Who's that ONE character?

  • Wait we can't say Clem? But she is my favorite character in every form of media I've seen. She made me care about her with her childlike innocence in the first season. She helped me keep my morals, and she helped Lee make good decisions for the good of the group and, more importantly, her. When she saw her parents and had to say goodbye to Lee within the same 10 minutes… I just couldn't take it. That girl had gone through enough to get the tears rolling manly sniffles. For every game/book/tv series/movie I've seen, the Clementine from season one has got to take the award for the character i most cared about. Again, whenever Clementine feels pain, i felt it. Whenever she was cheery or optimistic, i felt optimistic. When she was moved to tears to say goodbye forever to Lee coughs to hide tears I… I might have felt sniff a… a little sadness.

But if she isn't a choice, then she isn't a choice. I would have to say that Lee was my favorite character then, because we see (and shape) most, if not all of Lee's personality. At first he is scared and confused because a bunch of decaying dead people are walking around (and be honest, who wouldn't be). Then we see him realizing that things aren't right and he has to take caution by looking carefully in Clem's house. Then we meet Clementine and Lee shows his real softness. Hey, he may have killed a guy, but that doesn't make him an instant hardened and scary criminal. Throughout the rest of the series we see several examples of good characteristics of loyalty, honesty, and respect (if you made the "moral" choices). If Lee is the type of guy that he was when I played as him, then he is by far my favorite character in this game.

One word. Kenny. Need I say more?

  • Welcome to the forums. Threads are just around the corner and fun will be coming soon

Probably, if I stick to the forum. You are in every thread ur like a legend to me. Respect man.

  • I think Kenny, because if I was in a zombie apocalypse thing, I would agree with him in most of decitions. In my first gameplay (When I didn't know what is going to happen) everytime Kenny said "Let's do this" I agree with him, because it's exactly what I would do in a situation like that.

And, for me, Kenny is the most complete character from TWD. He starts as a redneck guy, simply minded and just fighting for his family. But when the game advances, you found that he is the only character that tells you "Men, I know this is going to be hard, but we HAVE to do this to survive". If you think that way, he's a natural leader. And he went through A LOT of things... And a lot of mental states... Angry... Depressed... Heroic... etc.

Kenny is the most well developed character in my opinion, and the things he did are the things that I would do in a similar situation. So he's THE GUY.
And his friend-bro relationship with Lee is great!.

When I first met Kenny I left my moustaches grow.

    Now, I'm a bearded man ;)

  • I feel a connection with Nick but not seeing positive sings towards him surviving :S

But I would say first of all Christa, then Nick, then Luke, then Kenny from the charatcher in season 2

  • I think 'railroad man' could have been in reference to Clem's actual father, Ed. He was an engineer and it's not out of the realm of possibility that he worked with trains. Or it could even be referencing Lee, and how one of the most important bonding moments between him and Clem was teaching her to shoot and cutting her hair on the train.

    Flog61 posted: »

Hmm, also she says he was a 'railroad man' and we have a big fight scene with Luke on the railway bridge!

  • From season one Lee (and Clem obviously) were my overall favorites hands down.
From season two I would have to say Luke. Kenny was more or less Lee's friend and he was hot headed if you didn't side with him. Don't get me wrong I love Kenny but I just really like Luke even though I was skeptical of him at first.

  • For some reason I really, really like Nick. Don't know why, something about him makes me like him a lot. (No homo).

  • You're not alone my friend ;D

  • I'm really hoping Luke won't die. He's my favourite out of the new characters and he has a very good relationship with Clementine. But judging from S1 and another character the PC had a good relationship with...it's unlikely he'll survive.

  • I really liked Doug, I don't know anything about the comics so I don't know if telltale created him or not. Why?: because Doug, as a character showed that even thou you not good with weapons, or able to kill a person/zombie you can still think of ways to out-smart a zombie. when I think of zombie apocalypse I think of badass people with knifes and guns taking down everything in their path, plus people are push to the edge and are force to turn on each. I don't think of a nerd with a remote/ alarm bells - that's awesome other skills are useful too. That's why I like Doug and why I can relate with him.

    You are right but...

As a human being I can understand Bonnie's decision to not have herself be alone and vulnerable. Hell just look at what happened to Christa's brilliant plan of 'No Groups.'

Regardless of your gender, bad people will do fucked up things to you if they can find you alone, as a man and a human being I understand why Bonnie is forced to be in Carver's group for safety.

And that's why most people are with Carver I'm guessing, safety from the terrors of the world, Carver probably actually takes care of the people that are loyal to him.

  • Hell just look at what happened to Christa's brilliant plan of 'No Groups.'

She...survived for over 16 months while also keeping a little girl alive? If there's one thing Christa's showed us, it's that she + one other person = kickass survival duo.

I know she did.But i think everyone cares about her in that way, everyone who's not a soulless monster,so i figured that almost all the cmments would say Clem, therefore i thought i should cross her, just this time, off this list.

But i feel you.I do.She made me care for her more than any other character EVER,which says something, since i'm a fangirl participating in many different fandoms.I LOVE Clem. And even though some people may only think of her as a fictional character,my love for her is very real.

  • I know,i love Kenny. He is technically an inspiration. He's lost EVERYTHING.He had no reason to keep going. But he did,and he survived, and he's lead everybody as best as he could.I love him,i hope he survives still.

  • Oh,i hope Christa comes back...I think she loves Clem like a daughter, and that's something special i wouldn't like the game to lose.

  • Luke is really normal. He reminds everyone of how things used to be before. He seems laid-back,and nice, and funny, and cares about everyone.I think he'll come back,it would just seem cheap if Telltale killed him off like that.

  • Yeah,me too.I think everyone's starting to like Nick in a way. :3

  • I like to think Christa thinks of Clem like a daughter. That's one bond i wouldn't like to be taken away.

For me it has to be Christa (if she's not dead). Because she took care of Clem for 16 months. And when Omid died she could have killed herself but she didn't, instead she helped Clem survive for 16 months. That's why I don't want her to die.

  • I agree he was very kind natured. and when as far as pulling ben out from the gun shot. most characters in a apocalypse times are un-relatable. who ever created his character deserves a lot of praise.

Luke! I was so terrified he was gonna get bit on the bridge part :o I don't know why I like him so much? Is it because Scott Porter provides his lovely voice? Or is it his dreamy eyes? Lol jk jk xD I guess because he's kind of the only one who attached himself to Clem and he's so dang nice <3 Hope he doesn't turn out to be a villain. * Evil Luke laugh *

  • no it doesn't, I've stated above to why I like Doug. I am just saying that in the 1st series characters go, they could have giving any character dying by saving another person. but they give it Doug and Carly first.

A person should never be rated because of he/her die as a hero. no one moment defines a person. what a person thinks of themselves and what choices they make defines them.
