It was heavily implied that Troy was a sexual predator. He was obviously a sadist. It's not hard to picture him doing things deserving of being shot through his junk.
At this point Kenny fans are being hated on more than the people that don't like him. Just because you don't like Kenny, doesn't mean you have to hate on people that do.
You're always going on about how you're hated on, when in truth you're one of the biggest haters on here. Every post I see you make is hating on Kenny, and his fans. There's no reason to get mad just because some people like Kenny.
Because they've known him for longer which apparently makes someone likable (nostalgia goggles and all that) and the writers are biased towa… morerds Kenny, so he gets loads of fanservice.
Also, on the forum you're hated if you don't like Kenny, so I bet lots of people just like him to fit in.
Kenny bandwagoning. It's what led to the creation of the KDB, a year ago. Luckily they disbanded a few weeks ago when downvotes were removed, but a few still plague the forums with intolerance.
People like Kenny because a loyal guy and his intentions are good. If you picked his ending you saw his true colors without his PTSD kicking in. Plus unlike Jane we known Kenny a lot longer. Plus he has his good sides and his faults that make him seem real.
He wouldn't listen? He said after the fight when they found the baby that she could've stopped the fight at any time by saying the baby was in the truck, she WANTED to fight, thinking that Clementine would help her. That is SUPER messed up in my opinion.
I shot Kenny and it wasnt because I didnt like him. It was because he was trying to commit a murder. He was in a blind rage and was not list… moreening to anyone. If he had listened, he would have found out that she didn't kill the baby. What she was saying was it was an accident. What disgusts me is the thought that someone could look away while that was happening. As for the role he took on, someone else could have filled it, most likely Nick. I felt like Kenny's story did need to be wrapped up for good, either by death or by walking away which seems to be what has happened in both cases.
I went off Kenny in episode 4 and was annoyed when he yelled at Clementine, but after episode 5 I liked him more! His ending is so sad and I really respected him after that, I didn't like him being so harsh on Arvo (even though he ended up being right about Arvo being dangerous) and it seems like he is loosing it but, I have to respect him for what he did for Clementine and the baby
Jane didn't hate Kenny. She actually felt sorry for him and wanted Clem to get to him. She even said that he’s in a dark place and that he needs a drink the most during the „birthday party”. In fact nobody in the group hated him, they were simply afraid of his actions that put everyone in danger. It’s Luke’s death and what followed, Kenny beating the kiddo, his obsession to progress further north, that made Bonnie and Mike leave. And as it turned out, they were right trying to convince him to turn back as Wellington was overcrowded and short on supplies.
Also, Jane never intended to kill Kenny, she was not a murderer. She just wanted to prove her point, not to cause a death match and fight for her life.
And using the term "hating on (blank)" is very biased. It assumes that the person that shows a difference of opinion to you is doing so only to stir the pot. I can tell you for a fact that I genuinely dislike Kenny, some of it is personal biased, most is evidence I've stacked up against him since way back in S1E2. And the fact that some of the more outspoken Kenny supporters are so damn stubborn and arrogant that it's a wonder people like Flog61 and I are still vocal about our distaste for Kenny and are still able to argue our points. Even knowing it won't do shit.
You said it in the first sentence. He's a well written and very complex character. He feels like a real person and someone a lot of people can relate with. There are some people who will find him appaling and that's life. There's never been a person whose been liked by 100% of people. It's not possible. But there's so much going on with Kenny that it's hard to hate him whole heartedly because there's probably something about him you can relate to.
Personally, I don't know about everyone, but I find it fairly easy to hate a character, but extremely hard to hate a real person. You just have a scene with a guy beating on a kid, yeah I can easily hate that character. But if you were friends with that person in real life and you'd been through hell for years, you realize that A is happening because of B because of C because of D and so forth. So even when that person is doing something considered evil, you can understand their reasoning for it, and that makes it hard to hate him.
Basically, by making him out to be such a complicated character, the people who really relate to him are very attached to him cause they see themselves in the character and they see a real friend. And the people who don't agree with his actions, still find it hard to hate him because it's incredibly difficult to hate another human being, especially one you've seen the good in.
If the writers had given the same respect to the other characters, we wouldn't be seeing so many hate threads.
Uhm..Jane left her little sister to die. I think that pretty much illustrates her personality and what to expect from her in a moment of crisis. Kenny may be a douche, but he'd never give up on family (Clementine included at this point)
Jane outright advocates leaving a young girl behind in Episode 4 which I doubt Kenny would have done in that same scenario. As much of an unstable person Kenny is. He is far more reliable than Jane is.

What are you talking about? Second account?

I like Kenny because I made choices based on what I would do and they always seemed to be what Kenny would do. So I guess if Kenny was an asshole then we were assholes together.
The same Kenny that advocated leaving Ben to die, the same Kenny that was about to leave Lee to die when walkers pinned him down under the door, the same Kenny that was against putting a woman that was being eaten alive out of her misery, the same Kenny that was first to give up on Lee when he got bit? Seems legit. That Jane is a true biatch indeed.

She didnt want Kenny to be dead. She wanted Clementine to see what a violent, dangerous person he was, the reason he scared off everyone else. Clementine was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because of their history and Jane was trying to make her see past that. It was Kenny who took it to that fatal extreme.
It was their choice to fight over it. Involving Clem felt very stupid. Jane chose to lie and cause a fight. Kenny chose to react. They are b… moreoth are fault but I feel Kenny had more reason to do what he did than Jane. Jane even admitted "I did it so you would come with me." She wanted Kenny to be dead and that's ridiculous. She tried to play Clem's emotions to get what she wanted. That isn't caring for Clem. That's caring for herself.
He wouldn't listen? He said after the fight when they found the baby that she could've stopped the fight at any time by saying the baby was … morein the truck, she WANTED to fight, thinking that Clementine would help her. That is SUPER messed up in my opinion.
You forgot Shawn from episode 1. Its true, everyone has done the same horrible things to some degree. Kenny has made a habit of leaving people to die but it seems people forget that.

I like Kenny so much because he's always been a constant for me. I knew through all the anger and grief, Kenny would never abandon Clem. He would never fuck her over to save his own hide. Something that I can't say for the other characters. (looking at you Mike, Bonnie, and Arvo) And in the end, he always did right by me, as far back as the Lee days, and up 'til now. People seem to hate Kenny so much because of his generally abrasive attitude towards everyone, save for his loved ones. I honestly do not see the problem with only wanting to look out for the ones you love, especially given that they are in the middle of an apocalypse, and you have no way of knowing who is trustworthy. I suppose I can understand why many of you would want to continue being good samaritans, giving people the benefit of the doubt, and always doing the morally right thing. My truth is that you can't expect to be rewarded for being morally correct/overly trusting, or expect the same treatment in return, especially in the apocalypse. Because in the end, these new people you've helped out might seem nice, but will turn on you in a second to save their own asses (smh Mike, Bonnie, and Arvo). My truth is that the only people you can truly trust is family, and that's what Clem and Kenny were to one another. With family, you lash out at one another, and take out your anger and grief on each other, but in the end, you have each other's backs. You never leave family behind, and the whole group (save for possibly Luke, we'll never know about that though) is willing to fuck Clem over and leave her behind, so they obviously didn't see her as family. Kenny underneath all the anger and abrasiveness is a genuinely good man, and would do anything to save his loved ones, an admirable trait in anyone. He'll even beg the people at Wellington to not take him in, but to please save the little girl and baby, because they're innocent, and Kenny will sacrifice everything to protect Clem and AJ. Because they are his family. I don't deny that Kenny has his flaws, but I put all my trust in him since Clem first came across him in the lodge, and he never let her down. It's a shame that so many people can't or won't see what I see in Kenny.
I love the guy because he's real and human. He makes mistakes, sure, but deep down he has a heart of gold. He regrets things he has done and doesn't make excuses. He's a fallible character and a complicated one at that. He's been through so much (more than anyone could take, I imagine). As far as I'm concerned, he is the one of the best characters ever created in video games, along with Clem and Lee.
No, he really seems to hate Kenny like hell. Look at his other posts.
I don't hate anyone who doesn't like Kenny, and so do most other Kenny fans. Please. Some Lilly fans weren't better, but there were less of them in the first place.
Also, on the forum you're hated if you don't like Kenny
Ugh.. I really feel the opposite for some reason. It probably goes both ways I guess.
I really don't hate people who don't like Kenny. What annoys me is the fact that there are a ton of people out there who will hate Kenny no matter what he does. Their bias is just as bad as the most loyal Kenny fans.

He left Shawn because he was too worried about his family. It wasn't right, but he just made a silly mistake in the moment. And I mean, that was at the very start of the apocalypse so its kind of understandable. It also ate him up inside for over 50% of season one. He had a ton of guilt.
You forgot Shawn from episode 1. Its true, everyone has done the same horrible things to some degree. Kenny has made a habit of leaving people to die but it seems people forget that.

That makes no sense. Are you like her second account?

Because his character flaws are well-written and make more sense than most of the cast.
I like Kenny because he makes me laugh.
I know Kenny is a douche.

I'm sure Sarita had said that to herself when she first did the "kissing stuff" with Kenny

Its the hat. The hat is the source of his power.
Jane outright advocates leaving a young girl behind in Episode 4 which I doubt Kenny would have done in that same scenario. As much of an unstable person Kenny is. He is far more reliable than Jane is.
You don't know what you're talking about. Flog admits hating kenny.
Ok, why is that a bad thing? Go ahead, educate me...
I like Kenny because I made choices based on what I would do and they always seemed to be what Kenny would do. So I guess if Kenny was an asshole then we were assholes together.

He didnt say that in my playthrough.
I can only agree.

Kenny is so awesome
So did Carver.

MAFEELZ
I like Kenny from season 1.
Kenny from season 2 scares me.
You didn't need to personally insult me...
Like, say you disagree with me sure but saying 'people don't like you'..
That's actually quite hurtful and unnecessarily rude.
Thanks for making me feel like shit, though. That doesn't happen often enough.
Ugh.. I really feel the opposite for some reason. It probably goes both ways I guess.

Firstly, I'm a he, not a she.
Secondly, no I don't have a second account.
And they really aren't that terrible of flaws. Everyone loves to over exaggerate.
You fear the beard, not the man.
Double post.
He left Shawn because he was too worried about his family. It wasn't right, but he just made a silly mistake in the moment. And I mean, that was at the very start of the apocalypse so its kind of understandable. It also ate him up inside for over 50% of season one. He had a ton of guilt.
I hate season two Kenny. I LOVE season 1 Kenny as a character.
This is a pretty good way to sum it up.
Honestly.. why is this even a question? There are plenty of reasons for someone to like the guy.
It's just the counter-attack. We're not just gonna sit on our asses and accept Kenny fans' BS of stating their opinions as facts.
Kenny is a good guy. For me he and Clem are the soul of Walking Dead.![:) :)](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
