Relax and keep the spirit alive, people!
This forum has been on fire lately with criticism towards Telltale and The Walking Dead. Most notably the, "Shame on you, Telltale" thread by user TT247 and the recent IGN interview about Episode 4.
I'm sure by now Telltale has seen all of the commotion going on and has got a big idea of why so many are angry. All we can do is trust in their judgement from here on out. Shaming and antagonizing Telltale will not accomplish anything, but pressure them and make their work more stressful.
Let us not forget that Telltale does care about making wonderful games for everyone to enjoy. We still invest time in playing their games because we truly love them as well. This is what we need to realize. Episode 5 and Season 3 are on the way and is something we all should be looking forward to. No more wasting time with hating. Please...

I have feeling your about to get hella downvotes for this but I agree with you.
Yep
I don't know why I should. I understand what the "haters" say, but it's time now to move on. This is for the sake of everyone's happiness.
It would be nice if Telltale made a response to our concerns we have been voicing since the beginning of the season, but that hasn't happened as of yet. I agree with you that blind hating needs to stop, but legitimate criticism should not stop. Legitimate criticism is not bad, it is actually helpful, assuming that Telltale is reading the points of people criticizing the game.
Uh what? this is seriously nothing new, and greg just added more to the fire. If that were the case, telltale actually would've done something by episode 3 and actually would've hmm.... replied to US?
I'm certainly not saying that legitimate criticism shouldn't happen when it needs to. But the recent issues have been so worn out that there seems to be just hatred now. All Telltale can do is respond by making promises that many will still find fault with later on. It shouldn't have to be this way.
It's not Telltale's fault that Greg talked a lot. Telltale does reply on this forum when they can if they aren't too busy or caught up in life.
I'm speaking for myself here, but I still love the original Walking Dead game. I had high hopes for Clementine's story, and even now am eager to see how it ends.
But there are a lot of problematic elements in its writing, and the most recent Playing Dead interview has cast Telltale's writers themselves in a less than favorable light. I'm worried about the current direction that TWDG is taking, because it seems like a deliberately cynical rebuttal to the themes of the first Season rather than a believable narrative. A little girl being more competent than adults, Carver being an invincible monster, Kenny coming back from the dead, and so on and so forth. It's becoming more like the comics and that is not a good direction.
It's nice to see Postive people still around.
I agree, but I still enjoyed Season 2 despite it's flaws. Maybe someday, when dissatisfied players replay Season 2 in one sitting after EP5 comes out, they'll see it too. It still has the story driven, immersive feel to it that made Season 1 good and the character's shined when they did. I expect Season 3 to be great too.
Thank you, I'm sick of seeing every other thread titled something like "Really, Telltale??" or "Where [insert noun] Went Wrong!!!1". If people are worried that Telltale hasn't "heard your voice" or something like that, fucking hell I think that if they're listening they've got it by now. I personally haven't had any major problems with this season so far.
I've been thinking about just "pulling a Jane" and leave the forums for a week or two. I don't want to but shit, it's EVERYWHERE. I would like some life put back into these forums. Cause right now, the threads are ripe with stale conversations and pissing matches.
I have a funny ideal for a thread, but I don't know... it'll just get lost in all the "TellTale Suxz" and "Stop Bitchin"threads.
Sigh
[Sigh]
Indeed
I agree. I have said this quite a few times myself
I sure hope Telltale makes it a worthy ending, but hopefull would be a big word at this point. There is always hoping for s3 ofcourse.
Truth be told though, unless these boards by then remove my worries I will not be picking up s3 for full prize.
I love the potentional of the series but not what they have done with it in season 2, so without a change of direction, it will be sometihing I pick up over the steam wintersal of year after it has come out.
Sceptical but hopefull, pretty much sums up my view atm
I'm instantly reminded of this.
Pete : This ain't no rinky dink pissin' match.
Nick: Then what is it?
Pete: FUBAR.
Yes, it's a southern expression if I'm not mistaken.
I believe it's derived from two dogs constantly peeing in the same spot (y'know, to mark their territory) and they just snarl at each other and repeat. Nothing is solved.
Just need to be longer episodes, more hubs and better character developmen. The main issue for me this season is that every episode is exactly the same despite our choices. They dont matter or change like they did in season 1. I was hoping a character like Kenny or say Luke could either like you or hate you like Kenny did or didnt in Season 1.
These are the only things i want to see back. Good story and all but disappointing season sadly
When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.
now i am sad, i liked Nick and Pete.
Agree I do
The man's right. They heard us and now it's time to trust them and let them do their work. I'm sure in the end they won't disappoint and we might even be surprised.
