I would say Carley, because the relationship that was developing between her and Lee seemed to have a lot of direction, but the shock value of her exit can't really be denied.
I'd say Carver bid adieu too soon. And Pete.
I thought Pete would become a new Lee for Clementine or be her best friend but they killed him tooooooo early.I also think that Carver should have died somewhere at the end of the game, not in the middle. And Larry died too early.
I wish Ben wouldn't of died, i felt he could of matured to be Clem's Protector in the second season. I felt like he needed the chance to prove that he could be counted on, but he never got the chance. That makes me sad.
I just wish Doug could have said and done more. He never has any strong opinions of anyone in the group, and I always kinda wondered what he thought of Kenny. He only had some stock dialogue to go with Carley's pre-apocalypse story, and never talked to anyone other than Lee, and didn't really take sides in any issue, or have any strong opinions of anyone other than Larry! And food doesn't count! It never counts!
* (One Armed Badass) Lee. Thinking about this Season with Lee... man! ''Lee vs. Carver Showdown'' would be awesome!!! Also our choices from S1 would've mattered more.
* (Piggly Wiggly) Pete. That guy had a lot of potential in him. I miss you White Lee.
* (Glimpse Of Hope) Walter. ''Finally someone believes there's a hope in this world.'' and then Carver just straight up murdered him.
* (Bro)Omid. Honestly; I just saw him as a funny guy in S1 nothing more. I didn't care much for him. Season 2 could've easily make me like him more. And then that crazy b***h and her itchy trigger finger came out.
* (Master Of Candy Bars) Chuck. That words he said to me. Can't imagine what would happen if he stayed alive.
Nick, definitely. It felt like such a shame for his character to just be dropped as soon as people started liking him, sure, in most save files he's alive, but he might as well not be.

That's what i'm hoping. They don't HAVE to kill him, it would break the pattern of determinant characters dying.
I think the only way for this to happen though is if he leaves the group for whatever reason. So either way I don't think Nick will stick around :(

He's already the longest surviving determinant character. Carley/Doug don't count because it was a choice between them, rather than prolonging their life. Ben survived to the next episode, Alvin survived to the next episode.
I do hope he survives for longer though. He's a very popular character, and Telltale is getting too predictable at this point regarding determinants.
My personal hope is that he survives until episode 5, and then gets left behind for whatever reason, or goes with another group (preferably along with Luke). That way he never actually dies but doesn't have to be part of the plot anymore. I'm going to be sad to see him go, no matter the circumstances.
Nick being killed off, at this point, would ruin me. I mean, I promised Pete, which is only a sliver of the reason why. Just the fact that at first, we all thought he was a new Ben. I mean, my reaction to when he almost shot Clem, and the aftermath following was:
"Well, shit. Ben's reincarnated in this asshole." No joke.
But then he apologized. Which surprised me. I mean, it's been over 2 years since the dead started walking, and people like the Governor and the St. Johns are just "too far gone". I just thought he was gonna be an asshole we had to deal with.
Nick may not have much, but he has enough humanity to show he feels bad for his mistakes. Plus, I think we've all gotten over Ben at this point. I mean, if Kenny can, we can. Him apologizing to Walter gave him another point.
So, I'm not ashamed to say I'll probably cry like a bitch when he dies. I just hope it isn't in this episode.

Okay, let me explain. I don't hate Ben. I've said a lot in the past on many other threads that I don't. I made my own discussion called: Ben Appreciation Thread. So I don't hate Ben. Plus I said above: "Plus, I think we've all gotten over Ben at this point."
Hey guys did you forget about Carlos? He was a character with really high potential, like a very big enemy of Carver, but I think telltale wasted all of that potential ;/.
Carver potential was also wasted IMO. He should've live a lot longer, and die in ep5.
I loved Ben, I thought he should of had a bigger role in this season as him stepping up to the plate, then dying towards the end of the season. I feel his character would of really shined, everyone saw him as the bumbling fool who couldn't do anything right. I felt it would of been a better story if Ben survived, and him and Clementine take care of each other, Christa had nothing on Ben.

Yeah, I like him for the exact same reasons you do. And I promised both Pete and Luke i'd look after him. His apology was completely surprising, and very honest. I had my snap judgement about him too at first, but once he apologizes and you learn WHY he almost shot Clem and was so against her, he comes across as a very sympathetic character.
Him sacrificing himself for Clem in the "Go With Nick" timeline made me like him even more, and then his guilt and humane reaction to killing Matthew to protect Luke and Clem was heartbreaking. He was also willing to put himself in harms way by telling Walter the truth, because he thought that it was the right thing to do. Even when Luke wanted him to lie to protect him.
I'll probably be crying too. I just hope that if he does die, he gets a good ending after all this buildup.

I agree. Besides, y'know, the fact that Christa took care of Clementine for 2 years while getting over the loss of her boyfriend and her baby...
But yeah, I agree. There definitely should've been one last defining moment for Ben before he died.

Well put. Very well put. His backstory makes you want to sympathize with him even more. I mean, having to kill your own mom?! Makes me wonder why someone else couldn't do for him...
Man, all this talk makes me very happy he's able to still be alive.

I think we've all accepted Carlos' loss, unfortunately. ;( I feel, however, that Carlos died to further Sarah's character development. Carver's potential was kind of wasted, I agree. I do think Tavia and the rest of the group will hunt down Clem and the rest for vengeance though.

I don't know why people love Christa so much, i never really liked her. It always seemed like she was hormonal for no reason all the time, and i got little patience for that.

Yeah and the story about his mother becomes even sadder when you remember the story about the deer and how sensitive he is. If he couldn't shoot a deer, can you imagine what could have led to him doing something like that to his mum? :(

"Like...social studies?"
He's too good for the world of the Walking Dead.
