  • Well jane ending IS the majority so... and choice based games should NEVER have canon choices

Umm what? There is no one true canon. Also the jane ending is the majority so they would piss A LOT of people off Game just came out

There has never been a 'canon' choice in the game, and the endings are no different. Thats why they provide choices, unlike season 1's ending. Everyone's game is canon.

I don't really care, because most likely, the Jane ending wasn't cannon.

  • Hehe, I love this kind of disrespectful sarcasm directed towards Jan--- nevermind, we gotta keep the flamewar down, right?

THAT MAKES PERFECT SENSE IT'S NOT LIKE EVERYONE WOULD REACT THAT WAY AT THIS POINT

  • He brushes off his lady-friend's arm when she tries to hold onto him, and when you turn him away he starts getting aggressive and threatens you.

    a macho father What ?

  • I still think that the only reason he dosen't kill you right there takes over is Gill (his son)

  • Clementine is a strong, independent, black woman that don't need no man to keep her down snaps fingers.

Because love is a fundamental part of humanity, and exploring its themes in an apocalypse is just as valid as any other focus of a story arc, let alone the tangential character building moments its attributed too.

  • Like people said before, I think Jane and Clem should play hide and seek with his kid to determine if he deserves to be killed off.

  • well i'm glad you're Clem won't fall for him (But think of all the other Clems who will)

  • And How will Randy (or Possible Kenny 2.0 as some call him) react................................ He will kill you (or at least Jane)

  • His possibly adopted 'son'. :P Patricia comes across as a genuinely nice person (as Sarita was for Kenny) and Gill seems to be a male Clementine. Even if Randy has the potential to become like Carver and Kenny, I'd still give him the benefit of the doubt and make sure he won't go berserk like either two...

Remeber Kenny din't go beserk (or at least killer beserk ) on anyone he considered family (Clem, Sarita,A.J,etc) but Randy i belive will have nowhere near as close a relationship to them (Unless Gill and Clem are "Hooked Up" and he approves)

I'm not worried about the gun, at this point everyone has one,and his family looks nice but i don't know he gives me extrange vibes. Also i'm worried about what he will do to protect his family. If he turns out to be a good guy i think i will like him.

  • She doesn't need romantic love, but love as in people will love like a sister, a daughter, and a friend.

  • Well, Kenny got a bit aggressive when 'helping' Sarita carry the box of supplies back in Episode 2. He's aggressively protective, which nice people like Sarita or Patricia might perceive as just well-intentioned.

But yeah, it might be hard for the two kids to 'hook up' if Jane or Randy aren't too happy about it. But I do like the idea of having a boy as Clem's companion - or maybe even playing as him and seeing Clem from a different perspective. Not as a guardian, not as herself, but as an equal.

  • And also, we think as a daughter, just imagine Clem arguing with Lee over a boyfriend.

  • As others have said, I doubt they'll make one ending canon, but if they do it'll be the one which most people got, which is the Jane and family ending.

But I don't like him at all. He seems really fishy to me.

  • Yep that's exactly what i fear another Kenny/Lilly situation where both want to take control but this time with Randy and Jane.

  • How does that make him a "macho" ? He was obviously stressed. You could have said he was an irritable person or a quick-tempered guy, but a """"macho"""" ?

Guy forgets to treat his woman like a queen in a stressing situation, he's macho ?

when you turn him away he starts getting aggressive and threatens you.

Which is perfectly understandable, they finally find a refuge after God knows how many misfortunes, and they are turned away by someone who points a gun at them. This is incredibly frustrating and you shouldn't expect this guy to smile and say "nevermind, sorry, thank you for your time"

Been mentioned previously Itchy,....but you're so far up your own opinions I'll repeat it for you.

Clem has to help build a community of strangers, instead of joining one?

    What is the difference exactly?

You like that she will be put into the dangers of defending the fort, either out of gunfire or walker encounters?

Again..what is the difference? she is exempt from doing that if she is at Wellington? And you know this because? Interesting....

You like how her life is now at a greater risk now that she's back at Howe's

Supposition and opinion based no in facts. How do we know Wellington is safe long term? Still plenty of walkers/herds around...they have a wall remember? Or is that just for decoration and to make the place pretty?

  • i think in that ending he will become a DEFINITIVE antagonist

...yes, you SHOULD treat your loved ones like queens especially when they're in a scary, stressful situation. That's why they're your loved ones.

You're defending his actions and they are understandable. I'm pointing out that he's behaving much like Kenny was, and if you trusted Kenny you definitely can trust him.

Of there is a canon...how can they write a story otherwise? Before they know it they will be releasing 37 different version of an episode.

Just the way it is. There is and always will be a canon, a definite pathway that we all follow. How we get there is another matter.

  • No, I didn't. I mean, who isn't armed (and alive) in those days ? Plus when they were at the fence, he had his hand behind his back, so you could deduce that he carried a weapon before you saw it.
