Sure the context was different, but the characters IN THE SLIDE were in the episode in season 1. And why would they spoil? Probably to get us discussing.
The train, the sewers and Christa all ended up existing.
But the context was always different. What did people expect to happen in t… morehis episode judging by the slide? It's true I got the impression this episode would be very dark, or at the very least something pretty horrible would happen during the ending of episode three looking at it, but when you look at how episode 4 started, the slide along with the title does make sense.
The blood is self-explanatory, this is how they escaped from the walkers at Carver's camp(the ruins). Now for the characters in the background, the fact that Doug is one of the characters further proves that Eddie being there is just a placeholder. Why would they even spoil his appearance in the episode slide?
What are you talking about? He can either be left behind by Wyatt or leave Wyatt, him stashing drugs and lying makes sense for his character, Telltale has fallen victim to rewrites before and it wouldn't surprise me in any way that that Arvo was originally going to be Eddie.
if they would have replaced arvo with eddie and just bandits with russians and give us a choise either to kill eddie or not,it would have been a very hard decision for me.
Everyone thought Rebecca would go into labour in episode 3 judging from the slide and she didn't until episode 4 SO I'm hoping that means things got pushed back for whatever reason and Eddie and the 400 days characters will still make an appearance in the last episode. Otherwise what was the point of 400 days? All it really did was introduce us to Bonnie. (Who I love but if that's the only connection, why have all these extra characters in the first place if there just used for throwaway cameos?)
Everytime somebody says "It's a placeholder" a kitten dies.
His jacket doesn't have a hood on it, so his model was at the very least altered.
Seriously, it was most likely a rewrite.
Eddie was probably Arvo and replaced because TTG knew that they wouldn't steal Eddie's pills because we know him and don't want to be dicks.
That wasn't their vision however. How do I know this? Because even if you DON'T steal the pills, you still get robbed (for a shit reason "Jane stole his gun") They want the story to follow a very linear way (in all honestly the stealing option is ultimately pointless, as is every choice).
It's the same story for the cutting the arm off choice. I didn't cut the arm off but a majority did, and Kenny will still get mad and say "It was better if you did nothing!" ... What? It was better if I just let her get eaten alive?
Telltale want to stay linear and try to attract a more casual audience with more action themed gameplay and nothing is more generic or casual than a bunch of 'EVIL' Russians. The writing this episode was just awful though, and in a way I'm sort of glad Eddie wasn't apart of this episode just because I know they would butcher his character.
Not sure why anyone likes the 400 days characters. i like Bonnie because I got to see more of her in Ep4, But the other 400 days character didn't give you enough time to know them well.

We dont really know that.... i understand Walker blood is darker but it looks like it is just the lighting and even if its not she still had blood on her face in episode 4. I also never stated anything about the hat.
We don't know that.
For all we know, he could have done hardcore drugs. Ok, he probably wouldn't be in as good of a condition in 400 Days, but it isn't impossible.

He was not canned he was simply just a placeholder.
Arvo most likely replaced him.

He was canned and replaced by Arvo, it's pretty obvious.
How is it obvious? It doesn't make any sense him being so close to Wyatt..
Wait....really?
Eddie was funny but he was a pothead and would of gotton bitten anyway lmao

yeah its totally true, i do not lie. Check out this link for proof. A detailed interview with Eddie about him losing his job.
She did put blood on her face. In episode 3 when Clem and the group went through the herd.
We don't know that.

True Eddie believers would visit me.

I never said that 400 Days was a waste of time.
She did have blood on her face....
Thats not true, Clementine did infact have blood on her face.
that was human blood. also she never took off the hat.
I think he was just a placeholder, or he'll be in the next episode.
Too many drug/alcohol references.
