It's not a trap, he was about to commit murder over, as far as you know, was an accident.
He had to be put down and if you have any respect for Kenny you would shoot him because Kenny would NEVER want to be like Lily/Carver.
Doesn't mean Jane deserved to die in order for that to happen either.
If you've got two people on a scene fighting, one of whom wants to die at that time, one of whom doesn't, and the one who wants to die is about to kill the one who does want to die, surely circumstantially it's more kind to both parties to prevent said murder from occurring by any means necessary?
I wouldn't like to have you around if I ever go through depression.
"Leave me alone, I just wanna die...
BANG !
-That's what he wan… moreted. He told me."
In my playthrough where I saved Kenny and went with him to Wellington (and left with him), he sure did not want to die anymore and seemed to enjoy life. Sometimes you feel like shit and like you deserve to die, doesn't mean you can't get better and enjoy life again.
For those of us who didn't shoot Kenny, who stayed at Wellington? (I couldn't bring myself to leave Kenny and didn't want to have another Lee scenario)
I agree.. I didn't know during the fight the truth.. If i knew it the decision would have been easier to make, but thankfully i didn't shoot Kenny. I don't like being lied to.. and it was fucking stupid and risky from Jane.
I never rewinded and I'm happy with all my decisions, I ended up as I wanted even though I fucked up some times, I don't like to rewind because it's obviously not the same as the first choice, the real choice.
Here we go again.... A person do a choice, then it watch other finals, and then he regret...
You did your choice!! U can't just blame you… morerself only cause u did a choice! The final you got is your final!
Final with Kenny is happy final? Who Cares! I left with Jane and i don't regret nothing, cause i like her so much and i did my choice!
For those of us who didn't shoot Kenny, who stayed at Wellington? (I couldn't bring myself to leave Kenny and didn't want to have another Lee scenario)
Whoa calm down guy, people can change their minds if they want.
A lot of people were disappointed with the lackluster Jane or Alone endin… moregs and felt shortchanged or that they made a mistake.
That's perfectly understandable. Those endings are bad.
If they want the good one, they can stick with Kenny.
Ain't rewinding shit. The Washington camp may be like the whole Tavia's group ordeal. What if the Washington camp sucks? Kenny's ending soon… more becomes one of the worst, even if you leave with him; Jane and Clementine without the family in a warehouse full of supplies is the best - it's a clean slate for the both of them without being alone and without being on square one - make a group of the best of the best. Baby's allowed. Time to do what other's couldn't. LET'S GO!
This reminds me of Season 1, when Ben asked to be dropped. Some people said Ben was being heroic. Ben was depressed because he had lost a lot of people and because he kept making mistakes. Then Kenny blamed him so much that Ben felt worthless and just wanted to die. If you save Ben, later Ben stands up to Kenny and actually seems like he wants to live.
I wonder if the people who feel Ben died a heroic death also feel that Kenny died a heroic death. Both said they wanted to die.
Anyway, I'm not happy about shooting Kenny, but Kenny was about to murder Jane. Shooting him was the right thing to do. It wasn't the right choice because Kenny said he was ok dying, but because it was the only way to stop the murder.

Because we don't know it's pure manipulation at that point.
I personally felt confident that I understood what Jane was doing when she immediately went to Clem after Kenny left and started insisting that she had to trust her, and that she was going to see "what he really is". It didn't seem like she was talking about trusting her about what happened with the baby either, as she never mentioned it or tried to explain herself (even went point blank asked). At this point I didn't have an idea if the baby was alive or not, but I strongly thought she was pushing some sort of agenda. It turns out that was what she was doing.
I don't blame anyone who didn't feel the same way at the time. They fell into Jane's manipulation as well. That's part of what I'm talking about when I say the people who shot Kenny were confused. When it came to Jane escalating the fight through lethal measures, I completely made up my mind on who I was going to back.
And Kenny turned it into a fight to the death. Jane sheathed her knife and looked like she was finished, then Kenny rammed her into the window.
I don't see how she possibly could have been finished as she really hadn't done much to prove her point. Regardless, Kenny being physical with her doesn't mean he was trying to fight her to the death. He wasn't doing anything lethal. He simply had her pinned to the wall, just like he did to Mike back in Episode Three. If he wanted to kill her there, he easily could have. It would have been easy to subdue her. He was clearly in control of her for a long time. He could have thrown her into the ground, he could have choked her like Lee did to the stranger, he could have delivered head butts, ect. All he did though was hold her against the wall.
Remember, Jane' intention was not to kill Kenny. It was to make Clem realise what he would do if someone ACTUALLY lost the baby.
But that was just a silly way to go about doing that. Jane's actions were extremely shady, that is pretty much undeniable. She didn't try explaining herself or try calming him down, because that went against the agenda. She might as well have just told Kenny that she killed the baby, because her actions implied it. If it was truly an accident, she would explain what happened.
Plus Kenny would never think that Clem murdered the baby. It wasn't fair to just force this situation upon Kenny anyway. Don't you agree that it was pretty messed up?
I don't think Kenny fans lack understanding. I just think we're different people which explains our different reactions to the events. I'm not so unbelievably arrogant that I believable my view is the 'correct' one and that other people's choices are only because they 'don't understand.'. You're like some religious zealot who's trying to 'enlighten' us. We've made up our minds, and we have actually thought about the decision. We can to a different conclusion than you. That's fine, that's life. Don't try to make it sound like your view is the only correct one. That's a true dick move.
Then there is no point in having discussion. Seriously, what is the point in you being so passionate and active in expressing your own view points if you don't think you are personally correct? If you're fine with other people having other opinions, then why are you wasting your time trying to convince them otherwise? It doesn't make any logical sense.
I have seen you call out other people who pretend like Kenny has no flaws. You clearly think you're correct in thinking that Kenny has flaws, and lets be honest, you do not think there is an argument for thinking that Kenny is a flawless man. There is nothing wrong with this. You simply disagree and feel like you have enough to prove your points. It doesn't have to be a bad thing. I have no intention of being obstinate/ obtuse/ arrogant/ rude when I say I really feel like killing Kenny here is a really unfair thing to do.
Because we don't know it's pure manipulation at that point.
You're metagaming.
And Kenny turned it into a fight to the death. Jane she… moreathed her knife and looked like she was finished, then Kenny rammed her into the window.
Remember, Jane' intention was not to kill Kenny. It was to make Clem realise what he would do if someone ACTUALLY lost the baby.
On the respect thing, perhaps it wasn't you. But regardless, you're not respecting people's choices. Please do.
I don't think Kenny fans lack understanding. I just think we're different people which explains our different reactions to the events

Jane also had plenty of chances to tell Kenny that AJ was alive, and yet she refused to say anything. She wanted Kenny to think that AJ was dead, because she knew he would lose it. Her goal being to have Clem see the true Kenny, well, we also saw the true Jane, and she's far uglier on the inside than Kenny is imo. Jane lies and she manipulates. At least with Kenny you know he'll always be straight with you, and will tell you the truth.
I never rewind, but to say that people who do have no self respect with their choices? Seriously, get off your high horse.
Rewinders have no sense of self-respect with their own choices and are metagaming.
Did you not see that Kenny started the fight and that Jane gave him multiple chances to back down and he refused?
By doing something terrible to him to make him do something terrible in return? This was the only time Kenny ever manifested himself as a direct threat to a group member, and it took heavy manipulation to pull it off.
Your opinion, I don't think so. In my playthrough of both season 1 and 2 Kenny has been dangerous in many ways: refusing to help the other members of the group just because they didn't agree with him, pretending that a bitten Duck was okay, going crazy with the whole "we need a boat" thing, getting drunk when Lee wasn't there and someone had to check on Clem, encouraging Lee to kill Ben, refusing to go with the others and look for Clem just because he didn't like Lee, shooting at Carver's men when they had taken the whole group as hostages, trying to instigate a suicide-war with Carver's men after the truck's ride, fighting with Luke (or anybody else when Luke isn't there) when the group needed to stay together, acting as he was the leader when nobody chose him as such and causing Mike and Bonnie' s decision to steal everything and leave., yelling to Jane and Clem while he was driving a car in a place filled with zombies.
Jane wasn't just trying to prove something either, she was trying to kill him. Not at first, but as the fight went along she was the one who decided to turn the fight into a battle to the death.
At any point during the fight she could have admitted to Kenny that the baby was still alive in the truck. She wanted to fight.
Again, your opinion. I watched the whole scene, and I had the impression that Jane didn't use all of her skills during the fight, while Kenny did. Oh and right then he was totally crazy, do you really think that he would have believed Jane if she said "HE'S ALIVE; JUST STOP THIS!!!"? No. Kenny would have thought that was just an excuse she came up with to save her own life.
Nope. Because he knows Clem would never intentionally kill a baby. Jane though..? Would you really put it past her? Based on the knowledge that we have of her, it isn't far fetched to think she tossed it away because it was a liability to the group.
As umbr44 wrote, she didn't say she killed Aj, it looked like an accident. And I trusted Jane and knew she would't do such a thing, I understood her plan from what she said to Clem before the fight started, it was easy to understand what was really going on if you just focused on those words.
Yeah, if you manipulate him into thinking you killed his kid. That should definitely be on the list on what not to do to anyone ever under any circumstance.
As I wrote, that wasn't the first time that I considered Kenny a danger, or that he tried to kill/get someone killed. It's the f*cking apoclaypse, there's nothing weird if a newborn baby dies in a world filled with zombies during a blizzard. That's not a good reason to kill someone. And that wasn't Kenny's kid, btw.
Kenny was the threat because he was dangerous, and that's what Jane was trying to prove:
By doing something terrible to him to make … morehim do something terrible in return? This was the only time Kenny ever manifested himself as a direct threat to a group member, and it took heavy manipulation to pull it off. Jane wasn't just trying to prove something either, she was trying to kill him. Not at first, but as the fight went along she was the one who decided to turn the fight into a battle to the death.
At any point during the fight she could have admitted to Kenny that the baby was still alive in the truck. She wanted to fight.
what if Clem was the one returning without the baby, saying that he was dead? He would have probably reacted the same way.
Nope. Because he knows Clem would never intentionally kill a baby. Jane though..? Would you really put it past her? Based on the knowledge that we have of her, it isn't far fetch… [view original content]
So guys... I would just like to toss out the idea that it is entirely possible that Kenny survived Clementine's shot. We don't really know that he died there for sure...
Why ? Who made those rules ?
One's game is one's experience. People can enjoy their own game like they f*cking want.
I was blessed wit… moreh achieving the best ending I could dream of from my first play, but if I had shot Kenny and found out Jane's bluff, you can bet I would have rewinded in a heartbeat. And neither you nor anybody wouldn't have had any say in the matter.
If it really was another Crawford or run by someone like Carver they could've just shot Kenny and Clem on the spot and taken their stuff; and they sure as hell wouldn't have given them supplies and let them on their merry way. Just because these camps have turned out awful in the past doesn't mean they're always bad. It doesn't make sense to say that because the camps we've seen before have been bad, they all are.
Right, and what's to say Wellington isn't another Crawford or run by another Carver? Did you see those walls? They're meant not to keep the dead out but the living.
I got this same ending too. I was crying after this scene especially when Kenny gives clem his hat and says I'm glad I met you Clementine. But the reason why i stayed at wellington is different to yours. I stopped because both Lee and Kenny wanted clem to be safe along with the baby, especially after 2 seasons I think it was about time for Clem to have a safe place to be. Anyway I love kenny for ever he will be missed. I just don't think we will see good ol' Kenny again .
I stayed at wellington.
I love Kenny, but... he scares me a little sometimes.
Man, i cried like a baby when he said "I'm real glad to have met you, Clementine."
Goodbye Ken.
Just shut up! You are being very bipolar. First you're saying that Kenny's choice isn't right and is just "lesser evil" and now you are saying it's just a choice? Make up your mind and stop treating your opinion as if it is a fact. No internet cookie for you. T^T
Kenny wasn't insane he's just overprotective. His reaction was completely justified, anyone in his position would react the same. I think even Lee would.
I wouldn't like to have you around if I ever go through depression.
"Leave me alone, I just wanna die...
BANG !

I was devastated at shooting Kenny, that the situation had gotten so bad that it was a choice between killing the closest thing my Clem had left to family, or letting him murder her friend. Definitely a heart-breaking choice.
Telltale did well in delivering an emotional ending selection that was different from Season 1's. Though I was slightly peeved that saving Jane means automatically going with her back to Carver's.
I love kenny, we got on in season 1 and I just love his character, TT made it hard in ep5 and tested my relationship with kenny
I can see janes POV, kenny was a spring bouncing around the place, but my knowledge of him from way back when knew yes he was highly strung but I still trusted him..
Now im not here to change anyones view, thats just stupid, all our playthroughs were different so this is just my POV...
Some will say how can u trust him when he was storming around the cabin while clem was freezing?, well we know kenny is hot headed, and you have to accept times like that kenny can go off and miss the important part of any given situation, BUT the same can be said for all other members of the group, they all had their shortcomings, bonnie was consistently putting clem in harms way asking her to do stuff, moth mike and bonnie left clem to the dogs leaving with the car and supplies, (kenny would have never done that) luke needed 20 mins to think stuff through before acting, the complete opposite to kenny, basicly no one in the group was a sure bet, they all (most) wanted to ensure your safety but all have their shortcomings.
Kenny just expresses his feelings very openly, and while this somtimes can cause issues so can keeping your emotions inside, especially in a ZA situation, the only person clem could count on anywhere near 100% was lee, and that was because I played lee... but ultimately I knew more than any other person kenny had me covered and I could count on him not running out on me, thats just my take
As I say I understand other members concern of kenny, but I knew him a lot better, he was highly strung in the happiest of situations never mind after all this, that is just kenny and why I love him so.... I understand janes train of thought, but doing what she did was silly with a person like kenny, the whole way she came into the cabin without AJ.. silly silly silly, she purposefuly came In looking shifty, I wondered wtf she had done never mind kenny...
Yes kenny was struggling but he did his job dispite the hardships, I felt happy for him when he left clem and aj at the camp, god knows what he will do now, I hope I get to see him again but he did his job to the end a d lee would be thankfull...
Kenny had his issues but I putty anyone who tried to hurt those he loved and you you could count on the fact he wouldnt abandon you, he would die first... hope he survives out there and maybe some day him and clem will meet again
My god I killed him too. I thought I was doing him a favour by killing him because I thought he just lost AJ! I know, I'm so stupid. I didn't see Jane's obvious hints that the baby was still alive but I was just so caught up in the action I didn't think things through! Also since Kenny was the threat at the time I think it may have affected my decision. Although it was one of those decisions where the timer almost ran out and it only had a second to go. >.<
Just shut up! You are being very bipolar. First you're saying that Kenny's choice isn't right and is just "lesser evil" and now you are sayi… moreng it's just a choice? Make up your mind and stop treating your opinion as if it is a fact. No internet cookie for you. T^T
Kenny is afraid of dying because he still has at least two reasons left to live. You know Kenny would tell your Clementine he supports her decision to shoot him just so that Clementine won't have to live with the guilt he has felt himself after failing to protect his loved ones. Think about that for a second: Kenny is looking out for Clementine even if she decides to end his life.
Didnt make it better in my opinion. Yes I agree that it was very shitty to push Kenny so far...even if i dont think that her attention was to kill Kenny. She just wanted to show clementine wha he's capable of. I cant go with Kenny even if it's hurt me. I cant let him kill or hurting othe rpeoples for accidents or everytime I or the baby is in dangour.
Jane also had plenty of chances to tell Kenny that AJ was alive, and yet she refused to say anything. She wanted Kenny to think that AJ was … moredead, because she knew he would lose it.
Yeah but if one is a manipulative bitch who you don't like and the other is some depressed redneck you love, chances are you are gonna go for the depressed redneck.
Doesn't mean Jane deserved to die in order for that to happen either.

I was on Kenny sides to, the whole season 1 and the whole season 2. except the end. It fucking hurts me, but it was enough. I dont want him to see how he kills people when they did mistakes. Yes Kenny wanted to protect me and AJ the whole time, but the way he did it was not okay in my opinion. He threatens everyone, hurts people, is ready to kill someone....I know what Jane did was silly, and I hated her for that. But I couldnt let him Kill Jane for doing an mistake. It means, I would be okay with it that Lilly kills Carley. It was the exatly same situation. Lilly lost someone very important and Carly pushes her to far. I had teh feeling if I stay to Kenny, it's the same to say "I'm oaky with that." wich I definetly not. And it reminds me on the Stranger form season 1. I mean, because of us(Lee, Kenny and co.)he lost his whole family. We did it not on purpose, but we were technically the reason why they died.. So did the stranger had the right in your opinion to kill us? Was it okay for you?
Because I couldnt do it. I respect your descision. And I wont say it was wrong, because Janes action really was not okay...but c'mon am I the only one who see that side of the story?
I love kenny, we got on in season 1 and I just love his character, TT made it hard in ep5 and tested my relationship with kenny
I can se… moree janes POV, kenny was a spring bouncing around the place, but my knowledge of him from way back when knew yes he was highly strung but I still trusted him..

No. I wanted to kill her because she forced me to kill the one man who I had always counted on through this whole thing. I wanted to kill he… morer because she twisted everything around so that she could end Kenny. and.... NO! No.. screw this. My canon playthrough? NO! I DON'T APPRECIATE BEING TRICKED TELLTALE. That's why the rewind button is there after all. I'm gonna rewind it, because I don't think it was at all fair of Telltale to trick me. So no. I think not.

Yup. Kenny was a broken man, not a bad man.
He was fast becoming something he wouldn't have wanted to be.
Doesn't mean Jane deserved to die in order for that to happen either.

Yeah, I get that she wanted a throwdown with Kenny but I couldn't kill Kenny and in the end it's largely her fault she died.
I got there but couldn't leave Kenny. Hopefully it works out in the end and you never know, they said they might have spaces in a few months.

He's talking about howes...
You mean Wellington I've been all over Washington. There's no camp, I promise. And it isn't that cold there.

You can't just shoot Kenny after what Lee said in Clementine's dream.
I have a whole save slot devoted to Kenny for both Seasons.
Kenny appears with a Dumbledore beard
"I got lucky. Really lucky."
How did you get a hold of the script for season 3???:o
Yeah, you're right! It's an experience.
And as experience you must live it only with your choices
I have not had to rewind, I just gave him some advice
Ah, so save Jane is a mistake? Why?
Only cause Kenny ending is "happy" doesn't mean that save Jane is wrong....
I work for Telltale Games. Shh, it's a secret.
Just shut up! You are being very bipolar. First you're saying that Kenny's choice isn't right and is just "lesser evil" and now you are saying it's just a choice? Make up your mind and stop treating your opinion as if it is a fact. No internet cookie for you. T^T
overprotective? if the baby died, who was he exactly trying to protect by killing Jane?
I just sprayed my morning coffee all over puter lol, that was fantastic, post of the month lol... that cheared me up thx...
And totally agree also..
Ofcourse she didnt say that was a good prank, lol...
Although it was one of those decisions where the timer almost ran out and it only had a second to go. >.<
Jane was the one who pulled out a knife. After that all bets were off. Later Jane!
Yeah but if one is a manipulative bitch who you don't like and the other is some depressed redneck you love, chances are you are gonna go for the depressed redneck.
Salvy these people live in a fantasy , they don't know that in real life they can't rewind.
But she showed you that Kenny would of killed her if the baby did die, Even if it was an accident.
WHAT if it was Luke instead of Jane.Huh??
Not really...she takes first the knife back. She only pulled it out when he was above her.
