It's not the idea of him being a criminal. It's the fact that he is a criminal in an American production. But, whatever, who knows how that turns out.
I didn't have to be personally present to have an opinion of the Soviet Union. And do you really think that everyone who lived at that time mysteriously died or vanished once the Soviet Union was no more? Like, there was nobody who could share their experience of the Soviet Union with future generations? Sorry, but no, it didn't happen, nobody died or vanished with the Soviet Union, millions of people who were alive then are still alive now and could tell a lot about the Soviet Union.
Meh... I've never seen a Russian with tattoos. And the Soviet Union broke up ages ago. Unless your like 35, there different now... so... yea… moreh. And why don't you like the idea of him being a criminal? That's badass. I'd rather have that than crumpets and tea.
No... you said you know about Russia and stuff. You used to be a part of it, not anymore... or... I guess... if you where you where probably like 3 or something cause I'm pretty sure the oldest user is like 30 something... and... your... 15? I think... IDK. Basically, if your not a part of it, and don't have the accent, don't act like your a professional Russian.

Many governements are like that, unfortunately... They prefer to make a law against cursing instead of solving the real problems.
French's politics are sinking the country so much right now that some people are deseperate enough to vote for the FN (french extremists racists politics).
I know about Russia, quite a lot about it, you happen to know a lot about it if you are Ukrainian. Not everything, of course, but quite a lot. I don't have the accent when speaking Russian, because, hell, it happens to be my first language. I'm not acting like a professional Russian, but I could've, I doubt they would distinguish me as a Ukrainian unless I would've stated that outright. I'm not 15, by the way, either. As I said, you don't have to be personally present to know about something. Being present helps, but you can totally know something without it.

Well, because he looks like a generic over-exaggerated Russian mobster, with a lot of criminal tattoos on his body. Nothing original, he looks like a walking stereotype of a Russian criminal, than actually a Russian criminal.
I.. Just.. so many facepalms with this. Would this be easier for you to grasp if you thought of the soviet union like a guy and a girl in an abusive relationship? There is never a clean break up; and you can sure as hell know that the victim will be watching his/her back for ages to come.
The Soviet Union didn't break up that long ago. Anyway, tons of Russians remained behind in the countries that declared their independence because living anywhere but Russia was basically a luxury. There are plenty of Russians in Ukraine and other former soviet states so to say that nobody knows what Russians are like except for Russians is a bit ridiculous.
Burich is an [American] stereotype of a Russian criminal; and as Lingvort mentioned, not really what a Russian criminal looks like.

I feel like this would have been much more amusing if TTG just went "fuck it" and had the voice actors just say random shit in Russian to make it sound scary. They could've said stuff like "I fucking love potatoes"; "I'm wearing women's underwear!"; "I just farted!"; etc. and the english speakers would still be cowering while the russian speakers would be just really.. extremely.. confused.
Since they butchered the Russian language they might as well have gone ahead and done that.
Non-Russian speakers would have for asked the translations, and somebody would have went "WTF? I eat my shoe at my pink roof?" or something like that. They decided not to risk it, but, instead, mess it up differently.

I almost forgot about that, that France is having issues. Are the people still worshiping Hitler with their anti-jew protests? I feel like that got buried under the news after the shit hit the fan in Ukraine all thanks to Russia.

No, it's illegal to call someone's opinion ignorant on THE forums. It's against the rules. And when the fuck did I say you don't know anything about it? Please do say.
Well, telling me that I'm not Russia and therefore don't know anything about it, when it's not true, is pretty ignorant, in my opinion.
Oh, it's illegal now? Then sue me for calling your statements ignorant.
You kept saying "You're not from Russia, so how would you know?" or some stuff similar several times. I've already stated my points above, so I'm not going to repeat them.
No paragraph in "Forum Guidelines" states that you can't voice your opinion over other people's opinion, or that you can't call their statements "ignorant".

Yeah, how would you know if it's a shit accent or not. I didn't say you didn't know about the country in general or anything. You can obviously have an opinion but you where calling my opinion ignorant, so fucking respect it.

Because I know it's a shit accent! Didn't I mention that Russian is my first language? And I live in a place that is largely inhabited by Russian-speaking population. I would fucking know whether it's a shitty accent or not. Case closed!
I'm sorry if I called your opinion ignorant, but try do this in the future - don't make bold statements about people, it can lead to situations like this one.

Because you don't speak Russian. All Russian speakers, who have commented here and on the other threads about it, were complaining about the accents of these bad guys.
But, as themadeiramagician pointed out, only the Russian speakers would have a problem with it. If you don't see the problem with their accents, feel free, but I do see a problem.
Arvo means value in Finnish, and is a name here too, so I nearly assumed that he would've been Finnish or at least Estonian. Anyways yeah I noticed that accent thing, as living in the middle of Russians I heard the difference
Yup. He can say that to Mr. Toad in Episode 4 while that ol' frog is leaving the "Lucky Pawn". Don't remember the exact circumstances, but it can happen.

Hmm, that's interesting. and good reference.
Keep me posted, Rafoli out.

Okay... then. But what's so bad about that guy looking badass?
Well, because he looks like a generic over-exaggerated Russian mobster, with a lot of criminal tattoos on his body. Nothing original, he looks like a walking stereotype of a Russian criminal, than actually a Russian criminal.
Thanks for the translation by the way.![:) :)](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
If you want every phrase, I've been passing a link around, that I found in some other thread: http://pastebin.com/bSAHc09i
Will do, Admiral.

This guy acted pretty dense when I spoke to him, like he kept stating some ignorant stuff on purpose.

At least they're not Italian..
Thanks)
Then quit making Clem "struggle"
I actually saw two tatoos on Buricko's cheeks that said "мочи сук, стукачей" ("kill bitches, narks").

No.
Maybe they're pulling off the russian accent just to seem "bad" or something.

Was that a reference to Rasputin by Boney M?
Well, what a pleasant guy.

Didn't really do shit, I said IMO that the accent wasn't that bad.

It's true, her accent got weak ! Maybe it's because of the people she stayed with? idk
WHAT?
BIGBY?
I thought of the same thing, as I'm Finnish too!![:D :D](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)

And "крысятников" ("мочи,сук,стукачей,крысятников - Russian criminal slang) on the left cheek.
They did the same for Lee too
