  • And so, it begins...
  • I hope the wait is shorter like with Season 1.
  • I don't really know what to think. I heard about TWAU's Ep 4 classification, so maybe Amid The Ruins will come out slightly shorter than In Harm's Way?
  • God, I hope so and I hope they don't just skip to after the horde because I really want to pick up where it ended mid-horde with Sarita dealing with what just happened. Poor woman. Hell, poor everybody at this point.

  • I loved episode 3, but after seeing the preview for episode 4, I am not so excited.
I also believe these episodes need to get longer, that episode should of kept going. They ended it at the highest point of the episode. Was very disappointed to see the episode was over one hour and 30 minutes in.
  • Besides the baby finally arriving, it does seem low-key but I have a suspecion that it might be because they can't show some moments because it'll reveal too much and they want it to be a surprise. Seriously, their fanbase has a habit of guessing things from the smallest of clues, it's rather impressing.

  • Here we go again... We still love you telltale :)

I wonder if Nate will show up in EP4. Seems like the prime time for him to finally make an appearance, wonder what he's been up to. I sure hope the other 400 Days characters get more than just a cameo in the next episode, it was disappointing that we hardly got any interaction with them (besides Bonnie) as Clem.
  • we did it we made it too episode 3 know we gotta go to the road for episode 4

Road to Episode 4 Amid the ruins

btw anyone know when the achievements of episode 5 come out
  • I have a question for you.

Is Nick Breckon writing Ep 4? I heard he will write No Going Back, but I don't know about Amid The Ruins. I so loved his plot.
  • And now we're doing this again....
  • I'm going to TWAU's thread for now
  • Here we go again, so guys, lets talk 400 Pages over Telltale Nice Work.
Im here at the begin and end it with you guys, this was a shooooooort episode, hope the next will be 3 or 4 hours... --
  • A House Divided had similiar length, but...after the credits, it felt like you spent more on that, really. Maybe it's just the better atmosphere.

I don't know, I guess this episode was cool, but TTG definitely had some better ones

  • I totally agree with you. The episode was good, but everything was going so fast, it seemed so short compare to the second one.. Especially since there's not that much interaction or gameplay phases.

Anyway, looks more like an episode that will show you what's gonna happen and gives you a hint about where it's going for the final! Just let's pray for episode 4 to come out sooner.

  • Glad this thread is going back to being stickied again. Easier to find. Annnnyway, the wait won't feel long to me now that I have TWAU to look forward too again in a month or so. :)

I think the wait will be shorter for 204 because the achievements have been out for 2 weeks.
  • well telltales got 4 months to finish Walking Dead to make sure they got time to release the other 2 new games. I hope they dont fill those 4 months tho
  • 2 month waiting arhg :D
  • Whelp, time to freeze myself in carbonite for the next 2 months.
  • Calling it:

Sarah's survival ability will depend on your relationship

Nick's death after being useless for a whole episode again

    Luke's true face

Jane teaching Clementine new surviving tricks (throwing bottles or stones to distract walkers probably)

Helping Kenny to bring out his dead eye

    Saritas death either way

Rebecca giving birth and then dying

    Black guy dies

Going to Wellington at the end with Kenny, Luke, Sarah and the baby

    Jane goes full loner
  • am i the only one that thinks mike looks alot like lee?
  • There's no news yet?!? Come on!
(Oh, I'm supposed to wait a month to say that? Very well.)
  • to all those in the future that are close to episode 4 and see this good job with the waiting hope you guys enjoy it
  • Oh episode 204... where ARRRR you?!

    ;)
  • #SOON
  • Just give the fuck up, it's not going to come "soon". We'll have to probably wait another 2-3 months, by tomorrow everyone will be bitching about the release date of episode 4.

I upvoted you for two reasons:

    1) No, you're not the only one because yes, he does, but just physically. No one will be ever like Lee. Never.
    2) I love your profile picture! Where did you find it?

  • Am I the only one thats been anticipating a possible showdown between Becca and Clementine?
Becca seems (to me) like she's pretty warped. Very cold. For example, she said some things in 400 days about killing Stephanie that set off a red flag. From that moment on I began to theorize that the settlement Tavia led people to was going to be bad guys (and that Bonnie would have an important role because she always goes) and that Becca would become a problem for Clementine.

If Shel and her are in Episode 3 she makes some pretty nasty remarks. She comes off as a bit of a ... er.. bitch to me, really. Combined with that and her attitude about killing people, makes me think she's an upcoming psychopath. I wouldn't be surprised if she would grow up to be another Carver, for example.

Maybe I'm looking too much into it, but I would like to see (and have an odd gut feeling of) a conflict between Becca and Clem and some sort of show down at some point.

Side note: I always found humor in the character Nate because that's my name. Troy is my fathers name. Seeing both characters as twisted assholes just made laugh a little in the back of my head.
  • episode 3 was fucking awesome but the problem is its small in duration over all amazing..i mean there are two remaining episodes ..episode 4 and episode 5 ..from episode 1 to episode 3 the game duration 4 hours and half..so they have to make episode 4 and 5 at least two hours to reach at destination of 8 hours ...lets hope
  • I didn't feel the episode was that short. It seemed longer to me, even though it was only an hour and a half. S1E5 seemed noticeably short to me, though.

A lot of story ground was covered in this episode. So I could see how it could come across as being short, but I don't mind the time myself.

  • I believe Sarita will live if the player decided to cut her infected hand. Why would Kenny act normal otherwise (in the scenes from the next episode kenny talks to Clem and others with a normal tone). Sarita is probably near them recovering from the loss of blood and shock.

And while I'm ranting random theories that come to my head, I thought about Episode 2 when you meet Kenny and seeing him be short tempered and bringing up Duck (now in E3 more than once).. and the conversation with Sarita about if he's "changed" made me think a couple of things.

1.) That Carver would be killed off in Episode 3 or Episode 4 to clear room for:
2.) Some things happen later to Kenny (Sarita's death? Seems likely at this point) to drive him further mad and make him full on snap (eventually). Maybe a dogpile of things to happen to further degrade his sanity. His actions start getting people killed and/or he becomes a liability or just flat out goes rampant and Clem has to put him down. That'd be pretty heartbreaking with all things considered with their past together.

SEASON 2 ALL EPISODES WAS SMALL ..IN SEASON 1 ALL EPISODES ARE LONG ..THE ONLY EPISODE THAT WAS SHORT IS EPISODE ...i note time because we have to compare after ending that which season is long ..if we see time then probably season 1 wins and if we see which season story is good and which one is realy awesome overall then season 2 wins ...

I understand why people want longer episodes. More value and more game to enjoy (between waits).

But I live by a code where I don't look at a games playtime. I look at it's overall quality and my enjoyment from it. I'd rather have a 2 hour game (like Portal) where the entire 2 hours is enjoyable and worthwhile rather than an 8 hour game that has 2 hours of enjoyable and worthwhile content and 6 hours of filler/stuff to drag things out.

So I'm okay with the episode lengths. They're all good and never disappoint me. Both seasons kick ass :D

  • Will there be a chance to meet with the other 400 Days cast? In that game some chose to join Carver's group, while some stayed behind in that camp

I also would like to talk with the other cast, because I just wanted to go to Becca's face and just piss her off
  • Wow im already loosing patience telltale its been like 400 hours since ep 3
