Clem shouldn't be the main playable character, she should be the main character but not the one you play as. It would make a nice difference between seasons. Imagine it like this:
Season 1: you are taking care of Clem.
Season 2: you are Clem.
Season 3: Clem is taking care of you.
Also I kinda want to play as Kenny.
The game plays from the perspective of Luke.
Episode 1: In The Dark
Clementine, Luke, and Sarita, the only known living group members, explore an abandoned Wellington, empty of all life. There is serious bonding and character development with the three surviving characters. At the end, a man is found sitting alone in a cottage, by a fire. The episode ends with what you say to him.
Episode 2: Against Them All
Cold, hungry, and endangered, the group from last episode finds out that Wellington WAS nothing but a pipe dream, and that the man they found, Thomas, lost everyone he loved and cared about trying to get there. Suddenly, extremely loud noises are heard outside, as trucks roll in to city. Knowing nothing about the people arriving, Clementine and Luke head out to investigate, leaving Sarita at the cottage with Thomas. The people arriving are a group of slaveholders, capturing anyone they find and using them for forced labor. While spying, Clementine is caught, thrown into a truck, and taken away by the group. Luke runs back to the cottage, only to find it empty. The rest of the episode is about Luke trying to sneak in and take down the group from the inside, having to make extremely difficult choices regarding the events that go on. The episode ends with Luke finding Clementine, Sarita, and Thomas being interrogated in an open field.
I might come back and write up ideas for the next three episodes if you guys want me to.
Why do we have a thread like this when there are two episodes left? A lot can happen in that time and there is no way we can predict what is going to happen in those two episodes and THEN ALSO guess what happens with S3. At least wait until after EP 5 is done before posting threads like this.
My only real must for season 3 is that Clem returns as the protagonist. She deserves more than one short season with mixed reception.
This depends a lot on how S2 ends. If Wellington is a good place, then it's very hard to make a good start story wise. I mean, the happy little place that gets destroyed is a little too cliche in videogames, but it's hard to think of a good season happening entirely in a settlement. Where's the conflict? I think the best way out of this would be Wellington turning into a bad place in the time between S2 and S3 and forcing the group to leave (either voluntarily or by exile).
Also, it heavily depends on who's alive and who isn't. I'm sure Kenny and Christa would come into conflict fairly often, and I think Christa would be fairly protective of the baby, should it survive S2. I don't know. Right now, I can think of a thousand stories with a thousand outcomes. We have to wait at until ep4 comes out to at least see in which direction S2 is heading after Carver's death.
Completly new story.
A teenager who was friends with Ben, (still somewhat nervous like him but not to his extent) got seperated from him after their bandit-attack and met some other survivors nearby who were travelling north. Eventually they all go to north, however each one of them are picked off one-by-one. Whether its by other group members, walkers, bandits or sacrifice, or just plain horrible scenarios they all die except for Bens friend. He becomes a much more brave person and at the end as he's walking after burying his new best friend that died.
He hears a scream, he quickly rushes over and saves an unknown figure. As he helps them up (whilst they're still hidden) he asks them for their name. You hear the words "Clementine" and see her look up towards the protagonist, her clothes are ripped, bloody and dirty and she looks tired. Then it cuts to black, and 'Season Four' fills in the events of Clementines group during 'Season Three' and tells the story of her and the protagonist during 'Season Four' (In which you play as both and work together).
Risky, but not necessarily bad. They'd have to really pull it off if they do a new story
One episode left since there working on episode 4 and second of all nobody cares if it's a lil bit early
Maybe S3 will be different from the other seasons... really different
As much as I love Clementine, I think it would be more interesting to have a different character as the protagonist. Still I would want Clementine, Kenny, Luke, Christa, Sarita, Sarah, and Jane to be alive. It would be very silly to kill off almost everyone from Season 1 and keep adding new characters in every Episode.
Think about it. It would be like if they killed off everyone except Rick from the TV Series and gave him a new group in each Season. But I digress.
I think one thing that would be cool is if the group find a way to make a life and have new members join as time passes. This also would see the return of Lilly and bring back old wounds and cause a power struggle in the group. If Kenny was the protagonist, you would have the options to oppose Lilly (which is very Kenny) or try to be reasonable and rational ( which is very Lee/Clementine)
I am sick and tired of playing as a little girl to be frank. I wish I was playing as a character who became her guardian at some point.
I would like to see telltale move away from clementine too if they are going to do a third season. (my guess is they are not) Even though ive enjoyed the season two games, they feel a little stale to me. I think a reboot with completely new characters in a different part of the world (like England or something) would be a good idea.
Clem, Sarah, Jane, Mike, Nick, Rebecca, the baby, Christa, and the 400 Days people all band together and find a prison. Nick gets bitten in the leg, resulting in One-Legged Nick, the new wise character of the group. The group finds themselves in a war against a tyrant called The Senator and his town full of people. Everything builds up to a battle in episode 5, "All-Out Anticlimax", where the Senator gets away.
Then in season 4, a horrible plague breaks out at the prison that kills almost everybody in episode 1, "The Enemy Unseen". Then the Senator returns and beheads One-Legged Nick, sparking the war as the prison group battle for Nick's honor. Clementine tackles the Senator and they fight it out, with the Senator almost winning until Lilly makes her return by driving a katana through his heart and leaving him for the walkers. The group sadly departs their fallen home by the end of episode 2 ("All-Out-Holy Shit, This Time He's Serious!") and episode 3 ("Well, This Sucks") opens up with the survivors scattered and on the road again, everyone still reeling from the loss of Nick.
Okay, I'm finished now. What all this boils down to is that I have absolutely no ideas of my own for season 3, which is why I leave such things to the professionals.
TellTale's The Walking Dead Season 3
It takes place 25 thousand years in the future. On a deserted Mars orbital station, you play as sargent Ving Rhames. You were sent there by your cohorts to infiltrate a distress call made deep within the steel girders and metal walls of the facility.
As you go deeper in the station, fighting through hordes of walkers. You find the call was made by a little girl, a girl named Clementine. She was cryogenically frozen after the events of Season 2.
As you and ninja Clementine (BTW, I decided to make her a ninja now) fight your way out of the Mars station, you must detonate the "Mega Nuke 4000." The plan goes sideways when the queen walker confronts Ving Rhames and ninja Clementine. With no other options remaining, Ving sacrifices himself for ninja Clem (cause I'm sure as shit not having Clementine do it). She boards the ship and quickly flies out as Ving activates the nuke. (Why was she so important, you ask? She had the cure for the walker virus!)
Playing as someone who knows Clementine, so we can see how our choices in Season 2 affected her from an outsider's perspective.
A character who we know, but doesn't have a lot of characterisation beyond a few defining traits. I don't know, Luke, Mike or someone?
