I'm sure that makes Walter feel much better about her involvement in the situation.
How do we know Bonnie was tricked at all? The only thing we can say for sure is that she led Carver to the lodge and helped him hold the group hostage, even after being given an entire case of food for literally nothing in return. She knew she was screwing over people who had given her a great deal of food just because she asked, and expected nothing in return. She made the choice to hand them over to Carver anyway. I know Bonnie isn't a bad person, or at least she wasn't back in 400 Days, which is why I'm willing to let her explain herself, but she still shares a huge portion of responsibility for what happened at the lodge.
She screwed up her second chance by joining Carver? You make it sound as if she joined him even though she knew he was a crazy scumbag. Assu… moreming Tavia's part of Carver's group, it seems pretty obvious that it's more like she was tricked into joining him, believing that his group was all good and stuff. She probably followed Carver's orders because he told her that the cabin survivors were evil douchebags, just like how Carver tried to convince Clem not to trust them. Bonnie also probably had no idea Carver was a madman until then either, why else would she be surprised that he killed Walter?
I don't really think following a man who, to her, seemed perfectly reasonable and charismatic at the time, is the same as wasting her second chance at life.
And like others have said, hate is a strong word...
Actually, considering how rational and understanding Walter is, I'm betting he'd have been more than willing to hear Bonnie out. Well, if he wasn't dead...
Anyways, how do we know Bonnie wasn't manipulated then? I mean, like you said, she wasn't a bad person in 400 Days, so it seems more reasonable to assume she still is a decent person who was coerced into doing morally questionable things, rather than she suddenly turned into a heinous villain for no discernible reason.
She's definitely responsible for what happened, at least partly, but my point was that I really doubt Bonnie followed Carver's orders expecting anyone to die. And considering Carver's spiel about how everyone are "brothers and sisters" and that they all "deserve his love" in the preview, I get the feeling Bonnie's had that mantra hammered into her head and made to believe that Carver really wanted what was best for everyone involved, even if he convinced Bonnie the cabin survivors were bad people like I previously suggested. Especially taking into account how he says they "went against the coup" or whatever, but that they "deserve a second chance". Can't remember his exact words.
I'm sure that makes Walter feel much better about her involvement in the situation.

Considering her personality in 400 Days, I do believe that Bonnie will do whatever she's asked to as long as it guarantees her safety/survival. That's why I kinda felt that out off all the characters from 400 Days, her character was the ideal one for what happened in episode 2. However, I get the feeling that the one that's going to get her at the end is Carver, and not Clementine. I'm still going to be an a-hole to her in the next episode :P felt betrayed by Bonnie.
My evaluation of her in Episode 3 is going to depend an awful lot on how she feels about Carver casually shooting Walter. If she isn't expressing doubts and feeling guilty as hell about it, she's a lost cause.
Yeah, that surprised me. For someone as mild-mannered as Alvin, and one of the only people willing to help Clementine, I can't imagine him j… moreust straight up killing someone in cold blood, though. I imagine there's more to the story than what Carver said.
Plus Luke tell us to Lie about Matthew and ... i don't know, it's bad ! I hate how alvin is (telling you to do thing instead him, etc (btw he is die hahaha!) ...), Nick is a Dick, but I kinda like Carlos .. even he has a lot a secret (about the relation between Carver and Rebecca ??). And Poor Sarah ...
How many of you wanna bet that it turns out that Carver's group are the good guys and the cabin group are the bad guys? After all, the previ… moreew for E3 had Bonnie and Clementine working and smiling together so maybe things aren't as black and white as they seem.
She's gonna get a bullet between the eyes the next time Clem gets her hands on a gun. Unless she can prove that she doesn't deserve to die t… morehat is, but she has a lot to do in order to reach that stage. She scouted out the lodge for Carver. Walter is dead, possibly Alvin and Carlos too, because she led that maniac there.
I'm with you ! I think she is scared to be alone and just manipulated by Carver ... I think we gonna do cool thing with her in the next episode et maybe the other 400 days character !
I don't hate her yet. She didn't seem too happy with taking the group hostage, I think Carver is manipulating her. She seemed to be convince… mored rather easily in 400 days, and when I played 400 days (the choices I made as her) she didn't seem like the kind of person that would willingly work with a psychopath like Carver
Don't get me wrong, what she did was extremely messed up but I think Carver is holding something over her head to make her loyal
I don't hate her either but betraying the group crossed the line. I think that Bonnie has a lot of issues to deal with and is easy manipulated but it doesn't excuse her from what she did.
Exactly, and when Walt sees her again after Carver and his group take out the walkers she looks hesitant. And as for Episode 3, she and Clem appear to be bonding a little. I think she will end up helping the group escape and probably join them

Well, I was half joking in my previous post. I'm sorry if it wasn't obvious enough. But I do agree with you about his personality. He's also shown as the manipulative type towards the end back at the cabin.
Im pretty sure once ep3 is around there will be "Official Bonnie is awesome thread" when she turns out to be the person helping Clem in the camp or something. Kinda odd people argue she betrayed someone while she never was part of Cabin group and fallowed orders to report their position as a scout. If its because she took the food you might as well say Kenny is responsible for what happened to strangers family. Its tough times these people live in.
What would you expect her to do, go back to Carver with a box of food and say - didn't found them but some dude gave me this box for no reason. Actually, for all we know thats how it could have been and they only appeared when the shooting started.
I see no reason to hate her just yet.. She didn't seem like a total bitch in 400 days so she might end up being the good person after all.. You never know
She is an idiot! in 400 days i was like, ok she had a rough time, seems she had adiction but well people can change and she proved it! she is nice, but now god i hate her and im gonna get her killed for what she did >:c
It is her fault for what happens at the end of the last 3 episodes (Episodes 2,3, and all of 4 because of her actions for Episode 2).
Sorry but that is the rules I set out. Sarah got the same treatment, you mess up, you are as good as dead to me.
She is more likeable than most in my opinion, I don't hold any grudge, or held any grudge even when she lied to us, she did what she thought was right, that's all anyone can do, there seems to be no right, only wrong.
I hate everything about Bonnie. In 400 days she's weak and is a knowingly lover of a married man. Then next time we see her she tricks us into giving her supplies and then leads Carver to us. After we escape she constantly orders Clementine around and gets upset if she doesn't listen. The last episode she comments she had a thing with Luke (clearly she gets around). Then if you don't go after Luke she blames you the entire time (even though her fat ass is the reason the ice broke in the first place). If you try to apologize she just says "Just cause you're a pretty little girl you think you can get away with anything." Even though through this entire game she's been using Clementine's age as an excuse to get her to do things she wouldn't do. Finally, she robs you and tells Mike to just leave, even after Clem is shot. Also think about it guys, she rather save a Russian teenager who she just met and was trying to get her group killed than an 8 y/o girl who had her back the entire game and a baby whom she "cared" for since episode 4. So screw Bonnie, I hope she dies a painful and lonely death.

Cant wait to see each of you totally backpedal on this later and claim you never really hated Bonnie
I'm sure that makes Walter feel much better about her involvement in the situation.

Fuck Bonnie.

She's a b*tch. When I saw her, I thought she was cool, since she was once a playable character, but then PLOT TWIST.
I'm killing her slowly first change I get.
Personnaly , I just hasted this guy in the second episode ...
Oh we can keep Alvin alive ?
I like this point of view...
The group of Ken was way better !
Carlos is not dead yet ! I think they need a little explanations ...
I'm with you ! I think she is scared to be alone and just manipulated by Carver ... I think we gonna do cool thing with her in the next episode et maybe the other 400 days character !
I don't hate Bonnie, but what she did was pretty unthinkable. I think she can redeem herself, if she chooses to do so.
I don't hate her either but betraying the group crossed the line. I think that Bonnie has a lot of issues to deal with and is easy manipulated but it doesn't excuse her from what she did.

We still don't know the whole situation. I still say that she isn't really working for Carver. I guess we'll find out next episode.
I'm terrible at telling when people are joking on the internet...

we are f*ucking helping her and she ...

fuck her
Probably the only character from 400 days that i dont want to see again
Yeah, which ever choice you pick (either going with Kenny or staying with the others) just get Kenny to not shoot Carver.
What did you expect from an ex-junkie?
"bonnie is just easily manipulated guys"
No. She's an asshole. Unless she personally guns down Carver and frees the group, I'm not forgiving her.
I am caving this junkie bitch's head in first chance I get
on second thought I will throw her to the walkers let her die "nice and slow like"
She fucked everything up!
no such thing as an ex-junkie they are always junkies just not using. Its like an alcoholic not drinking they are still alcoholics
I see no reason to hate her just yet.. She didn't seem like a total bitch in 400 days so she might end up being the good person after all.. You never know
You can keep Alvin alive, if you are with Kenny and you choose [Grab Gun] when at the ice rink.
What's wrong with you darky? For all we know Luke and the others could be the bad people! Alvin did kill somebody before.
I hope in Episode 5 we get to kill her.
It is her fault for what happens at the end of the last 3 episodes (Episodes 2,3, and all of 4 because of her actions for Episode 2).
Sorry but that is the rules I set out. Sarah got the same treatment, you mess up, you are as good as dead to me.
That dirty crack head, no amount of apology will make me forgive her
The only reason I hate her is because she told Carver that the group was at the Ski Lodge.
I don't get why everyone hates her now, I understand before but now she has only done good. She and Mike are my new favorite charachters now.
She is more likeable than most in my opinion, I don't hold any grudge, or held any grudge even when she lied to us, she did what she thought was right, that's all anyone can do, there seems to be no right, only wrong.
Lol Bonnie's a trust worthy character. No reason to hate her unless she tries hurting Clem or the group in 205
b-but
bonnie's adorable
