Cool DLC ideas?

  • EDIT: a character can die, escape under Tavia's rule, or escape freelancing.

    Play as the 400 days guys, and the ones who stayed at camp get a seperate story. The 400 days characters at the community try to escape. A character can either die or escape at the community if the character didnt stay at camp.

    I had a cool idea that I thought about a while back - it doesn't involve any characters from seasons 1 and 2, it's pretty much standalone story (maybe someone familiar could be thrown into the story as a friend or relative of the protagonist).

    I had this idea that you play as a soldier at the beginning of the apocalypse. It starts just before the apocalypse - you are with your family and there are first news of sick people. You are immediately called and have to put on your uniform and report to your officer. People are panicking and are scared and your squad are sent to control situation on the streets. But situation deteriorates fast. Your buddy is bitten and the squad decides what to do (characters pretty much don't know what's going on and that the bite is lethal yet). While that happens, your 2 colleagues are attacked by a few walkers at the same time as family of man, woman and a child are attacked. You decide whether you go do what you're obliged to do (save the helpless people) or go help other soldiers. Then you are sent by your Commanding Officer to the near hospital to oversee evacuation. But when you arrive there, it suddenly turns out that you get orders to kill everyone (patients, nurses, doctors) in the hospital. You're ordered to shoot to kill to stop epidemy from spreading. You have a choice to obey orders or disobey and refuse to take part in this. Your colleague however starts shooting at people in hospital and you can stop him by killing him or just escape. Then you try to find your family. There is more cool moral decisions that could be included there. I think this kind of an episode would be kinda cool :)

  • A DLC that shows how the cabin group came to be and how they escaped from carvers camp would add much need characterization to some the less fleshed out characters and give us more time with characters like Nick and Pete
    I think it could be a great DLC and it would change how I view the cabin members more than likely

  • 400 days joining Caver's group. Caver slowly breaks them down. them slowing coming around to Carver being the killer. And what happens to them dueing last moments of season 2.

    *afternote: even if they turn up in season 3 I not sure if Clementine would trust them, we might not learn more about them since the characters don't want anything to do with them.

    Clem breaks into a clothing store and picks out new clothes to wear. Whichever items get chosen the most often by the players Clem will wear next season. Also.. other stuff happens.
