  • Maybe I'm just hard headed I want to keep on trying but its not only me its the whole Telltale Community that needs to work together its everyone that should continue asking for this change not only me.

The problem is they don't really seem to made changes based on feedback before as this has already been addressed with Telltale staff elsewh

  • That's the point I agree with you. I'm just not entirely sure if they will listen as they made the change without considering feedback to begin with. A similar point they lost the Aardman license. Is mass feedback likely to make them acquire it again?

  • We had so little meaningful choices this episode... except for the last two, it feels like.

And one more thing may be not in topic context but ... I think we don't have much more important choices like we had with Lee ! I know Cle

I miss the longer episodes.... :( What Telltale needs to do is just stop trying to rush TWD, shut up about Tales from the Borderlands, and just concentrate on what they have on their plate. Instead of trying to rush things, they should just take their time and make the episodes longer...I can help but feel like they're abandoning TWD :(

Let's give Telltale a break. Their episodes are just as long as actual movies. It only takes TellTale 2 months but it can take a movie (including anime) a little more than a year. Plus doing the voice acting must be brutal! They have to say a lot of things because of all the dialogue options. So let's just take it easy on Telltale
  • Agreed if continue this trend and borderlands and GOT is all cutscenes, short with no gameplay just watch it on youtube and save the money lol but I'll always treasure S1 as a masterpiece

Man, S1 had just as much lines per episode, if not even more. I know of the factors that apparently make this season go slower, but just using this as a justification... it falls flat when you take a look back.

  • Oh wow never knew about that and it depends if they see that ENOUGH people are interested on purchasing the game i'm sure they will go out of their way to get the license back just to make the quick bucks.

  • I prefer to call it 'The Lee Everett experience.'

Maybe the apocalypse will happen on the way there.

  • I think episodes should be at least 2 to 2.5 hours.

Compared to past series it seems that current TTG games are getting shorter..... I think it is reasonable to expect at least 2 to 2.5 hours of gameplay per episode.

At this rate the entire game of season 2 will provide only 7.5 hours of gameplay. That's pretty short when you figure the last among us and GTA offer 10 to 15+ hours of gameplay.
  • This line of argument would be a lot stronger if we didn't have an entire season of their pulling off what people are asking for here, done at a time when Telltale likely had a good deal less money at their disposal.

  • No one is bashing Telltale were actually telling them to take a break from working on so many franchises at the same time. So in other words we are looking out for their well being :)

The 90 min thing went nicely for A House Divided, went ok for A Crooked Mile, but ended up badly for Smoke And Mirrors and In Harm's Way

S1 needed 100,000 to break even and sold over 21 million copies sure poor telltale they work so hard and for what big profits making hundreds of millions poor telltale I don't care if they take shortcuts here take my money lol hope we don't force them to actually listen to their fanbase

  • Yes, but it's uncertain if the multiple franchises are the issue and the current length of episodes is just a result of their change in focus.

  • I liked "All that Remains", it could be longer, but the "lone wolf" theme that it tried to pass to us was a nice touch

  • lmfaooo man morning again always saying the opposite of what I say. :D

  • TIME FOR A REVOLUTION BITCH!
  • And then on the 4th Episode of The Walking Dead Season 2, Dan Conners slammed his fist on his desk and said, "LET THERE BE 2 HOURS!!!!"
  • In most cases I agree with what you are saying. I'm just less optimistic that there will be a change and unfortunately there is nothing that compels them to have to respond either.

However beyond speculation there isn't anything to suggest that working on multiple games is the root of the issue.

  • Huh, I actually thought that's the reason it is the weakest. I was fine with Clem taking care of herself during its act 2 and the introduction to the group was fine, but to me, TWD shines when there is a group dynamic and interaction going on, so I found it to be lacking in that regard.

  • Whose fault is that?

  • No, I guess in the long run, it has been proven it's not its fault alone. It was the first example of this new trend, however, and was the frigging Season Premiere, so now it stands out in the back of my head.

  • I understand I have been reading these forums since the beginning of Season 2 and I know that theres always been complains and we believe that Telltale just brushes it off to the side so that might discourage some people that a change will ever come. But like I keep telling myself they DO read these forums that is a fact and I know some employees have already seen this post multiple times and I know that even though they might not say anything everytime they have their meeting one or two employees might bring us up to the CEO and maybe everytime it will push him to say FUCK IT go beyond the 90 minutes. It just takes a push you never how much of a push but a push non the less don't give up what do you have to lose.

  • I don't care that episodes are 90 minutes as long that the episode is good. I wouldn't mind a longer episode but im not going to complain if episodes stay the same length.
  • Well Morning I guess I cant do much more then just like with telltale I cant make them change their rule I can just hope they MIGHT change it. :D

  • 7.5 hours is pretty average considering the 25 dollar price tag. The games you mention were like 60 dollars at launch.

  • Yes agreed I never watch games on youtube but if the future telltale games are just cut-scenes might just watch a bit to see if they got Hubs areas back and gameplay etc

They don't sell telltale physical copies in Ireland :(

Going to be honest I was so let down from S2 see if a sale is even enough to get me to purchase new direction has left me behind as example it's like what happened with Beyond two souls they took away difficulty(puzzles, Can't fail QTE's) and decisions were all illusions, mostly cutscenes etc and that got heavily criticized for lack of gameplay etc which I agreed with. Even that game had hub areas and more gameplay I don't know tbh but won't rule it out definitely
