Skippable credits for Season 3

I know who made the game. Besides, you can quit the game anyway.

  • What, skip the credits and miss the beautiful credits song that changes every episode?

    NEVER.

  • 'Besides, you can quit the game anyway'

    Then just do that?

  • Why not make it a bit more user friendly from the get go? I didn't play S2 from the 1st episode. So when I did start playing I went through 4 episodes and I had to quit the game 4 times to skip credits.

  • Because literally everyone I've met apart from you enjoys listening to the music.

There's no point making features that only a fraction of people care about when there's already a way to avoid them in the first place.

Not to mention, you don't know the full list of people who made the game because that usually changes a little per episode. It's respectful to watch the credits.

  • But...that music is so beautiful ;_;

  • They probably forgot. No real point in adding it back in.

They had that feature in S1, but they didn't bring it back. Not that I liked it, but it was there.

  • I wait until the end to see the staff pet names (I'm not even shitting you).

  • But.. but.. the music!

Besides, people have reported that their choices aren't properly saved sometimes when they quit during credits.

  • I co-sign the OP to an extent. First play through I always watch the credits out of respect and for the music. But after that first time it loses its novelty and I don't need to see the credits again. I already know who made the game, and the music always ends up on the internet in one way or another. It should at least be an option to skip them (and yes, quitting the game during the credits does cause saving issues sometimes)

Telltale: You don't like seeing the names of our pets anymore?Alt text What did Pickle ever do to you?

  • I agree to an extent.

On the first playthrough, I always watch them. Always.

But on the second and then the third playthrough, it gets annoying.

It should be possible to skip them after your first playthrough.

And if you love them so much, then just go to 'Credits' in the menu and watch them.

  • Telltale should just add some bloopers to the credits. Then everybody'd watch.

  • Yeah but that might take away from the experience of playing the episode. Although that'd be a cool thing to unlock.

  • You can simply quit the game afterwards if you don't want to listen to the nice song. Plus the Telltale credits are always very short, that criticism is a tinsy bit too nitpicky in my opinion.

  • I guess I'm the only one who doesn't really like the credit songs.

What, skip the credits and miss the beautiful credits song that changes every episode? NEVER.

  • I do because during season 1 episode 5 I didn't wanna hear the music, I was too busy sulking in my room... I remember that day like yesterday

  • Wolf among us had skippable credits, so I can't see why they couldn't make the walking dead credits skippable.

  • You can wait over a month for a new episode to release, but you can't wait 5 minutes for the credits to finish?

  • The Wolf Among Us' ones were rather generic and the same thing all 5 times. After beating a TWD episode listening to that wonderful music is somewhat part of the reward.

I was even disappointed Cry Wolf didn't have a different end credits theme.

Like it or not, TTG Should Leave it up to the player to decide, just like Season 1. It's a minor issue of S2 that I've never really spoken of.

  • The credits give me more emotions after an episode, I WANT THEM!!

  • Season Three is 100% confirmed as of SDCC.

  • Agreed on repeat playthroughs its annoying to just mute the tv and leave for five minutes.

  • The credits and song are a great part! Who wants to skip them?

  • I don't particularly like watching credits for anything.....in a game, a show or movie.....whatever None of the TWD credit music seemed all that special to me. I consider it just background noise for those annoying credits.

I've always been more of a end-result (game content) type of guy as opposed to caring about the politics behind it (credits, interviews, programming, etc.). So it's like, I can praise the people who made it, but I don't really care to know their names. Hell, I have a hard time remembering the names of most of the characters in the game, let alone a bunch of faceless programmers. I consider watching credits in the same league as paying attention to commercials......that is, something to avoid if possible.

I would rather skip the credits or be allowed to fast forward them. As it is, I just shut my headphones off and go do stuff around the house while the credits roll anyway.

  • On the first playthrough, I like to watch the credits and spend the time thinking about the episode. On my second, third and fourth playthroughs, I've already watched the credits so I use it as a drink break before I go on to play the next episode :P

Not sure what to really think about the credits music but I would think a great intro theme at the beginning of each episode would be cool kind of like how The Wolf Among Us had a sweet musical score at the start of each episode. I loved Season One's end credits theme because it was perfectly fitting for the game. Season Two to me had worse music at the end except for episode 3 I thought theme at the end of episode 3 was simply beautiful. But the majority of Season Two with all the other episode #s 1,2,&4 thus far had uninteresting credits music. I'm hoping episode 5 will be the best of them all.

  • I wish we could have skipped them in season 1 because they were always the same song apart from the finale but this season they use really nice songs. I like it this season because the credits sort of give you time to reflect.

I prefer wolf among us music more than the walking dead, so it was good to me.
