I ship them, and this thread, with a wood-chipper.

  • Just when I thought It couldn't get worse than the Luke/Clementine threads.

  • Oh my god....

  • Someone needs to NUKE this thread.

  • Agreed.

Someone needs to NUKE this thread.

  • Well... I think this is a lower caliber than Luke and Clementine, so I wouldn't say it is any "worse." I doubt Luke likes Nick (or vice versa) but it would be a little more plausible, and less sick then Clementine and Luke. Hey, at least there is no gay sex in the video :p

  • Well, KENNY ships them.

    So, there.

The Kenny has spoken out of experience with his Bromance with Lee.

  • I thought she was talking about a nuclear bomb, then I clicked on the thread itself...

Yeah I loved Matthew and Walter :P But Nick/Luke makes no sense they are like brothers this is just random stuff people come up with when they run out of predictions for the game.

  • Definitely , Im dying to see what people are gonna do when they run out of characters they can pair with each other :P

  • Well that happened already , I remember there was a Troll not to long ago that said you liked someone else here I don't know something stupid like that

The only room in the "Next time on TWD" preview that has a drawer and a wardrobe in it is the room with Nick's watch. Therefore, Luke's room = Nick's room.

    I am so sorry...

    Therefore, Luke's room = Nick's room.

Not necessarily. Maybe Nick just left his watch in Luke's room.

You know. After all the gay sex they had.

EDIT: Also, I am shocked that Nick/Luke shippers went with "Nuke" as their couple name portmanteau over the FAR more provocative "Lick."

Even though I'm incredibly proud of what Telltale did with exploring other areas of relationships with Matthew and Walter, I feel like turning Nick and Luke's into a romantic one solely on the basis of their great and interesting friendship is a bad idea. In my opinion, "shipping" characters are mostly done for the sake of wanting something other than platonic subplots, which is seen in abundance on Tumblr. Take for example my best friend and I; we have incredible chemistry and get along most of the time, regardless of our differences. But the thing is, is that's all it is. Friendship. Why is that not good enough? You can be close to someone without having anything sexual to do with it.

Please don't let this turn into Clementine/Luke all over again.

[EDIT: Although I'm not comparing that pairing to "Nuke" in the sense where some people will probably assume I am. Pedophilia is wrong, plain and simple. While homosexuality is as natural and right as heterosexuality, and should be more readily embraced in all cultures. Hence why I said above that I'm proud of Telltale introducing Walter and Matthew's affection for each other. Especially in such a respectful way, which is quite rare in our media. I'm only trying to point out that platonic relationships, fictional or real, shouldn't be stomped on by romantic ones so often. They matter too, you know.]

Basically what I'm trying to convey is to focus more on the story itself, and wait for more solid evidence before jumping into "shipping". It was just a hug between two people where one was trying to console the other due to losing someone that they cared for. And even if there is romantic undertones in their friendship, there was definitely nothing romantic about that. Pete, Nick's beloved uncle, just died.

We don't even know all that much about them, so I don't see why some viewers or players would be so inclined to change their dynamic. And don't forget that these are the developer's characters, not ours, so our say doesn't matter all that much in the end anyways.

With that being said, in my eyes, Kenny was just teasing them. But each to their own I guess...

    I support GHOUSTTTT with MayieChii.

Here is my proof: GHOUSTTTT saw this post by MayieChii, because he has been following his/her profile for so long. He saw that it was a Nuke post. A perfect opportunity to get the attention of MayieChii. In a attempt to get MayieChii's attention, he posted a comment saying that "Ain't nothing wrong with a little gay sex :D" And a little smiley picture. Showing he supports Nuke so he can get the attention.

    I'm just joking. xD

  • ....I ship it. Hey, it's the only shipping I've seen in TWDG that actually makes sense and hasn't already happened. I mean, fuck's sake people, there are people who ship Russell and Nate! There are even fan fics of that!! XP

  • These ships are getting more and more ridiculous every day.

If anyone actually believes that a simple hug between good friends results in sexual desires towards eachother then they really need to get their heads examined.

  • Oh god make it stop.

  • Between Matthew & Walter, and Luke & Nick, I think we've had enough implied male/male romances. It's time for lesbians to get some love. How about a fling between Lily and Shel at Carver's camp? :p
