I agree. I would also have thought that "you're responsible for your weapon at all times" was kind of lesson 1 of firearms training. I didn't buy that Clem would be dumb enough to leave it lying there. It felt like another "Carley doesn't know how to use batteries" moment.
That whole sequence didn't seem right to me. I mean, even before the scavenger girl shows up the game tries to build suspense by making it see… morem like there is something hiding in one of the stalls. Logically, it doesn't make much sense that Clem would even be allowed to go into a desolate bathroom alone, but I'll give TT the benefit of the doubt and just assume that it was a mistake on Christa and Omid's part.
Exactly, except whereas the battery thing was actually cute and harmless, Clem leaving her gun on the counter ended up killing two people, including a character I was very fond of.

I know this is an old thread, but I've been replaying the whole thing.
And as some pointed out, this just seem really set up, an excuse, to kill off Omid.
First off: They're three. Then you leave atleast ONE outsiide to guard. Simple as that, no nothing "what are the chances of other people showing up", you do not take chances like that.
Clem leaving the gun is honestly another matter. That's definitely a mistake, and can be argued that it really is a mistake one would make, especially a little girl.
Sadly, it's just set up like this to kill off Omid, I think. And teach Clem a lesson of "mistakes get you or other people killed".
My school friend and I were talking about that and this is our conversation.
Me: I bet that the original idea was when Clem entered the toilet she heard. SAY MY NAME CHRISTA! OMID! OMID! Probably the girl who shot Omid never entered the toilet because she heard. YES OMID! YES!

Sex with a pregnant woman is dangerous. Risk of losing the baby. Maybe thats the reason she lost her baby?
bow chika wow wow!
Seriously that was the wrong time for them to do that!
Where did you read that? I've had 2 kids and in our ante-natal classes they positively encouraged us to keep at it.
Actually, that's not true.

Believe... Not true... Don't have to say why
As my cousin would say, "Make the babies."
To reach high peeks and scenic views.
But in all seriousness, I am SO glad Clem couldn't hear them. Thank. Fucking. God.
