Does anbody find it sad...
That Season 2 will be over soon? I know there's gonna be a Season 3, but I'll miss being here. And it's gonna be a while before Season 3 hits.

I guess when Borderlands and Game of Thrones come out, I'll be back.
Yeah, It might get a little boring after the finale and after the backlash of it...
I'll still be here to work on my game, and such. But yes it will be quite saddening until Season 3 comes out that is.
What game are you working on?
Couple months ago I would have agreed, now... no.
Why?
The forums is gonna be filled with what happened in Episode 5, then speculations and theories for Season 3 followed by people complaining about why Season 3 is taking so long.
Yeah maybe, I wasn't here when the first Season and 400 Days came out. I joined back in July this year.
The forum and it's users changed... for the worse in my honest opinion.
its
Happens all the time, you can call it "a cycle", if you will.
As nice as Walking Dead is, I'm glad that Telltale is taking a breather for a bit and exploring other universes. If it makes you feel better about the long wait, keep in mind that Telltale working on more episodes and games can be a good thing as that can allow Telltale to hone down the gameplay formula by the time Season 3 hits.
Season 2 had some new control options that were inspired by Wolf Among Us, for instance, with the different dialogue screens and the new way to select things in the environment.
Forum's gonna be filled with a lot of denial for a looooong time if a favorite character dies.
Remember when Lee died?
The clicking mouse thing then moving it in a different direction was annoying and hard to figure out, im pretty sure a lot of people still struggle with it today, i only found out in episode three that you can use WASD to move it in the direction instead of rapidly flipping your mouse all over hoping it will work
I didn't know about this place until July this year, and when I was playing Season 1 I didn't even know they had trailers for each episode.
I wasnt here untill S2E2 hit, what happened when Lee died?
People were in an uproar that Telltale had dared to kill Lee,hate threads and crazy theories on how he had "definitely" survived were spamming the entire forums, people thinking he was immune, and anyone who tried to reason that Lee really died got downvoted to hell. Lol.
It went on for quite some time. It was quite chaotic.
You know, Season 1's ideas started on Lee gets bit and Clem is gone. So TellTale had it out for Lee the whole time.
I swear if Lee was decapited on camera, people back then would still be crafting theories on how he'd lived through it. Haha
Uhh... sure about that? Downvotes weren't even around until Telltale's new site launched last Fall, which was a few months before Walking Dead Season 2 and Wolf Among Us premiered. Back when Lee got bit, the Telltale forums used another forum software that had no voting and no layered comments.
I don't think there is anything ever good with Telltale taking time off of making TWD. Period. But I am just being selfish...
You know, it's actually a good thing that people were in denial about Lee. It just goes to show how good TellTale did to make you care about they're characters.
Wait, you can use the WASD keys on the click and drag? I wasn't aware of that.
I think it would help if they allowed you to drag right away instead of holding the mouse cursor still for a second and then dragging.
My memory isn't that great, but I definitely remember a lot of hate and chaos. I'm sure you do as well, being the moderator.
You had to control all those threads, lol.
Anything else you can tell us about what happened before we came here?
Maybe Telltale could discover the next big thing? Who knows?
After all, had Telltale been content with staying in one place, we would never have gotten Walking Dead in the first place. Telltale has had successful franchises before Walking Dead - granted, not on the same scale, but that's kind of my point - it's good for Telltale to broaden their horizons. If they stick entirely with Walking Dead, they very well might miss out on the opportunity to push the envelope with another game. I'd rather Telltale be known for being good story tellers as opposed to being "the guys who make one of the only good Walking Dead games."
Think back to how people viewed Wolf Among Us prior to when it came out. Despite Wolf Among Us being announced alongside Season One of The Walking Dead, people accused it of delaying Walking Dead: Season Two just because it was another game that dared to so much as even have the nerve to exist alongside Walking Dead. However, once the series came out and people played it over time, people came to openly embrace the game just as they did with the Walking Dead series.
I think you Telltale might just hit gold again with Game of Thrones coming out.
Kenny was hated SO much, that it still surprises me that so many people love him now. It was like a complete turnaround.
Hate threads on Kenny were everywhere. People rarely did playthroughs where they sided 100% with him , so people defending him as a "bro" were almost never seen.
It's gone so fast, in the blink of an eye we're finished.
So there were "Kenny VS Lily" threads just like now there's "Kenny VS Luke" threads? If that's true, Kenny always gets into fights.
Actually, I've only been a moderator since last December. Of course, I've been around the boards prior to being a moderator seeing as how the volunteer moderators are chosen from users who are already on the forums in the first place.
I'm glad I didn't have to moderate the pandemonium back when Lee died, but with this Season - once I was a moderator, I was terrified to moderate the Walking Dead forums once I discovered Kenny returned in Episode 202. I'm curious if Telltale will have the brass to kill off Clementine in the Season Finale. :P
I guess it will be time for crowd control.
The wait for Season 2 caused a lot of users to become unbearably restless - even though they got Walking Dead: 400 Days as a DLC episode. As I said in another post above, Wolf Among Us had some pretty strong bloodlust in it's direction coming from the Walking Dead fan base just because it had the nerve to exist alongside Walking Dead: Season 2. I'm glad that people turned around and gave the game a chance after all. Maybe the same thing will happen with Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones, perhaps.
Oh boy, these stories are pretty interesting to me.
Sad thing is, i really have no intrest in Borderlands and Game Of Thrones.
That very well could happen. I'd rather that Telltale's new fan base discover firsthand that Telltale is not a one trick pony capable only of Walking Dead games. Wolf Among Us was a great start, but sadly people are still skeptical and treat Wolf Among Us as an exception to the rule - which is funny considering that Wolf Among Us is the only other choice/consequence game to go off of so far.
I should go digging into threads when Season 1 didn't even have all it's episodes out yet.
That's probably because you won't let yourself take an intrest
If Game of Thrones or Borderlands has something better, I very well may retire the crowd control bat and replace it with something from one of those games.
Of course, however, Crowd Control is a timeless classic that will always have a place in my heart.
...Wait, why am I talking so deeply about my forum avatar of all things?
You should, I didn't have an intrest in The Wolf Among Us. But I played the first episode and I was hooked.
