Before all against the "Rewind", Now everybody rewind the final... WTF!?

I have noticed that many people were opposed to the "Rewind", because it breaking the spirit of the game, which is to choose our choices in the moment, the emotion, in what we felt at that moment ....

Now most of the people who got the final with Jane (from what I read 90% sure) decided to rewind and save Kenny.

I would like to say: I know it's hard, but it's the game! Also it happened to me, I made my choice, I thought that Jane was right, but I'm not going to replay the final just because with Kenny you get the best ending! The game is based on our choices, not on what can happen!

  • Not surprised. Jane ending and Clem alone ending are absolute garbage

  • Exactly you people need to stick with your choices I regret killing Kenny and not going to Wellington but I'm sticking with Jane.Imagine if it was in real .
    life.

  • I would love to do it too, believe me .....

But then you feel 1000 times worse to know that you changed your choice, trust me .... xD

Not surprised. Jane ending and Clem alone ending are absolute garbage

  • I would usually agree with you but this game has been with me for almost 3 years... And me and Kenny felt like ancient friends.. I shot a confused and broken man all over a lie from Jane.. I can't live with that... So I "changed" history for my Clem and I'm glad I did.. She is much happier at wellington or with Kenny. Sometimes being with your friends is more worthwhile to me.

  • I didn't rewind...i just did the complete alternative on another save file

    Save File 1- My choices

    Save file 2- Alt choices

    Save file 3- Muted Clem

  • I understand how u felt, really...

But now tell me, how do u feel to change your first choice? I mean, I think it's 1000 times worse to know that you changed a choice that you felt in that moment....

  • Neh no rewinds, rewinds are for the weak.

  • I don't rewind, I use alt saves for alt choices. :)

i was never against the rewind but i never used it once but after getting that ending with jane and after hearing about kenny's ending i had to go back and make that ending a part of my main playthrough but i put janes ending in my 2nd playthrough and i have no regrets the kenny ending is so much better in nearly every way i don't even know why i killed kenny in the first place tbh it does not seem like something I would do

  • While I do not rewind until I finished an episode to make some alternate choices (before another full playthrough) it's the players choice if they want to use that function right away. If they want to use it, so be it. Why should I care if they use it. It's their choice. Not mine.

  • I didn't replay the ending, and I got arguable the "worst" ending. I got the "alone" ending. I personally didn't hate it, but it was a weird scene to end on.

  • Meh, Its my game, If i want Clem to be happy with Kenny then I will make it happen.

  • i haven't even played an alt choice game yet, i just can't bring myself to kill kenny, there are some things in most of my alt choice playthroughs that i just can't do differently, but usually it doesn't matter to much, but the kill or not kill kenny choice is a big game changer.

  • I only replayed it because my choices weren't shown, and I wanted to see the statistics. And then I realised that killing Jane gives you a cooler ending and more choices.

If the third season continues at the end of the 2nd though I will play with the alone ending that I originally chose, and I expect some extra choices because currently I feel cheated out of a better ending.

  • I'm happy with deciding to go with Jane and accept the people in. I feel like it was the right choice. Being with Kenny is just a typical "I've known you for longer" choice that most people make.

  • I wasn't happy with my ending with Jane but I refuse to rewind, because that's the choice I made and thats the choice I live with. I have an alternate save for evil playthrough and another alternate save for perfect playthrough

  • I saved Kenny. It was obvious all Jane wanted to do was push Kenny so that she could kill him. Going to play two more playthroughs to get the other two endings.

  • Jane ending isn't garbage !!

Anyway Kenny is a russian mountain, when the episode is ending, he's top, i let you thinking when he will be.. bot !

Not surprised. Jane ending and Clem alone ending are absolute garbage

  • Clem and Jane alone ? You didn't miss the baby ^^ ?

I'm against rewinding, whatever happens in the moment happens, no backsies. I couldn't bring myself to look away, even if I love Kenny more than Jane, and I didn't regret it. I left Jane, my Clementine doesn't do that shit, but I regretted it after hearing what she was saying while I walked away. I got the logical, but no feels or even CHOICES ending. It sucked.

I don't regret my decision over shooting Kenny and abandoning Jane the first time around. Jane got her point across just fine. But the fact she lied and manipulated the situation in order to push a man to the edge intentionally? A man whose known to be violent, and even crowbar'd Carver to a bloody mess? Was kind of poking a bear-with-a-stick-level stupid. But she didn't deserve to die for it. And I wasn't going to let Kenny become a murderer. But I wasn't going to let Jane manipulate Clementine anymore than she had. That ending I got for following my logic....didn't feel satisfying when I compared it to the other two. Even if it was badass.

    1. I killed Kenny and left Jane. The ending while badass kind of felt unfulfilled to me, even if it implied Clementine can take care of herself.
    2. Rewinded to see the other endings. And decided to kill Jane first, because that trick of hers was such a horrible thing to do. She pretended to be a babykiller/accidental lost a child. Greatly enjoyed Wellington ending.
    3. Spared Jane this time. Community was interesting, but reused models/ugly kid was kind of weird. Liked it nonetheless.
  • I wanted to kill Kenny since Season 1 because he was a loose cannon from the first episode on and always did seriously retarded stuff. I never understood why anyone would like that guy. He was unreasonable and only predictable in the sense that he will go off for absurd reasons. That's the guy I would NEVER ever want to have with me on a zombie apocalypse and I'm glad they put Jane into the game as a renegade-ish character with a deep rooted and indisputable sense for discerning the idealistic good behavior from stuff that needs to be done. If she, a person who prefers to be on her own, decides to join up with you, then you can trust her until the very end and that's the exact reason why she is far superior to any redneck nutjob with a stupid trucker cap.

  • Shows how good the episode was. I got two different save files waiting for Season 3 now. :)
