  • Don't like it? What kind of job is it?

  • Don't worry.They'll stop it.
    SOON

  • Not everyone feels this way. I love restrictions and I really enjoy not being able to play the game for longer as it takes away from my experience but who cares when TTG has some really great points on this subject, right?

  • So are you gonna answer my question, or what?

But even so, how the hell does that make it a bad thing?

  • I agree, the length of the episodes are too short. The issue isn't the price of the game, we the customers deserve something better than the ninety or so minutes we are currently getting. You think how much money telltale are making on The Walking Dead alone. It's not as if we are asking alot.
Trouble is, I believe that telltale are getting greedy. This wasn't the case when Season One was released, as by all accounts it was an experiment, and they didn't know if people would like it or not.
Now though they are rubbing their hands with glee and the pound signs are in their eyes. So they give us less for the money, just to make more profit.
One day it will backfire on them big time. There are many businesses up and down the country that tried the same and went bankrupt.
Seems that telltale are suffering from the, ' It won't happen to us ' syndrome.

  • I prefer people not to speak for me since I tend to disagree with the sentiment most of the time, as in this case,

MANY. Many people complained, I included them. Still great episodes, but not properly done. Is that what got your attention? lol.

  • The worst thing is that Telltale won't listen to us! Is it so god damn hard to listen to your fucking fans? If you want to keep your fanbase you should probably start listening to them. Your stories are good yeah but the length of these episodes are NOT what we want.

  • They've heard the complaint a hundred times so what you really mean is you want them to do what you want.

His name is Eduard Hilj. He was a relatively famous singer in Soviet Union. He died couple of years ago. Also the "Trolol song" is actually called "I'm very happy because I'm going home"

But lets be honest we all adore telltale games that's why everyone is acting like this so passionately on the issue it is hurting the fanbase deeply. I believe telltale have the potential to be the best gaming company out there but if they take this path of reducing instead of improving key elements it will only end in tears I'm a point and click veteran I played everyone single one out there telltale TWD S1 was the best I ever played. All the feedback was constructive anything else the Mods will deal with expertly I don't see why they don't

  • Actually they should be listening to customers, since they are paying money to them.

Without listening to the majority they run a chance of losing them as customers in the future and thusly a chunk of income.

  • Oh man, this episode is way too short!! Telltale will totally listen to us with le epik memes and gifs xDxDxDxD

  • When you put 70 minutes (or less) for an ending... Well this is just "let's get this over with".

    KCohere posted: »

Don't say that. TWAU is not just a property to throw away so they can move onto the next thing. Besides, that's how long the last episode was, on average.

  • It seems that they are rushing their current games to get to Bordelands and GoT.
Why would they shorten their episodes just like that ? Imagine if some of the best games we had used this BS excuse ? "One-sitting thingy".. You can pause and all. But at least, now they are done with TWAU, they could easily put their best into TWD, like they always did in TWD season 1.

  • Yeah, wonderful, a Hitler comparison, bra-vo.

    Alt text

Seriously, could we not do that?

Telltale got a reaction from the people and some of it got to their head. Adolf Hitler got something in his head and got a reaction from the people.

Yeah, but the majority of people here are tired of this.

I agree, but we HAVE to start doing something, try to talk to them, Idk, but we have to call their attention, I don't think they come here to read our posts...

  • 1) they can (reality is...it's their game...they can do whatever they want to do with it...and i think that sucks)
    2) One-sitting policy is for someone who has lot of time in their hand....just staying home and playing the damn game.
    3) Who knows if TWD next two episodes will be any good...because coming from TWAU...yeah..i hear people complaining about the finale...
    4) who knows what they are thinking...

If they can fix the download problem with Xbox Live I'll be able to give my thoughts on it.

I don't think Telltale is greedy - although I do think they've got way too much on their hands and that it probably has had an effect on the process for TWAU and Season 2 of TWD. Perhaps overly ambitious, maybe. Since I've got friends who develop indie games, etc. and are in the industry, I can recognize that projects can change on whim; certain scenes being added or removed, content being cut, etc. I do think it's a point of concern that these episodes are starting to feel like "episodes" rather than interactive experiences for players. I think TWD did a great job of mediating the explorative nature of the genre while maintaining an optional sense of pace that felt natural, rather than forced.

I think they need to return to that element, because there are moments - such as when speaking to people or examining things during certain scenes - that clearly feel like they're filler, rather than something important to the player. In episode four, they had this whole premise that the player needed to choose the right areas to investigate and that there was some serious consequences depending on them, but it all ended up fairly superficial. At least in the first episode, if you did choose to go to one place rather than the other something significant happened as a result.

I do remember they've responded before, but I'm sure it's kinda hard to weed through posts that don't have anything constructive and those that do.
