They always have to sign a nondisclosure agreement to cover their ass so the VA doesn't give anything away. But that doesn't stop them from being vague about it, they just can't outright say anything.
Even if she isn't doing Lilly's voice again, Nicki Rapp is one of my favorite voice actors in gaming. It'd be awesome to hear her voice anything in a telltale game again.

There's at least two interviews out there where Gavin mentioned he had recorded audio for Lilly's return with the RV back in season 1, but then >Telltale cut it for some reason in the last moment.
I haven't said this, actually, because we didn't. I mentioned in an interview that I thought she should come back (still do) and that there was talk about her coming back as she was being written out of Season 1. That didn't happen though... It wasn't cut, it was never recorded. And I have no comment about Nicki's tweet beyond this--she works a lot!
On the subject of tweets and revealing info about games, it's not necessarily a question of NDAs (though I don't believe I've ever signed one for TTG) but it's SUPER bad business to talk about a game you're working on before it's released. It's basically like begging a developer and all the developers they're friends with to never hire you again. It's their product, so it's very uncool to try and steal their thunder by revealing details about it before they do.
can i just ask one thing, didn't u say that nikki had stopped voice acting (maybe im wrong but i think i saw on ur ask.fm page)
so this means she has started it up again recently and lilly is the role shes most known 4 and she expects people to be excited by it so she doesn't 'work a lot' atm if she just stopped

Thank you! She never stopped working! I hope I didn't say that, because it would be very uncool and totally untrue.
She does work a lot, just not in things that wind up on IMDB (which covers a painfully small percentage of VO work and maybe 30% of games). Often times, to get credited on a game, we have to sorta petition IMDB to include our role and that takes time, if it's ever implemented. And if you have to actually make the original listing to get the title included in the first place, it's even more of a mess...
VO work is sometimes sporadic and spotty, so you may not land a gig in a game (reported to IMDB) for a year or two. It doesn't mean you're not working, just that that one website that tracks what folks believe to be the definitive benchmark of work hasn't noticed.
Incidentally, Nicki's work on the Sims that some folks here kinda put down is some of the most difficult, brilliant work in games I've ever heard and was a gig that kept her gainfully employed for many, many years. It bums me out to see folks dismiss that, because it's basically improvising in character, without actual words. It's brutal. Anyhoo, I'll stop ranting, as I know nobody was putting Nicki's awesomeness down...
thanks for visiting forum mr hammon

Totally agree with you. If she's in it it'll be pretty lame.
I had Lee put her back on the R.V. but if you left her by the side of the road how was she supposed to have found the R.V.?
Assuming she knew where they were going (and wanted to go there too) which she didn't seem to want to do, why would she be there at the exact same time etc. etc.
I guess it comes down to the R.V.-centric revenge plot theory.
If Lilly's in it it's going to suck so bad (and then we can expect Lee to make another appearance and then Omid?). It's not like they're the only people in a world the size of a small town.
And why would she be the leader of the Russians. I think she had military experience but...???
God please don't let Lilly be in episode 5, surely the writers have to have more sense than that. It'd just suck so bad.
i know what you mean but maybe it's best Telltale went back to tried and tested methods...with episode 2's finale coming up it's gunna take something huge to put a stamp on season 2,having Lilly return will please a lot of fans, her resentment towards Kenny could boil over into season 3,she could be an enemy of the group,or even something like picking which side to go on,Lilly or Kennys.
She was emotionally broken but still had the hard core to her when she got told to go/took the RV,so im willing to let the writers write her back into it,hopefully we see the Lilly who worked at the base and who is hard as nails.
jesus people its a fucking game
so what if its unrealistic that Clem met Kenny and will probably meet Lily??
As long as the story related to her is good all is good! And in my opinion Lily has plenty of potential in her
left it would be a waste to let her go just because of your pseudo-realism

Comments
i made a thread about lilly and forgiving her if she comes back take a look guys tell me what u think
http://www.telltalegames.com/community/discussion/78895/did-any1-else-feel-sorry-for-lilly
What if Nicki Rapp is voicing a new character in Episode 5 instead of a returning one though? It'd be cool if Lily did make a return too.
rubs hands together
then people wouldn't be specifically excited about who shes voicing like she says they will be in her tweet
This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I would much rather see Lilly than Christa come back.

No I wont. Whats the point in playing if Telltale decides who I choose to kill/save everytime for everyone
I hope shes wearing a beret and army pants and chewing tobacco #LillyHypeEP5
You forgot the big shotgun
ofc! i want her to be with her army buddies,as leader ,and kicking ass.
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD JESUS NO WAY :O
but u didnt choose to kill lilly, you chose to leave her at the side of the road
'ur not coming with us' is not the same thing as 'rot in hell stupid bitch'
she either was abandoned or stole the rv, you never got the chance to kill her
True enough.
i know
Her army!
And her loyal followers
brilliant!
'hatch opens....a dark female figure emerges....'this is a military area'....CLEMENTINE!?!?.......looks at Kenny.....makes moody face

Clem: ''whisper'' Kenny
Kenny: ''whisper'' yes Clementine
Clem: ''whisper'' Do not disagree with her this time
I can see this totally happen lol!
she is very talented

I so read this in Kenny's voice
Even Lilly does not appear this season you and TTG know it will not be a mistake to bring her back the next season

I've been saying that since 103... But what I know and what TTG know and what they actually do are mutually exclusive
oh ok, sorry, i must have got confused with something else
surely the bigger the game the more likely it'll get put on imdb tho
her sims work is awesome i have no idea how she can do it, shes crazy talented
Oke I knew it thanks for the reply
Edit I was just saying that and now I feel awkward
I actualy don't know what to say now LOL
Well you're right :P
