I could say that Kenny-fans just searching any little thing to go against jane
all the reasons to go against Jane were put right on my screen by Telltale.
I'm not saying it's not biased or immature. I'm saying if someone is coming in with an argument they put some thought into it shouldn't matter because they aren't just being a "hater." The only times when the word bothers me are when it's used to shut down a healthy debate or when it's use is an excuse to ignore the entirety of what someone is arguing.
This is now the fourth thread I've read that has used "hater" in the title to explain someone's (for the most part) rational distaste for Ke… morenny.
Guess how many threads I've seen that have used "Jane haters" as a term against Kenny supporters? You guessed it, zero. Doesn't that seem kind of biased to you?
Enlighten me, you say Kenny's a loose canon, what danger was he leading Clementine into? Lets look at Jane's genius plan again. She left the baby in the car that only she knew about, she was seconds away from death, she could've saved herself and the baby by telling truth. If she died, what do you think would've happened to baby Alvie as Kenny & Clementine believed he was dead? Starved to Death or Eaten Alive. Still want to ignore these details and believe the baby was safe as the magic car would've took care of him if things went bad? Still think I made that up? What part of this do you think is OK?
They wanted to go south, yeah OK why didn't they say this before? Kenny already decided that they should go to Wellington and the group followed until 3 nights later they change their minds and say "Lets head to Texas" or "I wanna go back to the place that was overrun with Zombies". And did Mike, Bonnie & Jane predict the future and see Wellington have a full community and are not accepting any members?
Kenny cares about the baby, why is that bad again? and putting people in danger for that baby? now you're making stuff up. I've seen a lot of Kenny haters bring up Jane saving Clem on the lake and not Kenny and so automatically it means he didn't give a shit about her? first of all that is a weak & unfair argument, Jane was closer than Kenny so of course she would save her. If you want to talk about the present state, Kenny took a beating for a little girl and helped a pregnant woman give birth to a healthy baby, he has not done anything to make me believe he was a threat to anybody in his group or do anything to be labeled Carver 2.0. The only time he went crazy was because Jane pushed him that far but I suppose if Jane poked a hornets and they attacked, you'd think the hornets are loose canons or is it because she was stupid & reckless. And since you agree with her actions, I take it you also agreed with The Stranger's action of believing Lee Everett was an evil person when he didn't know the guy just like Jane didn't know Kenny but assumed she knew him better than anyone else.
Yes, it wasn't about proving, it was about Clem realizing that Kenny has become a loose cannon and it's dangerous to keep following him. Tha… moret baby was never in danger, you guy keep making that up. Kenny is perfectly responsible for splitting the group, after all he was the only one that wanted to go to Wellington, while the rest wanted to go South. That was the whole reason. They wouldn't have been accepted in Wellington anyway, so what would they have done then?
Kenny lost it, he had an obsession with a baby that wasn't even his and put everyone in jeopardy for that baby. He didn't give a shit about anyone else. He didn't save Clem on the lake, Jane did. He preferred to punch Arvo.
Jane was by the far the most level headed person in that group beside Clem. It doesn't matter what good Kenny has done in the past, it was all about his present state and how he became a threat to everyone, including himself (he even admits that when you shoot him...jeez).
We didn't have to search for anything. Jane implies that AJ is dead, knowing that Kenny would snap on her, because she wanted Clem to turn on Kenny and come with her. She's manipulative, and a liar. There isn't anything I hate more in a person than those two traits.
Dude no...I could say that Kenny-fans just searching any little thing to go against jane. And that there just take kenny because they are Ke… morenny fans. Just stop to think most of the people who went with jane, did it because they hate him. And STOP to tell everyone it's better to not shot kenny. It's a personal decision. I fcking loved Kenny and the whole season on his side...but I cant watch him murder him someone. It really destroyed me but I stay to my decision. So stop telling that it was the wrong one, it makes me so mad
She pulls a knife on him. It's different if she was defending herself with her fists, but as soon as she put the knife into the equation she… more crossed a line even after she puts it away. It's enough to say loudly with her actions that she has intent to kill. From that point on it's not about the baby or if he's acting too violent, but about them not getting killed by the other.
Why do people keep starting war threads? This has been said in numerous threads and it always becomes a hate fest on both sides on this forum. People acting like others picking different endings is wrong when we've asked for more choice branching. Debating is better than arguing guys
Jane didn't plan to fight Kenny to death, that's the whole point why it wasn't dangerous for the baby. She had to make a decision to get Clem away from Kenny or to leave Clem with him. She didn't expect him to be that loose, but he was and she underestimated him.
They didn't go south initially because they were ambushed by the russians (remember?) and then they were led by Arvo who promised food (because they were running low). The choice to go back to Howe, Texas, Wellington or wherever didn't even come up until they had a functional car because they never would have had the supplies to go there by foot. They didn't even know what Wellington actually was about and if they will be safe there, so it was more rational to go back to Howe or south in general (because of the climate). It's not hard to see that they thought of it as the obsessive illusion of a madman.
I didn't say it's bad that Kenny cares about the baby, I said he didn't care about anything else (my Kenny shot Rebecca with ease after she turned, cold even without flinching). After the baby was born, everything Kenny did was for the baby only, no matter how stupid and irrational because he got obsessed with it.
The lake scene is especially enlightening because he preferred to run behind Arvo to beat the shit out of him instead of caring about Clem or any other group member (not even the baby). What's the deal if that cripple boy runs away in that situation? They were at the supposed house with supplies anyway. Kenny didn't give a shit because he was fully engaged in rage mode.
I never said that he was Carver 2.0 as Carver was a much different person more interested in building up stable groups (with violence and fear) instead of splitting them. He actually thought a lot about group integrity, although his behavior was obviously questionable.
I just say that Kenny turned into an unpredictable madman that is driven by emotional outbursts that will kill innocent people sooner or later. That's what Jane saw and everyone else, including (my) Clem, as well. At this point it doesn't matter what Kenny may have been in the past or how much good he has done, because in his present state he was dangerous.

Jane doesnt care about the group. She has shown time and time again she does care about the group, despite that she knows she shouldn't.
*She helps Rebecca with the zombie heard, despite knowing it could get them all three killed.
*She saved Clem from the ice at the price of possibly losing her arm or her life.
*She is willing to jump down and try to save Sarah from the zombies.
*By wanting to go back to Howe she was trying to do what was best for Clem and Aj (as she knew for a fact that baby formula was there).
*She came and saved the group when she heard gunshots, despite that she had to kill a man (which obviously upset her) and could have died herself.
To say Jane is heartless and cares onlty for herself due to the fact that she left Clem once, in a time Clem was safe, I may add, is wrong. We can't say "Janes out for number one!" because she SAYS this and because the one time she left. She's shown time and time again she isn't, actually out for number one. We could easily say Kenny was out for number one because even though he cares and says he isn't, he hasn't done a thing to prove to us this, or that. My point with this is: Kenny did things out of fear, why is it only okay when Kenny does it and not Jane?
Just as I don't hate Kenny for killing Larry, or being unwilling to kill Duck, or the numerous other mistakes he's made "because he was hurt", surly, I won't hate Jane for the one or two mistakes she made out of fear. Saying and doing are very different things, Jane's actions speak as loud as her words, this is why I do trust her with my life. Kenny is a good friend, he tries his hardest, but I still wouldn't trust him with my life, not because he's a bad person, but because he's obviously very broken. He wants to protect Clem and the group, but more often than not his focus is somewhere it doesn't have to be.
Well said....! Jane is, and always has been out for number one, I dont undertand how people are blind to that fact.
Kenny is a good man, wh… moreo sometimes makes bad decisions - which eat at him piece by piece as we have seen and continue to see. Yet he ALWAYS has the good of the group at heart, and it hurts him when people side against him. Because hes trying to do whats right.
Jane doesnt care about the group. She cares about Jane. Shes willing to leave people behind. Sarah, the entire group, then Clementine and Kenny.
That is not someone you can trust your life with
Yes, there is a difference, but it was also a different situation. My point stands that she herself did not give the killing blow, she let the zombies do it. Like it or not, that's different on the psyche. I have studied psychology, both criminal and normal. I'm not saying it wasn't wrong, I'm saying it's different. Fight that point all you want, it doesn't change the fact.
I replied earlier but only used a tag with @ :P, then I realized you wouldn't be able to see that. Oops on me.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...Do you really think that if she said that the baby was fine Kenny would have believed her? When they got to the house he randomly started beating on Arvo because he assumed there weren't any supplies in the house, even though there were; then, when Jane says that the baby died and says it's an accident, he starts beating on her because he assumes she killed AJ.
She could have said at any time, that the baby was alive, she had so many opportunities, but she threw away her life for a petty dispute. I … morelet Kenny kill her because I thought she had killed the baby. Also, after Jane actively tries to kill Kenny, throwing Clementine to the ground and trying to murder him.
Haha. Everyone loved the Batman animated series (least I hope!). I liked a lot of Batman things, simple point, Batman is amazing. Superman needs to GIT.
I loved the Batman the animated series, lol who cares about the TWD at this point, my favorite one is when Bruce wayne gets put in that hot box, and he fights that huge fat guy who tries to throw a turkey leg at batman.
jane did admit she did it beacuse she wanted to be with clem and to get him killed i think look even if u hate kenny hes the right choice u learn that hes like lee but with a way worse temper and dont even say its not true hopefully the people that hated kenny started to like him
If Lee was under the impression that Jane left AJ to die/killed AJ he would. Especially if he knew Jane like the group and Clem did. She goes on about how she's only out to save herself numerous times, she implies that Rebecca should get rid of the baby, she leaves Sarah to possibly get eaten, she leaves her sister to get eaten(I understood why she did this, but on the surface this looks really bad, and I don't think Lee would ever do something like that), and then she leaves the group and Clem after the catastrophe that went down at the observatory. She's fickle, and she's not above manipulating others to get what she wants/save herself. I'm fairly sure that Lee would lose it on her too, because it'd be hard to believe that AJ died by accident, given her track record.
I get tired of seeing all these comments of people saying that she was trying to brainwash Clementine, when if you disagree with Kenny's plans at any point he doesn't listen, he insults you, he threatens you a la "I oughta slap you right now!", and he just becomes more and more unstable. Jane wasn't planning to sabotage him from the start, she was just acknowledging his problems unlike everyone else; plus at the beginning of this episode she talks to you about how they need to make things right with him. Throughout his entire lifespan in The Walking Dead, he's proven himself to be one of the most volatile characters, and while Jane was unstable, because of your encouragement, she improves. If she hadn't developed or changed at all for as long as she's been with us, maybe I'd see to why people wanna go with Kenny instead, but since she's clearly capable of changing for the better where Kenny is not, it doesn't really make sense to me.
Exactly. Kenny "haters" have lost all credibility to me. They will always see Kenny in a bad light, no matter what actually happens in the game.
That's a silly thing to say. That could be said about anyone. People have different moralities and different opinions. Telltale obviously was making it so some people would like Jane and others would like Kenny. They didn't want want all the facts on the screen or in clear view. All the hate you feel for Jane and all the facts you see, just as many people see against Kenny. That's something we all have to understand.

i have a fact for the guys who still think shooting kenny is a good idea remember before the fight goes Jane said exactly "No matter what happens just stay out of it."

You are absolutely right. Jane was always thinking herself first and others second. Kenny was always thinking others first and it showed already during the season 1. Yes he is a hot headed redneck asshole sometimes but he always cares about the people who show him to be trustworthy. What finally really shifted my allegiance to Kenny in the last episode was the talk when Clem tried to get Jane and Kenny to join others at the fire. Jane really showed what kind of person she is at there. And I was really feeling sorry for taking the sip of rum from her. Even there Kenny was thinking the best of Clem like he always have. A great guy, little short tempered but a good one. And Arvo really deserved the asskicking he got from him. And again it was Kenny who was right about who to trust...

I agree with you. What some supporters of Kenny dont seem to understand is that because you do something good doesnt completely erase everything else. Isnt the point of Kenny being that he is such a complex character who goes to each extreme? Why do I not have credibility because I dont forgive Kenny for everything? I know he has done some good things, like they all have, but he has done a lot of things that I take issue with and I feel like the point of Kenny's character this season was to see him escalate to the breaking point, and then be redeemed in the end.

She still pushed him over the line and into insanity by purposefully endangering AJ. That's straight up wrong. Just as wrong as Kenny losing his mind and trying to kill her.
Jane started this shit and clearly said to clem to don't get involved and kenny maybe said "you made the right choice " to clem so she won't feel gulty ; Why would he make that ? simply because he love clem as lee loved her , you doubt it check wellington ending
Imagine you was Lee in s1 and clem shot you 'cause (idk) you put someone she liked ( like her dad) in danger and she shot you and you have 3 choice of dialogues before you die what would you choose between : "Why clem ? I don.... I don't understand " "How could you clem , i trusted you " and "you made what you had to .... You made the right choice clem"
Kenny Choosed the third one And that just shows how much he loved her , My point is that kenny never been a bad guy , he's been a jerk but not a monster , and i understand why he was angry , he tought she left the baby to save her skin , and was so angry that he didn't listen to her when she said " it was an accident " or maybe he tought she said that to save her skin , i don't know you can't be in someone's toughts.
Actually everyone I see who is against Kenny is stubborn (they refuse to accept any opinion other than theirs) hot tempered (they're usually rude to any pro Kenny forumer and resort to using insults) and not violent but perfectly unpleasant people.
He is the most realistically written person in the game. And yes. If I went through what Kenny had been through. Yes. I'd probably be like him. As would most of us here, as much as everyone denies it.
At least I have the ability to look at every side of the discussion and look at it rationally. Have the grace to admit that I am not infallible and would likely make the same.mistakes in the same situation.
Are you like Kenny? Are you as stubborn, pigheaded, impulsive, hot-tempered and violent as he is? Unless you are, I dont even see how you would do the same things he has done in spite of how much you defend him?

It doesn't makes it any better, looking at the self-centered, manipulative background jane had even if it did was an accident, you couldn't … morereally know for sure if she was saying the truth or she just left the baby there as bait to save herself from zombies.
Im guessing the possible death of AJ was not that big on some players because the baby was only in the game for 2 episodes, but im pretty sure if it was clem instead of the baby you would've shot jane no questions asked.
Kenny has done allot more bad than Jane, all Jane did was lie to Kenny about the baby which he became quickly attached to, while Kenny wanted to kill Ben, he made false accusations towards Luke and Jane, he let his anger cloud his judgement on multiple occasions, he stole from other survivors, he wanted Lee to let a girl suffer, he practically acted as though he was the leader of the groups, he was only nice to people who sided with him and his family, he beats Arvo up to an inch of his life and bullies him throughout the early parts of the episode which was before Clementine got shot, he killed Jane when he didn't need to and became too overprotective over the baby, Kenny has done good too, but the point is that we know Kenny has done more bad than Jane, and we know for a fact that Jane isn't someone who kills for pleasure or revenge, while Kenny killed for his own intentions.
She still pushed him over the line and into insanity by purposefully endangering AJ. That's straight up wrong. Just as wrong as Kenny losing his mind and trying to kill her.
We'll never know since that's not how the story goes... you can't keep saying what if it was... IT WASN'T! You can't compare Clementine to AJ, you can't compare Lee to Kenny, they are all different, if Lee was alive, I don't think that Clementine would've even met Jane, Kenny again or Luke.
Actually no! He's never hidden the fact that he doesn't like her. But he's left Clem to make her own decisions with Jane. Jane outright trie… mores to brainwash Clem into thinking Kenny is a bad guy. And provokes him...nd keeps provoking until she finally gets a violent reaction.
And I'd like to think that most of you here would act the way he did when he thoughts she'd killed a baby. Or would you just let it go?
I am intrigued though. How do you think he provoked Jane?
I've said it before and I'll say it again...Do you really think that if she said that the baby was fine Kenny would have believed her? When … morethey got to the house he randomly started beating on Arvo because he assumed there weren't any supplies in the house, even though there were; then, when Jane says that the baby died and says it's an accident, he starts beating on her because he assumes she killed AJ.
After Kenny accused her of being selfish and mocked her for her decision to be left alone.
Jane asks Clementine to bring Kenny back from the dark side, she even said that she likes Kenny and thinks that he's a good guy while Kenny is the first person to keep talking about how Jane is a bad influence and how she needs to learn respect despite the fact that Kenny was practically bullying Arvo to death, when Arvo didn't have any blood on his hands.
But Jane purposely aggravated Kenny's madness, it makes no sense to provoke someone like that especially if you know they are not in the most stable mindset. I doubt she even cared if Clem was getting through to Kenny, her intentions were not pure in the least. There is no other explanation, she wanted Kenny to lose it so she could get rid of him, and have Clem and the baby. In order to get what she wanted, she concocted a deceitful plan, and manipulated both Clem and Kenny. As far as I'm concerned, Jane is a lying snake.

Haha. Everyone loved the Batman animated series (least I hope!). I liked a lot of Batman things, simple point, Batman is amazing. Superman needs to GIT.
jane did admit she did it beacuse she wanted to be with clem and to get him killed i think look even if u hate kenny hes the right choice u learn that hes like lee but with a way worse temper and dont even say its not true hopefully the people that hated kenny started to like him
If Lee was under the impression that Jane left AJ to die/killed AJ he would.
And Kenny says "You made the right choice" when you shoot him.
Since you like Kenny, listen to him.
Since you like Jane , listen to her. * kenny glare *
I think you meant to reply to Belan, not me.
This is very possible! Lool.
Preach it brother Preach it
I agree with you.
Whats your point?
Totally agree. Any way you look at it they both were insane. You just had to chose which one you'd rather be with.
Kenny wanted to have sex with Luke too
Jane started this shit and clearly said to clem to don't get involved and kenny maybe said "you made the right choice " to clem so she won't feel gulty ; Why would he make that ? simply because he love clem as lee loved her , you doubt it check wellington ending
After TELLTALE killed Luke I did everything possible to kill Kenny.
Because she knew it was a Death Match and that Kenny wasn't backing down. She didn't want Clementine to get hurt.
No, Kenny did. When the episode started she had hope that Clementine could reach Kenny and stop his madness.
Kenny constantly prove that wrong.
Wrong, she was always putting Clementine first.
I easily knew what Jane was playing at, I could see it in her expression and I could hear it in her words, I guess it's not that easy for everyone.
Except Jane didn't kill the baby, she only hid it, why would I get mad at Jane for hiding Clementine from someone who could be a danger to her?
She gave Kenny multiple chances to stop the fight, but he let his anger cloud his actions.
Jane sticks up for Clementine and respects ALL of her decisions.
And whose to say that Kenny wouldn't hurt Clementine if she was the one who lost AJ?
