I had Mike pegged as a good guy and couldn't believe how fake he was when trying to steal all our shit. I should have relied on my first impression of him. Jane was just insane for provoking Kenny like that. She paid with her life.
Even though I hate Arvo, I can understand his anger. Bonnie jacked me but seemed disgusted with Mike once Clem got shot. She probably just ran because she knew Kenny would murder her.
It especially hurts because I actually liked her, but after what she did, just no. Never. If I had the chance I would try to save her life though, she didn't need to die, but considering someone had to die....
I'm not even a Kenny fanboy, never was and probably never will be (I probably have disliked him more than liked him), but that doesn't even matter, because it's not about who was the target of her plan, it was the plan itself and the situation in which she decided to do it. She could have done it to a completely random character that I didn't care and I would still be mad as hell because you just do not do something like that, especially when your group is in shambles and you're in the middle of a blizzard with walkers close by. Your only thought in a situation like that should be survival, not playing mind games for God's sake. This alone shows how fucked up that whole plan was.
And I completely disagree with people saying she proved her point. In my opinion she proved nothing. NOTHING. If she elaborated a little plan regarding some minor thing that would probably irritate Kenny just a bit and Kenny would lose his mind and beat her up, then ok, she proved her point, because in this scenario Kenny completely overreacted and physically attacked her over a pretty minor and petty thing. But lying about the death of a baby that Kenny loved immensely and was one of the only people Kenny still lived for is EXTREME, especially just a few days after Kenny lost Sarita. 90% of the human race, if they were in Kenny's position, with his backstory and all that, taking into consideration his distrust regarding Jane would have acted the same way.
Not to mention that if the roles were reversed and it was Kenny coming up with those mind games in order to get rid of Jane, pretty much everyone that are ok with what Jane did would be asking for his head because it was Kenny the loose cannon who did it. Double standards.
Honorable mentions to Arvo, Mike and Bonnie. I still don't know how I managed to feel sorry for Arvo during Episode 5 after everything that happened, and I'm one of those people who feels empathy and pity for lots of people/bad guys with only a few rare exceptions, but this guy, just wow... I encountered him, convinced Jane to not rob him and let him go and he repays me by assaulting my group, trying to rob us with plans to probably kill us after it, we defend ourselves, and kill them because it's either us or them, and he's mad at me? His sister's death is completely on him and his group, they attacked first, they asked for it. If they hadn't sought trouble and just let us pass, no one would have died. And this guy has the nerve to blame Clementine. He never once blamed himself, it was always some other person's fault. And he shot a child after she put her gun down. Piece of shit. Hate to say it, but it is what it is.
Mike and Bonnie, no words, pretty self-explanatory. Stole ALL the supplies and were trying to run away on the vehicle that Kenny managed to fix, it wasn't even them who fixed the car. Despicable cowards. At least Bonnie showed some compassion, but still... No excuses. You just don't do something like that.
You know what's the biggest irony of it all? Everyone thought that Kenny was the one who would eventually destroy the group (and he probably would), but in the end it was Mike, Bonnie and Jane who did things that Kenny never did and who therefore contributed way more to the group's destruction.
Unbelievable that I, of all the people, am defending Kenny to this extent.
Arvo. I tried to side with him in every damn occasion from the very first time I met him...and he just shot me. I don't mind Mike and Bonnie...I can actually understand their reasons.
Arvo. Everything that happened in this episode is because Clem took some painkillers or Jane took his gun. Grow the fuck up, Arvo.
Oh and Jane returning was stupid. They could've got Christa, Lily, Molly, Anna Correa, Nate, 400 Days crew, Carvers people, new person, Chet, Officer Mitchell, St john brothers, etc.
All they needed was a character to knife Vitali. It had to be Jane, though. Even though I stayed at Parkers Run for a few days, Jane is still magically still in the area. Such bull shit. Plot convineince..
I guarantee that it was Pierre shorette that fucked this episode. Just get nick to write it, not the guy who butchered the season.
WELL SAID...about others...
that's the biggest irony..... Jane was the biggest contradictor of them all..... going lone wolf to i'm with you guys type of bullshit.
and now..."fuck you kenny, i'ma show clem what you are all about."
Definitely to Jane.
It especially hurts because I actually liked her, but after what she did, just no. Never. If I had the chance I would… more try to save her life though, she didn't need to die, but considering someone had to die....

Mike & Bonnie wanted to get away from Kenny, he saw him as dangerous, after Luke died he beat the crap out of him. They kept him tied up like he was a animal. i understand why they have compassion for arvo. That being said, i wasn't mad that they left, i don't blame Mike or Bonnie for what happened,.
Jane and Arvo however can go fuck themselves. Jane tried to manipulate me into killing one of my best friends in this game. Arvo was the cause for luke's demise.
Shit, wait, wait. I can understand the dislike towards Bonnie, Mike, Jane, and Arvo. And Kenny, to an extent. But where the fuck are the 'Fuck yous' for Carver?? Have we all forgotten how much of an asshole that guy was? It's like you people just totally expelled the shit Carver did from your minds.

Bonnie deserves it more than ANYONE.. She gets Luke
killed if you cover him and act like a total bitch afterwards.
I can understand though, she had feelings for him...
Still, she was rude to my Clem and I didn't like it lol

I fully agree with you. Probably Mike, I wanted Arvo dead the minute I saw him again and knew he would do something bad. I never trusted Bonnie from Day 1... or Day 221 or whatever. Jane, comes a close second. But Mike, I trusted him, but he took Arvo's side too many times and I wasn't shocked to see him trying to escape with Arvo, but I didn't think he'd just leave Clem to die.
I'd agree with that, but, after what she did to try and get Clem to turn against Kenny and go with her, then I still say fuck you, because that was really low and just wrong.

You know how we've been calling Mike for leaving Clem, well if Bonnie blames you for Luke's death, then BONNIE will want tot go and MIKE will stop to check on Clem. Mike still leaves and doesn't seem as bothered as Bonnie.
I vote Arvo, Mike and Bonnie. I can't decide which one of these I hate the most.
Jane, because I actually liked her, and I felt so betrayed when she pulled this "either him or me" shit. Even if she believed she was doing it for my own good, I thought she respected me enough to accept that I didn't want to leave Kenny behind as I had already told her, and not force my hand.
I have no idea if Kenny and her could have coexisted much longer, probably not, but she took on herself to abort any chance of improvement and, worst of all, manipulated me. Bonnie and Mike's betrayal pissed me off but did not hit me so hard in the feelings because I did not care much about them, whereas what Jane did hurt me more because I trusted her.
My vote goes to Vitalli. If he hadn't shot Luke then maybe he wouldn't have drowned. That way he could probably make it to the end and we wouldn't have to kill Kenny or watch him kill Jane. Everyone would be happy! Fuck you Vitalli.
Yes, and anyway, I think a lot of people are more mad at people they trusted and who betrayed them than at people they expect to hurt them in the first place.
Or perhaps it's just me, but I know that's how I work.
"Mike, you son of a biiiiiitch, I'm fucking freeeeeeeeeeeeeezziiiiiiing. If I get the chance I'm going to kill the fuck out of you. I'm going to kill you to death."
During the stealing-truck scene:
"OH yisss, I can now shoot that son of--- OH CAME ON."
When Clementine was freezing to death he was more worried about Arvo's stupid bruises. And what's more important, he was ready to leave her … morewithout any supplies to practically die AFTER she got his ass from Carver's camp -> which is the reason why he's leaving in the first place. I cannot forgive him ever.
Comments
Luke? He didn't do anything wrong in this episode. Surely you must be talking about Mike, right?
Dies. You have an option to ask about it to Kenny and Jane which they will respond he died.
Mike and Jane.
I had Mike pegged as a good guy and couldn't believe how fake he was when trying to steal all our shit. I should have relied on my first impression of him. Jane was just insane for provoking Kenny like that. She paid with her life.

Wow. So even Mike could have had a determinant death. Still, do you know why they changed it?
I feel like becoming an astronaut (I realize it's a joke).
Definitely to Jane.

No. Probably they didn't think Mike would suit a determinant character.
Kenny and Jane!
I was most pissed at Bonnie. I know she was grieving but for fuck's sake CLEM DID HER BEST as in: exactly what Luke told her to do...
heh heh heh.
Everyone except for Kenny, Luke, and AJ this ep gets metric fucktons of Fuck Yous.
Arvo. I tried to side with him in every damn occasion from the very first time I met him...and he just shot me. I don't mind Mike and Bonnie...I can actually understand their reasons.

bonnie didn't do shit...she had clem open the door in the museum and now..bonnie blamed her because clem didn't go save luke. (depending on choice).
JANE, JANE, JANE, JANE, JANE, JANE
AND JANE.
Good guy koban4max
I understand why everyone did what they did.
Mike & Bonnie wanted to get away from Kenny, he saw him as dangerous, after Luke died he beat the crap out of him. They kept him tied up like he was a animal. i understand why they have compassion for arvo. That being said, i wasn't mad that they left, i don't blame Mike or Bonnie for what happened,.

true....but these members in the group are the worst of the worst.
Bonnie deserves it more than ANYONE.. She gets Luke

I can understand though, she had feelings for him...
Still, she was rude to my Clem and I didn't like it lol
Mike, Bonnie, Arvo and Jane.
This thread is about episode 5, not the whole season in general.
Ah, my mistake. I apologize, good sir. Jumping the gun, lol.
Biggest F--- you goes to Arvo.
Runner ups are Bonnie and Mike.
Doesn't Jane get some love for letting the family in if you stay silent?
Like, surely that shows she's getting more trusting and warm? ;-;
I fully agree with you. Probably Mike, I wanted Arvo dead the minute I saw him again and knew he would do something bad. I never trusted Bonnie from Day 1... or Day 221 or whatever. Yeah, well who hasn't done something wrong in this world.
She apologises and admits it was stupid, which is good enough for me.
Arvo deserves the biggest:
Guys I've just found out,
You know how we've been calling Mike for leaving Clem, well if Bonnie blames you for Luke's death, then BONNIE will want tot go and MIKE will stop to check on Clem. Mike still leaves and doesn't seem as bothered as Bonnie.

Agreed.
Haha sorry yeah, its mike not luke. Thanks!
Congradulation to ARVO: seems like you got the biggest fuck you award...
OH YESS.
OH MAH LOWD YEEEEEEEEEEES.
Yeah, I noticed too.
"Mike, you son of a biiiiiitch, I'm fucking freeeeeeeeeeeeeezziiiiiiing. If I get the chance I'm going to kill the fuck out of you. I'm going to kill you to death."
