Anyway " Should Clem remain a kid in Season 3? "

We don't even know if Clementine will still be alive in Season3 and/or if there even will be a Season3, so asking this quetion is kinda dumb.

Well i'd like to see her riding a unicorn in S3

  • Well of course they did it before but i want her riding it, and i want some rainbows too in s3!

    Age doesn't matter

  • I forgot that we're stuff in the comic's continuity. I would rather see Clementine grow up. I think it would be a bit too repetitive if she stayed the same age.

  • If there is a season 3, I think Clementine will be around 13 or 14. I can't see her being any older unless they do a Season 4, then maybe if they do a Season 4 She could be 15, 16, 17, 18, Ect.

  • I don't want them to do on huge jump were she goes from 11 to 20. I want like 3 jumps about 3 years each

  • Thats a really good question. It would kinda be sad watching her get older. Im not sure why.

  • I would like to see her as a teenager (early-mid teens though), but I don't think they'll show her as an adult.

  • Ha, Born the same year one month late....... Clems older than me.... lol Technical terms of course.

I think the game and the comics are up to the same point in time by Season 2. Also, with my short knowledge of the comics timeline, I can determine that Clem was born in February 1995.

I did, but Clementine is a much more captivating protagonist. Looking back on Season 1, it feels so dull when compared to Season 2. And it's only been like two freaking episodes!

  • I don't think they'll ever make Clementine past the age of 16. I think this because, first of all, that'd be a major gap and second of all, we all like seeing a bad ass little kid but if she were to turn into a bad ass woman, it'd just make it less bad ass. I'm not sure why but I honestly don't want to see Clementine as a woman.

  • Should there even be a season 3?

  • Clem would be 20 this year wouldn't she?

  • Kind of sad to think about, but with the insignificant amount of nourishment a child growing up in a zombie apocalypse gets, you have to wonder how well the growing into an adult thing would turn out for her anyway.

  • Her cheeks got chubbier than in season 1. To be honest I think Omid and Christa kept her well fed by hunting out in the woods. She also gets enough exercise.

  • I don't know if anyone's considered the possibility of another time-jump at some point this season... I mean, if the Episode 5 image is really Wellington, who can say how long it's taken them to get up there. I'm not exactly hoping for this outcome, just looking at it like a possibility.

  • That's interesting. This was posted in a thread related to this a while back, and I for one thought the opposite.

I don't want Clem to continue being the protagonist or even an NPC. Because in order to continue being in the game, she needs to keep going

  • I've been looking through the comics, and I could only find two winters. The one at the very beginning (Volume 2) and the one that starts in Volume 15. Apparently there is no indication of the third winter yet.
The game is now entering the third winter. The first was starting at the end of season 1. The second was inside the 16 Month timeskip, obviously.
So the game seems to be a few month ahead of the comic?

  • Oh I love how people here don't respect other peoples opinions, and when someone says something like "Cluke" it doesn't mean they should fuck it means that they should be like a team...

  • Yeah it would be cool to see her as an adult .

I thought we'd be fine if we survived the walkers. Never expected that they'd starve us out. - Lee

I dont think the zombies just "rot away" in that universe.

Most of the zombies would have rotted away by then, the only real threat would be people.

  • No she should become a dragon or a helicopter.

  • Yeah, I'd like to see an adult Clem. But I agree with vctm, maybe its a Wellington, and if that's it, there's no doubt that we will see a grown up Clementine.

  • Sorry you must be confused, every time Cluke is mentioned it has been in reference to them shipping, at least in my experience.

  • I totally agree with Cluke4life, there's a tons of different games where you can play as a young adult female, but game where you can be a eleven year old girl in walker apocalypse is only one.

  • Arrows, why not? It may be interesting to see how Clementine grows up. Now I'm not speaking about a big time jumps. Teenage Clementine, 13-15 years old.

  • They can't do another timeskip without Kirkman doing one in his comics. But you are right, I prefer playing as a little girl to playing as a woman.

  • haha you said badass like 5 times.

I seriously want to see Clem grow up 'cause I love her as a character and to see how she turns out. But, then, it would require another timeskip... I don't know, maybe it's worth it.

  • It just offers such a unique perspective on things playing a kid in the apocalypse. Where else do you get that? In 10 years of comic the story only progressed 2 to 3 years. Lets hop it stays that way, so Clem won't grow up that fast.

Big timeskips are a waste of opportunity for interesting stories. Although the one at the beginning of S2 was completely necessary. Once there is a timeskip in the game, we can't ever go back. In a game of choice and consequence it would be really weird to play the story out of order, save for small flashbacks maybe.
For me The Walking Dead (Game, TV and Show) works because we stay with the characters. We know what happened to them from the start for the apocalypse to where they are now. I'd like for the game to follow this path, too.

  • Ok, guys, I agree with you.

No, they are talking about a romantic relationship between Clem and Luke.

    I would think so, yes.
I believe that the 3rd season should start 1-3 months after the events in season 2 end.
That way the story stays more consistent.

In season 4, she should be shown in her early teen years.
In season 5, in her mid to late teen years.
And in season 6, as a young adult.

I just hope Kenny and Luke make it.
And I think the odds are very good that they will.
Not only are they both very tenacious men, but Kenny's a crack shot with a rifle, and Luke seems very good at hand to hand fighting.

Everyone says that it is inpossible to see clem older dan 14 or 16, but at the end of this season they can have the credits and then a short clip from Clem sitting on some stair outside, and smiling and being older. This way it won't be any problem because we don't know what happens around her, so it won't interfere with the comics, if Kirkman decides all the zombies suddenly died, then we can assume Clem is being happy because everything ended and she is allright, or if the walkers are still around, she could be happy because she is in a good community now, or something like that.

  • Na. End it on a good note before it starts getting dragged through the mud.

  • No there not.

  • We'll I'm 19 so i believe she would be too. Weird >_<

Clem would be 20 this year wouldn't she?

  • Hi you must be new here, because if you weren't new you would know that every time Cluke has been mentioned it has been in a romantic context. Putting two names together may normally mean they should team up, but on this forum their talking about a lot more then that.
