understand this thread.

  • Just telling people it's happening. I don't even have a Wii U.

  • I guess.

I mean if you haven't played it by now, you probably aren't interested. Its on pretty much every system known to man now, from consoles, to PC, to phone, to handled devices... I want to get a copy on Sega Genesis, blast processing makes it run better than the PS3 version i'm sure.
