It's possible he would've done it in the end...but in my opinion, Lee would've had a very,very rough time at the camp, probably even dying.
Carver strikes me as a man perfectly capable of defending himself. Also, what's stopping him from having Troy and the other guy(forgot his name) restraining Lee?

Lee is a very skilled man.
- He is able to take down an armed man with one arm.
- He can crush a walker's skull with one punch.
- He could pull Ben up from the bell tower with no problem.
- He easily knocks the shit out of Molly.
- He can be shot in the side by the Stranger and survive.

- Punches a little girl for staring at him.
- Gives up after being shot in the leg.
In a fair fight, Lee could break that old man's neck.
To be fair, he was shot in both kneecaps. It would be impossible for anyone to stand after that. But you raise good points, Lee has shown more impressive fighting skills than Carver has. Every time Carver's hit someone, he's had some unfair advantage.

Lee alone against carver , I dunno maybe carver will give some good punches in him like he did to kenny with the walkie-talkie but Kenny and Lee would team up they would be unstoppable ! all i could think about when playing Ep3 was if only Lee was there !!

We already have proof that Lee beat Carver. Lee didn't even need to face Carver to do so. All he had to do was to teach Clem how to deal with people like Carver. And Lee was successful. Clem defeated Carver in episode 3. Lee 1 Carver 0.
