If by some miracle they release on the 1st, I'll flip. I seriously doubt it, though. As I previously said, they can no longer give themselves the luxury of not advertising their episodes at least one week before, and they have just recently started, so yeah, the eighth it is. Probably.

I'd rather have the harsh truth than sit in the dark. Also if the game is done I would like to see it released on PC as soon as its ready, if people want to play it on iPad or xbox or ps3 then they can wait longer. It could be that they get more buys if they market and release it more or less on the same time I guess.

Just wanted to leave a quick comment about Telltale and the lack of news surrounding release dates. Not that it addresses keep… moreing us informed of development etc.
But I digress . . .
Anyway, we all know Telltale doesn't give release dates until they're certain because they need to wait for Microsoft, Sony etc. to approve their games. I understood this, but I didn't understand how finicky the app stores/sony etc. can be until a few days ago.
Firstly though, does anyone play the 'choice of' games for Android, iOS and Google Chrome? Basically interactive, text based stories. with stats. http://www.choiceofgames.com/ (Some can be played for free, and if you fancy it, you can have a go at designing a story/game yourself and they'll sell it for you).

There's mailing list timing to get right too, and I assume Telltale makes use of one. That said, I don't follow the android or ios versions, so I don't know how close their releases are to the other versions. It's how the other company I mentioned works though.
But there's not just sales to consider. If they release the Pc version now, as an example, and the other versions release a week or two after? People will likely be annoyed.
