I think it is absolutely stupid to blame Sarah, for the cause Sarita got bitten. Sarita is a big girl, she should be looking after herself. Carlos was her father, he was shot in the head, then eaten. Would you not instantly scream if you saw your father/mother shot in the head in front of you at fifteen years old.
Well guess what...Clementine was a 8year old girl back then and the apocolypse has just started some days ago. Sarah on the other hand, is a… more 15year old teenager that lived in the apocolypse for over 2years already. Carlos obviously sheltered her but still, there is absolutely no excuse for her behaviour. I tried my best during the last 3 episodes to make her stronger, so she can finally grow the fuck up, but it didn't work out. Sarah is the reason why Sarita got bitten and will most likely die in the next episode (and she is also the reason why Reggie got killed). If Sarah will be a determinated character in the next episode (what she probably will be), that girl ain't gonna make it, in my playthrough.
So, you hate her for being unable to survive on her own, still when the possibility presents itself to help her be capable you say it's not your concern. Make up your mind, because I'm getting Carver vibe here.
I love Sarah, she is such a sweetheart, and doesn't deserve to be treated like a piece of garbage. Why do you people hate her so bad? I th… moreought i was cold, but i don't get it. How do you expect a sheltered fifteen year old girl to react to anything. She reminds me of a kid sister or someone that needs taking care of, and i played that role before as the dutiful protector. It is part of who i am as a person. After episode 3 i just wanted to break into Carver's camp myself and give her a hug after Carlos died.
She isn't no Jane, she is my buddy and i want her to be safe. She reminds me of how Clementine was in Season 1. I do whatever it takes to protect my GURLS.
This song i am linking pretty much is how i feel about Sarah/Clem.

Firstly, I thought you said you were out.
Secondly, No, Words are much easier than actions.
Thirdly, What she did stand for is blind idealism of good guys and bad guys as Carlos taught her, Not true friendship where you follow your friend into hell itself.
As i said before, I'm not her guardian angel. Every other character i like created their own entity without any help. And thanks for bringing that up, I actually did help her. Not occasionally, But i did when it was possible and when she didn't piss me off. But she just doesn't change.
So, you hate her for being unable to survive on her own, still when the possibility presents itself to help her be capable you say it's not your concern. Make up your mind, because I'm getting Carver vibe here.
In 101 Clem was NO DIFFERENT than sarah. Clem wasn't ready for a world like that. She didn't know anything, she didn't know how to survive. … moreSO did lee just "give up" on her?! Did he just say "well she's a little girl that knows nothing about survival so she should just die"?! No, lee didn't say that. But your saying that right now. Your saying that just because Sarah ain't tough enough and the Sarah doesn't know how to surviv that she should just die. NO. She can be thought how to survive. Just like Clem was.
So people who say that we should just leave Sarah and not waste our time on her, think about what would have happened if lee did tha to clem.

Well I hope we dont have to go through a whole other season of Clementine 2.0. Sarah MIGHT toughen up in another season or 2 to come but she is just too damned annoying. She has NO redeeming qualitys. Clementine was always kinda endearing (cute, sometimes funny, awkward) and she wasn't COMPLETELY useless like this stupid bitch is.
If Lee sheltered Clem the way Carlos did Sarah, Clem would not be much better off than Sarah right now. Now that Carlos is dead, Sarah now has the chance to toughen up
As i said before, Clem evolved. But she had potential, Sarah doesn't. And if you have proof that she does have potential, I'm again very open to changing my mind.
I said I was out of that other little conversation I was having with you.
And I disagree , I think words can hurt or have a same effect on someone as words can. Take cyber billing for example. No one is hiring you directly. Their using words. And sometimes people commit suicide because those words are so strong.

I think a lot of the people are ignoring the obvious point that she is just a sheltered child, Or that a lot of them are kids themselves so they think of her as a contemporary, so that is why they are so harsh to her. To me she reminds me of Ben, and i loved the stuffing out of that kid. I didn't care what he did, it would never make me stop loving that stupid kid.

So let me get this straight, OP. Carlos getting shot by a random bullet, then eaten by walkers in front of his daughter is Sarah's fault because she screamed when she saw her father, Carlos, get shot by a random bullet then eaten by walkers.
I urge you to look up the definition of a fun little word called "logic." If you do that, maybe I'll read past the part where you said "HURR, SHE DUN GOT HER DAD KILLED, DURR." That's assuming that the rest of the OP isn't filled with equally biased and untrue claims, of course.
That's a whole different thing. For example, Cyberbullying is psychological. But in the ZA, You have to be smart and resourceful, When Sarah is put in a difficult situation, She panics. No words can be useful there.

Well said. Like i've said in another comment, Clementine had plenty of redeeming qualities. She was resourceful for an 8 year old girl. I did however get frustrated with her sometimes but not as much as damn Sarah.
Clem didn't know how to survive? I suppose that's why she hid in her treehouse. "They can't get up here". She recognized a weakness in wa… morelkers' motor skills and exploited it. She took a weapon with her. She left a walkie talkie in the house and took the other with her to communicate with anyone she saw enter the house while staying out of danger herself. True, she would have died if Lee didn't come along, but she clearly knew a thing or two about protecting herself. What does Sarah know?
Upon leaving the house, walkers were approaching them. Lee, Shaun, Chet/Andre try to move a car blocking their escape vehicle. Clem jumps in to help.
Anytime Lee would do something for survival's sake, he would explain it to Clem and she would catch on very quickly. If Clem didn't understand something, she would ask about it.
The issue isn't about what Sarah does or doesn't know. It's her responses to things. Even two years into the apoca… [view original content]
All this hate towards a child with an implied mental disability disturbs the hell out of me.
How is Sarah at fault when Carlos is directly responsible for the way Sarah is? It's not as if Sarah wanted to be coddled forever. She tries to break out of it, but everyone else kept treating her like damaged goods. Its only when Clementine comes in is when things start to change.
And how is Sarah at fault for Carlos' death? It was pure bad luck that Carver's group shot at random from the roof and happened to hit Carlos in the neck. They didn't recognise Carlos on sight nor heard Sarah having a quiet panic attack in the middle of a very loud herd of walkers. And for all her problems, Sarah held herself together pretty well when following her father in the crowd. It was only natural that she would lose it upon seeing her father torn apart in front of her seconds after being shot in the neck.
I get it that she might not be everyone's favourite character, but this kind of hatred is looking a little unjustified here.

I didn't mean it literally, I mean she's always a liability and she's never EVER trying to be helpful. Unlike Ben, And Ben is always hated f… moreor being "Useless". Ben has always tried to help, He always failed but that's because the dev team wanted him to look like a shitbird to test your morality.
Ah, ok. I'm glad she was fighting as well instead of pretending to be a walker and walking away. I think when the adults started fighting at that moment they all recognized they were probably fucked for doing so but none of them wanted to see the kids die.
I don't recall seeing Kenny, Luke, or Nick fighting (or at all for that matter).
Oh really? Let me tell you a story, when i was in high school years ago, i had a teacher who was a bully. He would single out certain kids in class. He would verbally abuse them, make fun of them, in front of the whole class. He would constantly pick on this one girl for being "richer" than everyone else. I being maybe Sarah's age, or a little younger at first was intimidated by him. I didn't speak out because of fear i would be attacked and ridiculed. Eventually it got so bad i would see her crying everyday after class. I couldn't handle that, and the next time he made fun of her, i finally said something. I stood up out of my seat and confronted him, no one else said anything. There was silence in the room, then the focus came down on me. I didn't care though I was glad i did it because by doing so it made things slightly easier for her at the time. He stopped picking on her, and we eventually became friends because of it.

She had nothing to do with Carlos' death. Carlos got shot in the neck by Tavia or one of her crew then made noise which attracted zombies to him. Sarah and clementine could not have saved him. Now, it was her which made Carver decide to kill Reggie, since she causes all of the work to not be completed, but in the end it's just Carver being an asshole that kills Reggie.
Side note, you're SUPPOSED to hate her. She's like Ben and Nick. They're truly good people but they fuck up all the time. It causes people to sometimes be torn between positive and negative feelings about their characters. It's good character development and I'm fairly certain they are indeed going somewhere with Sarah's character. You don't like it? Good for you, but a lot of people do, so no, she shouldn't just be killed off. Her character has too much potential for that.
Obviously you didn't understand what i was trying to say, and i feel it would be pointless in talking to you any further. Don't feed me bullshit and call it mashed potatoes.

She did DO something. She stood up for clem. That's DOING something for another.
Oh ya, an words can be as strong as actions my friend.

Skylar Approved.
Not the point. I explained the whole potential thing dozens of times earlier.

Exactly, and calling her things like "bitch" is just disgusting.
Huh, she tried to protect Clem when Carver hit her in my playthrough.
I feel the same way when reading the responses in this thread.
By doing what? Yelling at Carver? Ah yes, She protected Clem.
Well, No offense but That's because you're not willing to discuss or listen. That's all.
Ah, ok. I'm glad she was fighting as well instead of pretending to be a walker and walking away. I think when the adults started fighting at that moment they all recognized they were probably fucked for doing so but none of them wanted to see the kids die.

Most parents would try to shelter their children from walker's and Carlos is no exception, Lee kept Clem shelterd in season one until Lee met Chuck.
I believe that Sarah can adapt to the world just like Clem did
Except he has been listening, and can tell that this discussion is just running in circles.
Wait, do you honestly expect Sarah to realize that she is sheltered and suddenly metamorphosize into a capable survivor?
Yes, because some people keep repeating what they say without listening to the other side.
Yes indeed. I meant what I said, and I'm not going to waste any more time with you.
Actually, I'm the only one on this thread who said: "If you have proof, I'm very open to changing my mind." Soooo, ....
And we've been giving you proof which was repeatedly denied and spun on its head. It's been fun, but I have better things to do. Later.
Oh, No you didn't. Yelling at Carver isn't a proof, My friend.
