Was anyone else annoyed with the constant sound of the wind? I know it's important for the story, but after three hours of playtime I just had to go to the sound options and turn the sound effects all the way down. It was really starting to give me a headache. I haven't seen anyone else mention this. Was I the only one who thought it was too loud and insistent?
Aside from this, I absolutely loved the game btw. Money very well spent!

Now you mention it I do remember.
Nope, I think it gave us the flavor of the island pretty well
But I did think it was odd that the wind seemed to have the same symptoms over the island even once it had changed :P
Nitpicking really.
no, really, I really enjoyed it, it was fun and the ambiance was good, there were a few issues, but all in all fun (too short :P ) but fun...
_but_ , one thing I have to mention, I spent some time in the jungle on the idols being a dumb ass (kept looking at the dang wind vane, instead of using on idol)...
the annoying flute, with like 3 notes, played over and over, first time I ever turned off the music, if there were just a few more notes in the loop...
the rest of the music was great...

I never had a problem with the game itself. In fact, the wind (and the objects blowing around) added to the overall atmosphere of Flotsam Island.
Aye, I missed a couple of lines there cause I couldn't make out what he was saying over the noise of the wind.
But the wind sound and the things moving, it really helps move the game away from the "this is a empty stage" which Sam & Max suffered from, Overall Monkey island really felt more alive and atmospheric.
It would be great if Telltale would make a system that automatically quieted sounds and music when your engaged in dialog.
And how when people talk.. you could hear them
And how Lechuck can talk
Silly voices!
I did that for a while and it actually worked for the first one, but after a short time I clued up.
