Important: Due to the recent misunderstanding I need to clarify something. I don't mind if you post my pictures elsewhere. But please give me proper credit. For example: Just refer to this thread or link my Twitter-Account https://twitter.com/stkober . If you just post them without, people will think you made them. Thanks

Now, what is this? Who am I? And why am I doing this?
First of all I've opened this thread because of the overwhelming positive feedback I received in the old one (you can find the old thread here). So I can have pictures in the opening post and don't scare people away with a wall of text
What is this?
Well, I've spend some time digging through the game files and figured out how most of them work. So what you see on my pictures are actual unmodified models from the game itself. I've written a program that's able to read and translate the files and display the models in my own OpenGL-Engine. So basically everything except the model itself I've created myself. What you see on the picture are screen-shots of that OpenGL-Engine My goal is to evolve this someday into something interactive 
So the pictures are actually just a byproduct
Who am I?
I am about to get my 2-year-post-graduate degree (equivalent to a M.Sc) in computer science in a few weeks and am starting to look for work in the video games industry. hint hint So I'm trying some things out
Why am I doing this?
For fun, mostly. It started out as a little project to see if I could read the game-files. When I was first able to pose models, I wanted to share the results with you guys I'd still love to get some feedback from someone at Telltale, what they think about it.
I will take requests of what you would like to see next. But remember, I am using the game-files, so I can't use models that are not in the game.
So, I'm looking forward to more feedback, ideas and maybe even some pointers of what I could do better or different

Hey Gunab, these models are amazing. I was wondering if you could do a 360 view of the models as reference for fan art. Don't worry about it if it's too much work, these would just be really good for studying proportions.
I have tried doing clay sculptures from characters in-game but the lack of accurate reference makes them fall short in quality.

But apart from maybe adding a light spoiler warning to the title... I have no problem with this thread, all provided Telltale accepts this kind of game art.
You mean like rotation 360° around a model? No I'm sorry, I can't just yet.
The only program I have for this is Fraps. And my editing tool where I would rotate is in another window, so fraps looses focus
But I'm planning to do automated animations for this very reason
Has support been contacted about the 1 day delay on posting in the fan art thread?
No, just some full body screenshots on all the models. Like front, side, back, 3/4 view, and maybe some close ups on the head.
Which i doubt they will. Those images are borderline copyright infringement.

At least it wouldn't be in Germany, but I guess the US has the same law there 
I assure you both, we're not in a grey area here. In principle, rights holders could already sue simple fan art makers' butts off, in Germany as well as the US. But mostly they won't.
If you're really interested in the rights situation, look up Josh Wattles' 2012 SDCC speech on the matter ("Fan Art Law at Comic-Con", deviantART channel on youtube). It's an insightful as well as witty video.
This kind of TTG file tampering has been around for a long time, guys. It's essentially how Laserschwert did his incredible Tales of Monkey Island fan art poster, which gog.com promptly and to this very day mistakes for official art. And what happened to Laserschwert? Well, one year later, Telltale hired him to do the official Back to the Future box art, that's what happened to him.

Telltale hire this guy! Pretty amazing how you can do that with the models, they look as good as the in game poses.
When you get the chance can you please make more adorable ones of Sarah and Clem?

And if you can and if you want. can you put her hat on the ground in front of her like she took it off? if you cant, then can you just put it without her hat on.

I like seeing the images because I make little stories to them in my mind.

You know what's really weird? I thought the same thing when I saw that picture. All I kept thinking is Clementine saying "I'll pop you!"
