  • I was like dafuq what am i gonna do with a Little Kid i wanna kill zombies

But then After every episode i loved her more :)

  • That she would eventually be someone very special to Lee and an integral part of the game.

"Well, shit. Another damn escort mission and with an annoying kid, let's see how this goes."

I have never been so wrong in my life.

For my. I take care of you. You are cute... I dont think I will love you.
Later... Dont you FU%#$@G touch her!

  • Wont clem slow lee down? But then after a while i was like if clem dies im storming over to telltale.

"Well, shit. Another damn escort mission and with an annoying kid, let's see how this goes." I have never been so wrong in my life.

  • My intentional thought was that this young girl is going to help me and look cute while doing it with that hat and dress. Little did I know that I got attached really quickly and never wanted anything bad happened to her and keep her safe

    My thoughts:

    1. She cool.
    2. She really cool
    3. She so AWESOME!
    4. I LOVE YOU CLEMY!!!
    5. Top 5 all-time favourite characters
    6. BEST LITTLE GIRL CHARACTER EVERRR!!! <3
  • I was mostly indifferent. I was a bit surprised that she wasn't loud and obnoxious at all, which is usually what makes me hate child characters.

I liked her from the start but remember thinking "i hope she isn't too annoying" but i quickly learnt that she was a great character and started to get really protective of her, most of my decisions where for her well-being.

Playing start like here go another game with just shock value and meaningless story. Then saw clem smiled hello little girl everything was so intense at that point so weird seeing someone saw innocent and defenceless. Definitely said to myself from this point no matter moral choice i make or anything have to do keep her safe and happy

  • 1st episode I thought she was gonna be a spoiled brat who I'd hate, but by episode 2 she was by far my favorite.

  • I got into the game later than a lot of people, which meant the praise for Clementine was already well-documented. I was curious to see if her character really lived up to the hype.

    Easily exceeded it.

  • "Oh hey a kid! An adorably precocious little kid. To whom I'm growing increasingly attached. In a sad game about the zombie apocalypse.

....Oh God, this isn't going to end well for her is it?"

So things have actually gone better for her than I expected at first.

  • Cute little girl, It would be a shame if no one cared about her.... I was so wrong I've never cared so much for a video game character.

  • Do I have to take care of her from now on ? Jesus

  • "Well, she's already proven herself to be more useful than the majority of child characters in video games."

There was some good dialogue right off the bat though. Little touches like having her mirror Lee's "How old are you?"

  • "You know... without me, you'd probably be dead..."
    1 hour later
"Without you, I'd probably be dead by now...". Clementine made the game.

  • I was like:

    AWWWWWWWW

    And the rest is history.

  • Really at first I was indifferent. I'm ashamed to say it but the thing that stood out to me was the fact that she was wearing a dress and baseball cap. All during episode 1 I was like "Oh no I can't let her get hurt it wouldn't be right.". By episode 2 I was willing to murder anyone for talking or looking at her wrong. I eased into liking Clem then shot straight up to adoring her. All through episode 1 she made me like her more and more. I liked how she asked Lee if he was a bad man. Some things she did that were so like kids. I'm grateful for having her around. If she hadn't been in the game it would be a lot less emotional and my Lee would be a little more dark.

  • My Lee would have either been dead, or Nate, if not for Clem. Long Live Clementine!

  • I noticed right away she was a lot more mature than most children her age, so I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. Like several others here who have commented, I was indifferent at first, but felt I needed to keep her safe.

Come episode 2, and the only thing that stopped me from driving the pitchfork into Danny's gut was the (very accurate) fear Clementine might see me do it. Was I not suppose to protect her from things like that? She's the main reason I am such a huge Walking Dead fan today.

  • You've been by yourself through all this?

  • You mean better for us :p

  • I was relieved she was alive, listening to the phone messages, I figured it was the tragic tale of a dead family. Then she saved my life, so we bonded pretty quickly. By the time we got to the drugstore, I had already reached determined guardian status.

  • xD not so cute but really badass

  • I barely had time to talk to her when I was attacked by a walker & she saved me by bringing me a hammer, so... You could say we bonded pretty fast.

  • More or less: "Thank you for saving my ass, how can I repay you?"

  • Well the first thing I remember from Clem is the voice over the walkie, "You need to be quiet." So I'm like okay, and I just keep quiet. And she's like "Are you still there?" Or something, and I'm like WTF I'M BEING QUIET! SHHHH!

I thought to myself "Wow, an escort game.. how fun -.- I would be so glad to get rid of her." Boy, did I take my words back. I care more about Clem than I do for any other character that has existed on any video game, movie, cartoon, or television show. I am even thinking about naming my daughter Clementine if I ever have one and giving her a white and blue cap just like Clem's.

  • I went into this game assuming that I was going to hate her character (because I naturally just hate kids) but Telltale proved me wrong and made her my favorite video game character of all time. Don't know whether I should be pissed or amazed at Telltale haha

I instantly got attached to her and knew that I wouldn't ever let anyone harm her.

I seem to have always had this mentality of always doing my best to help out the female characters. It's weird.

For example; on The Wolf Among Us, I see Faith getting slapped by Woody and I just instantly wanted to hurt him. It's the same with protecting Clem too.

I love her as if she were my own.
