screwed the fans

A season pas is now €6,50, so if you're a big fan you've paid 3 times that amound.
Maybe they could do that after ep 5, but now after 3 eps?
I know its about making sales , but its also screwing die-hard fans

  • the problem is that its on sale before the last ep.
Thats screwing the fans, okay if its after ep 5 no problem.
comparable with a season pass of COD and before its here , you can buy the lot for 33% of what you paid

  • They took our jerbs!

I don't know the European to Canadian currency thing. Are you talking about season 1 or season 2? Because season 1 is $6.24 (75% off) in Canada and season 2 is $12.49 (50% off)

  • umm if you are talking about the steam sale well no it isn't cheap at all telltale do want to sell it to the people who don't have it yet you know it is our choice to buy it on the day of release at full price no one forced you to do it plus anyone who is seriously complaining about this just stop you are questioning the almighty gaben and his steam sale

Its not a huge difference. I think "screwing the fans" is a little dramatic.

  • Look Kenny~Lee thats for sharing but this is not Facebook or Twitter and I think you posted a bad thread on the fan base so next time post this SH$% somewhere else my friend thanks

  • Glad to be of service, ma'am.

    Ah, ok.

  • I don't think Telltale has any control over these sales, but even if they did this happens all the the time so it's not unexpected.

are you complaining about steam sale? LOL

I bought this game 3 times.

    1. Once for myself on PS3 Both Seasons,
    2. The collector's disc edition.
    3. Finally, the steam version of both TWD.
  • Do you even lift?

  • hahaha same here I got it

    1. both seasons on steam
    2. both seasons on xbox live
    3. all of season 1 and episode 1 of season 2 on ios

and it was worth every dollar spent

  • I got it on steam because i couldn't handle the PS3 slowdowns anymore during QTEs. I want that seamless play experience.

  • fair enough I know what you mean there is a massive difference in performance on pc but the console versions are gonna be like the pc versions soon cause they are being ported to next gen and if there is some sort of special/collectors edition up for pre order on next gen well then I will have bought the game a fourth time

Hopefully my expensive PC can handle it without slowdown, it was really frustrating doing some QTE when it was either/saving/loading, because that means you probably will die unless you know what to do. The only thing that sucks is i don't have my save anymore, soooooooo i guess i will have to replay it again.

  • Sometimes things go on sale. Sometimes after some people have already bought them. You knew full well that it would go on sale at SOME POINT, so you have no one to blame but yourself that you couldn't wait that long if it was really so important to you.

  • Its not like he just bought Watchdogs for PC, then i could understand his argument.

  • This is nothing new. If it gets to you that much, stop buying the games when they first come out.

  • Haven't been playing games much, have you OP? If you've been playing PC games for any length of time, you'd be aware they often go on sale fairly quickly after release. TWAU was 66% off on the Steam summer sale making it $8.49. If you don't like paying full price and supporting the developers at that price, then have patience and wait a little. Wait a year from release and 50% off during a sale is a guarantee with a good chance of 66%. You might even get lucky with 75%. Wait 18 months, and 75% is a sure bet during a sale.

    Patience is a virtue.

(FYI, with the Steam sales, I know the developers set how much their games get discounted, not Steam. This is likely true with other sites as well. So Telltale's the one who chose how much TWAU and TWD were on sale for.)

  • I think you guys should try something what I did, buy the entire game when it is release

I did mean the psn sale...
I am a big fan of the game , i just don't get why they sell the game halfway through the season for €1,30 per episode thats all while the fans payed €4-€5
