That will also be my guess and yes Razerhdd i agree with the next gen or current gen idk i get confused they will have to invest time and effort to release their games on those platforms but lets not forget that the Xbox One and PS4 are based on x86 Architecture meaning pretty much they can easily port the PC version with maybe a little buffed detail i guess just to give that NEXT GEN FEELS.
I think their simultaneous work on different franchises definitely plays a role. I mean, they still release one episode per month, just not … moreepisodes of the same franchise. They don't want to neglect either of them, so I think they'll focus mostly on one of them at a time: When a TWDG episode is out, they spend a month working harder on TWAU, then, when the TWAU episode is released, they shift the majority of their attention to TWDG again. ...I admittedly am not very knowledgable on how game developing plays out in the detail, though, so that's just a hypothesis.
I respect your opinion but season 1 did prove that if telltale focuses enough 2+ hours is a walk in the park. Now lets not forget that since Season 1 their staff has increased.
Buffed detail and also a more stable experience. Sony and MS have a high demand for quality from new projects which means its a necessity. Personally, I think this is the best they are going to do now given all of what's going on right now. Maybe later down the line when they are more familiar with next gen tech we might get longer episodes from all of their games but right now it is what it is.

Later down the line might be too late for TWD and if that rumor is true its probably too late for TWAU but hey it doesnt hurt to try to change things early.

Completely agree. I felt like.. playing for 30 minutes and then you see that scene that smells like "To be continued" And you say: Nah, not now, impossible. BUT IT DEFINATELY IS!
Lmfaoooooooooooooo man you just wrote my whole reaction when sorita started to scream and the screen cut black i was just like "the air fills heavy with the stench of to be continued."

Lol a revolution because 90 minutes of gameplay. Instead of complaining why don't we all just replay season 1 and the rest of season 2? That's more than 90 minutes XD. But yea I would enjoy some more playtime instead of cliffhangers :/.

Im in the Revolution yes. 90 minutes isn't even enough time to explore or talk to characters. If the episode were longer then maybe we would have had time to reason with the 400 days characters who went with Tavia. Reasoning with them would have prevented Carlos death, Carver's, and prevent Sarita from getting bit. Also from Reggie dying :/
The sad thing bro is that the writers need more than 90 minutes to tell the story that they really want to tell. You can notice because you can feel that everything in the episodes are rushed to happen.
we always have to wait 2 or 3 months for 90 min episodes at best. and no exploration at all now. no puzzle. nothing. TWD it's like a movie now. but TTG wont listen. they never do
what exactly are you people expecting from $5? im willing to bet i probably couldn't even get you to wash the dishes in my sink for that amount of $, and yet your pissing in your panties because of a game..
I dont know about Carver im sure he had to die but killing him off now was pretty wack I hoped for like Episode 4 to be like the group was getting hunted by carver in the woods like some predator shit lol.

$5 multiplied by a Million customers I dont know about you bro but thats a lot of money towards a game that only needs $100,000 to be developed thats a HUGE profit.

Lol twist Clem and the group will be haunted by Headless Larry and Smashed in face Carver. That's why the background music sounds scary for 204 screen.

Its fine that Telltale took this new direction. But when Borderlands/Game of thrones gets released, I am just going to watch it on youtube. Its pretty much the same thing.
Where did you get the budget amount? Don't forget that Telltale has 200ish employees and every single one of them are full time positions that range from 50k to 80k+ a year.
Don't take me seriously since i have no idea how business and finances work on the gaming industry though.

Yea lmfaooo thats a good episode hell ill pay for that. The only way to defeat them is to do some ritual thats why in the Episode 4 pic everyone is in a circle and clementine is in the middle we discover that all this time her mom was Witch and she created the zombie virus.

Nah you're right I didnt take into consideration how much it is now but I do remember when season 1 came i read somewhere that each episode is $100,000 to make. I dont know how much impact on budget the new increase of employees has caused them.

Clementine's joining the iluminati in episode 4 LOL. They will sacrifice someone to save the group. They'll find out that the walkers can kill u by wearing walker blood now. Only human blood can lead the walkers away

They don't care what we want. It is cheaper and easier this way for them. They got our money, why should they listen to us? We complain about lack of communication - they don't really care, same stupid twitter posts, that's all. We complain about hubs - they don't care. We complain about delays - still don't care. They remain silent just like everything is okay. THEY JUST DON'T CARE. They only "listen" idiots who can't play a game that releases once in 2-3 months more then 90 minutes. Or others who don't want TO PLAY a game, they want GAME TO PLAY ITSELF(just press A from time to time).
I really liked Telltale's TWD S1, BTTF because they enjoyed their jobs, they made games that we enjoyed to play. 400 days DLC, which was decent, but short. Then amazing TWAU ep.1, which wasn't short, it was okay. But after that something changed. 4 horrible months of waiting for 90 minutes TWAU ep.2. 75 minutes (!!!) TWAU ep.3. TWD S2 with no hubs, and about 20% of gameplay per episode. The story is okay, but it feels so rushed, there's so many opportunities to make each episode better(just give us a chance to talk to our group). I always afraid to look or touch different stuff during the game, because if I communicate with someone or something that supposed to be important for game progress, the game won't give me a second chance to finish my observation, the game just continues. But it wasn't a problem in TWD S1, we always knew that if we want to check the fence we have to talk to Mark about this, and there was more topics that we could discuss with him, not only "Let's go".
So, in that way Telltale show us how they care what we think, how important our feedbacks. Just like in their games the final is determined, regardless of choice, only the story will be a bit different sometimes. Doesn't matter what we want, everything will be as they want it to be.
In my opinion, they can raise the price by twice, lower the gameplay time to 1 hour and make the waiting time 4 months long, because this will be the last season of TWD from TTG for me.
They'll listen when and if their bottom line starts suffering. If fewer people are buying their games, it might cause a bit of self-reflection.
Then again, it might not. There are an awful lot of companies out there that continue self-destructive policies right up until the end, never once understanding how they're killing themselves.

Telltale stop being selfish NO ONE WANTS 90 minute entertainment doesn't ruin the story the best games I've ever played with the best storys like TLOU and bioshock Infinite etc was 15-20 hours and was full of gameplay I was entertained and invested whole time.
Plus the excuse it's like a average movie length you will be more entertained the average movie I watch is 2hr to 2hrs and a half even the movie length your describing is minimum
If we don't revolt this what will happen in the future
Telltale: For now on our game episodes will be 30 minutes like your favorite Tv shows you love tv shows RIGHT awesome
Users: But the last episode was only 24 minutes with the end credits
Telltale: Well all tv shows have ads and breaks right?
User: But there was no decisions or gameplay just a big cutscene
Telltale: Don't be stupid remember that decision where you decided who lives
Users: I've played it hundred times and no matter what you chose they both end up dead in the exact same scene
Telltale: Still counts
Users; But if your making games shorter with no gameplay why should we pay the same price and also why when you employ less staff to concentrate on the game?

Yeah sure why not. Telltale does seem to putting too much work out at once. I'm liking Season 2, don't get me wrong, but Season 1 was a complete balance of gameplay and storytelling. Plus the one sitting philosophy is biased, as I played episodes from Season 1 that took me 3 hours and I never got out of my chair once.
Fuck it, I may even want to become a writer at Telltale someday if I cant get a job in the manga industry and write out Season 3 for the Walking Dead and make sure I try to make it two hours long, full of narrative and gameplay.
