Know what would be weird? They could actually be people who've taken the "mingle with the herd" thing a bit too seriously.
Insane people who behave and feed like zombies, as if they belong in there? Sort of like feral people who've gone mad.
1st Wouldn't make sense that other survivors are mixed in a zombie horde is chasing two strangers that soon they will become zombies snack, not even to save them.
2nd Less sense, Marco recently had sanity the only person may have lost his sanity is Ken (but presumed dead). Remember that they came out of the woods into the open field because they were chasing by the walkers.
Walkers can't talk, Robert won't do that, there are 2 options as to what happened:
1) More probable option - people were mixing with the … moreherd and trying to survive that way, maybe they had no other option.
2) He was hearing voices because he may have been losing his sanity, but that's not very likely.
Also, it was nice when I saw Glenn's son is named after Hershel

Kirkman did hint the series could go as far as "aliens". Maybe the thing thats bringing human's back to life are alien organisms that are much like germs/parasites that take over their host. Maybe these alien organisms inside their human host have evolved enough to find out how to use the human brain to speak to each other.
By aliens i dont mean space ship aliens. In theory a space rock could land on earth and introduce an alien organism that can wipe us all out.

The original Night Of The Living Dead had scientists speculating that the dead were rising due to radiation left by a crashed space probe.
I don't think we'll ever get an explanation in the series, but I personally prefer the virus to be of otherworldly origin rather than man-made or natural.
But again that can mean many things like Pride said maybe just cannibals. But come on if walkers just talked that casually you'd think someone else would have heard them too by now.

People snap and go crazy in the Walking Dead literally all the time. No matter how much they interact with the zombies. Rick was talking to his dead wife through a disconnected phone and Michonne saw her dead boyfriend and talked to him. These people are not normal. They are highly traumatized people that are half insane from the terrible things they've seen and had to do and go over the edge all the time. I can totally see Marco snapping and thinking he heard Walker's talking among themselves (despite it already looking like its people walking in the herd)

Does comic Rick know about the trick of walking among herds?
Well, he knows Michonne, right? He certainly doesn't look surprised. If she were there, I imagine she'd be pulling the same poker face.
No, I believe it actually were either really the walkers, or Marco went crazy.
It can't be people blending in with the herd. It was raining so hard that every walker guts cover would be washed away immediatley, leading to the walkers to identify them as humans and snack their asses.
Also, the way they talk is weird:
'Where they go?'
Instead of
'Where did they go?'
The voices spoke like someone who is slowly learning to speak, like a little child. And the speech bubbles had a weird shape, rotting and...walkerish.
Then, Issue 34:
You see a shocked guy, and before him kneels someone. If you look closely, that someone looks like a walker.
But why is he holding his arm, then?
The Issue's name is:
'From Whispers To Screams'
Could it be? The walkers actually could start to feel again?
I'm still very unsure. Maybe Marco just went nuts. But I think this shit is real.
The walkers are evolving. They are a force of nature, and nature always finds a way (JP rip off, I know...)
I doubt that they can talk.
What's much more likely is that there were people with walker guts on walking with the herd, they were talkin… moreg, and Marco and Ken, both exhuasted, with Ken being injured, took it was WTF THEY TALK!?!?!
I have no doubts that whoever is in the herd will be bad news....
Also,
HERSHEL LIVES
I think that's Ganado, Majini and J'avo you're talking about. Zombies never speak in Resident Evil. Return of the Living Dead would be more accurate in your post.

You actually may be right, but since the earlier issues like Vol 1-4 in the letter hacks he constantly noted that we'll find out more about them.
But it could be a child or something in the heard who somehow is able to live among the walkers.
I realize it was raining. The incomplete sentences could be that they didn't want to talk with all the walkers around. Or Marco not really hearing them correctly.
If a group of people used herds as a regular form of travel(to avoid contact with the much larger threat of the living), then they could have found some way so that rain wouldn't wash the scent away.
I disagree that the woman on the cover of 134 looks like a walker. Her skin wasn't rotting, still had all her hair(a lot of walkers are bald now), and had no apparent injuries aside form the one that it would look like Jesus inflicted on her. Then again... No walker guts on her as a disguise.
So it's possible it really could be walkers, but i'm still betting on humans who have found some other way to travel among the dead.
If walkers are evolving, I'll give Kirkman a couple of issues to show that it's a good idea, but otherwise, I'm out. Nope. Talking walkers is a dumb idea. I'll give it 5 issues to convince me otherwise if that is the case by 134.

I havent!Thanks for the information!
no problem

Kinda like Stockholm Syndrome, lol.
It's just a nickname he's a really good fighter also.

They would get infected if they did that
Maybe they're cannibals among the walkers?
Maybe they wanted to approach them in order to save them from the herd? Kinda like Jane saved Clem and Rebecca at EP4?
Looks like the walkers turned into zombies from the Resident Evil series lol

Well Kirkman lied and said the zombies come from aliens so he could get the series going to a publisher....Don't you Unlie now Kirkman >:(

He's always Jesus to me and I prefer to pronounce it like it was a Spanish name.
lolwut
yeah i never call him paul. i had to look up his real because i totally forgot it.
The 1st option is still what's going to happen, probably, I can see people mixing in a herd like they did.
im fine with talking zombies but if they bring aliens into this i'm done with the series

Jesus are you fucking kidding me?!
Notice how they say "Where they go" and "Don't know instead of where did they go or i don't know?
Yeah, he actually was the very first to figure it out. He's done it with Glenn in issue 4 to get supplies from Atlanta.
Ok.... now that makes the Walkers seem ALLOT more terrifying in my opinion.
Sure they can. Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum. Delicioso!
Walker:GET IN MA BELLY
This...is..AWESOME!!!!!!

Brace yourselfs: Intelligent walkers are coming.
But it was raining so hard the cover would have been blown

They aren't zombies they're BOW's also they didn't talk. Nemesis did, but he was a Tyrant.
But there were at least 2 'persons' speaking, and walkers don't spare kids.
And it was still raining
The pAAAIIIINNNN....
Fine then two kids and maybe they know something new that we don't.
idk about walkers talking, it seems kind of stupid and something kirkman wouldn't do, marcos's brain was probably just playing tricks on him

I'm still not convinced it was walkers....
They are now called Talkers.
EDIT: Next time i will read the whole before posting, sorry for doublepost^^"
same.
It seems like ken heard it too
