Interesting Story about why the counselors at my day camp are hypocritical assholes (warning: this is a rant):
First off, I am not a camper at this camp. I am a CIT (counselor in training). Today, we played a game called World Cup. It's basically a soccer game with a bunch of mini teams of two and three. There were lots of camper teams, and some counselor teams. Me and my two other friends were the members of the only CIT team. Basically whichever team scores a goal gets to sit out for the rest of the round. My team made it through the first round, and the second round was when the interesting things happened.
So, not even 15 seconds into the round, my teammate acquires the ball and passes it to me. I go to pass the ball back but notice a camper coming. So, I go to kick the ball away from the kid. Instead of succeeding, our shins collided, inducing a lot of pain between the two of us. (Note: the kid is in second grade, so his bones obviously aren't as strong.)
So the camper is in pain. First thing I do is kneel down and ask him if he's okay. I'm asked to get up as counselors help them out. There are at least three or four counselors helping them over to a shady area.
So, why am I telling you this?
Well, because I took a nut shot just two days before by a counselor. But, the crazy thing is no counselor asked if I was okay. No counselor asked if I needed any help. They just wanted the soccer ball back and were debating whether or not it was a goal. That same counselor just the same day of the shin colliding incident blamed us for doing a half assed job. We were asked to collect and bringing cones, not put them away. But, she blames us for doing a half assed job.
We have to pay to come to this camp we are supposedly training to become counselors. But we get treated with no respect. The goalie for the World Cup game let the counselors score so we would be out of the game. Whenever we get hurt, they don't care. But when the camper gets hurt, they're all over them. We actually scored a goal that barely went over the goal line, but they didn't call it a goal.
I just needed to get this off my chest. The counselors at this camp are disrespectful, hypocritical, and overall just assholes. You have no respect for the fact that we pay to come to this camp to help out with their stupid little side jobs. In the fun part is, I have to go there for another week later this August. God dammit.
Gosh, I'm so sorry for this mega-rant. I understand if you don't want to put your time and to read this.

I worked with kids too. You have to treat children differently than you would other people. Be gentle, positive, and never try your best at sports with them or get too into it. A kid where I worked got his arm broken by playing with counselors.
They are being jerks, no doubt about that. Try not to take the games too seriously, it's not worth your anger. And the fact that they didn't ask if you were alright just says a lot about what kind of people they are.

Yeah, I love the kids there. They're great, and the young ones are so adorable. Sometimes those counselors are just really annoying. They confuse me. Maybe they just expect us to be more mature and to be able to handle more pain because we're older and have somewhat of a higher rank. They really give no emotions to us at all, as if we're their baggage that can do some small jobs.
Nooo I love rants

Apparently some people hate the fact that I'm back, if there's one thing I learned in life, is to never care about people's opinion. Certainly not if its negative XD
My mom is always asking me how to take selfies, but she's one of those people who take it at that unflattering downward angle. My dad's selfie game is on point though xD

You aren't expected to be treated like a kid in your position. It's weird, suddenly having to act like the adult when you feel like a kid. A little girl at my work asked me "Are you a kid like me or are you a grownup?" and I had no idea what to say besides "both".

I know society puts a lot of pressure on having that Kim K booty, but silicone injections are going a little too far.

My cat took a dump on the bathroom floor like 2 seconds before I wanted to take a shower. -________-

I couldn't care less to be quite honest.
So cheers haters !!
I'm not mad at the second grader. And it does suck. But the counselors pushed me aside without looking at me. And that sucks too.
