SARAH IS INSUFFERABLE (spoilers)

  • Yeah, I was pretty disappointed in her. Apparently her parents never taught her not to talk to strangers. :/

I honestly felt kind of betrayed by Clem for going with him and dropping us like a hot potato

  • "Sarah has no redeeming qualities." Hm, I think you're forgetting who was the one that essentially saved Clem's life by giving her that peroxide in episode 1, and she stands up for Clem if you take the blame for the photo and if Carver hits her at the beginning of episode 3. The reason you see Sarah as a burden is because that's what Telltale wanted her to feel like to players, that's a part of her characterization, she's meant to serve as a foil to Clem to show what Clem would've been like if Lee hadn't taught her how to survive. And hating Sarah for reacting to her father's death is a pretty low blow.

  • Being a brave character surely doesn't hurt in the ZA... a character that is afraid and useless is surely less likely to survive.

Gotta MAN THE FUCK UP? I wonder what happened to some of those who MANNED THE FUCK UP. Carver died, Crawford is overrun, Lee died, the St. J

  • Facts?

"Okay, that girl needs to just die already." Opinion, I(and a bunch of others) don't agree with this.

"Her father just died because because of her stupidity!" Wrong

"But yeah, I will say it again. Sarah, as a character, is a god awful one. Like I have said in previous comments, the girl has no redeeming qualities." Opinion

"Sorry to say, but she's a lost cause." Opinion

At the end of the day, the character is purposefully annoying. She's almost intolerable. The sole purpose of her character is to push our morality to the limits. There is no denying all of this. This isn't whining. I'm just stating facts.

  • Not to try and be rude to you OP but your points don't seem to make sense. I don't see how Sarah's supposed "stupidity" caused her fathers death. What's ironic is that it has been implied multiple times that due to her fathers sheltering she is actually intelligent (perhaps not in terms of common sense but I felt as though she had read a variety of different books and learnt different things).

Carlos was shot, whether it was on purpose, or a bullet that missed a nearby walker and hit him, or whatever the simple matter of fact is that he's dead.

  • WE GOTTA BE A BIG MAN. MAN UP.

Honest question here, do you have any idea what the term "Man up means?" If you mean to abandon a helpless grieving girl to die, because you find her frustrating we have different opinions.

"you still shouldn't wish death upon her" It's not like she's a real person so stop acting like i'm despicable for not liking the charact

Replace this with Nick and it'd be more correct

  • "She is almost intolerable" no she is not, you lack of tolerance wich is different. If theres people who can tolerate her behavior and understand it that doesn't make her intolerable that makes you a person with lack of tolerance, im not trying to be mean but that's the true and im sure more than one person agrees with this.

  • I didn't feel betrayed i felt more let down than anything. After everything i did for her, she couldn't tell me the truth that she was communicating to someone without our knowledge. I knew she was being manipulated by the Stranger, by her making that bad choice it got people killed which she will have to live with; the same as when she left the gun on the counter and it resulted with Omid dying.

Imagine this, if Omid never died would Christa or her baby's situation have changed? I'm sure these are things that keep her awake at night.

I honestly felt kind of betrayed by Clem for going with him and dropping us like a hot potato

  • yeah he couldn't take the idea that he was the one that screwed over his family so he put blame on others so he wouldn't have to feel guilty

He probably blamed us because he knew it was his fault but in his mind he wanted to justify that it wasn't his fault and the "evil" people ruined his life when in fact it was him

  • I mean, it's not like her not being brave doesn't present any interesting possibilities to develop her or Clementine or anyone as a character. Nor present any interesting situations. Or hard moral choices. Or anything for that matter.

  • I agree she is annoying but you hate her way too much. insufferable? Yeah right, no. She is annoying but in the grand scheme of things, she has some psychological or mental issues (dont mean that in an offensive way). That does not make her a bad person. I don't mind her and if she survived right till the end its fine as long as she doesn't turn into a Lizzie type character. She couldn't cut those branches, which is somewhat silly but again, think about everything in the bigger picture. Carlos said she's not normal. So why punish her for that?

You are really grasping at straws now. The walkers breaking into the pharmacy wasn't a dangerous situation? Really? Lilly and Larry run away, and one of the group members gets eaten. Literally the only thing standing between a horde of walkers and Clem and everybody else was a door and Lee pushing against it.
The point is not to make a list of non-hub locations where Clem helped Lee, as fun as that may sound. Just because Lee did not blindly throw Clem in harm's way does not mean he was sheltering her at all. The point is that he depended on her on numerous occasions, so many times in fact that I seriously doubt that a truly sheltered girl like Sarah could ever reach such a level of bravery and usefulness in her own group.
