Kenny accidentally punch Clementine
If you choose [Protect Arvo], Kenny will accidentally punched Clementine. Such an intense scene. The look on Clem's face like she can't believe that Kenny hurt her physically.

It was [Help Arvo]
And Clementine was hit by Kenny's elbow to her nose.
Somebody got video pls i want see
Yeah,I saw it.But if im right Kenny seems shocked when he realizes it
Also, if you stand between Kenny and Jane in the fight and try to stop Kenny fighting her, he pushes her to the ground.
He does, and it's not like Kenny can see backwards.. If Clem keeps going into line of fire she should expect to get shot sometime.. Like with the baby.
It was an accident..I know
Not only does Kenny looked shocked at what he did in the house with Arvo, but at the gates of Wellington Kenny will tell her that he is ashamed of what he had put her through. This is important to understanding that Kenny isn't the psychopath Jane wanted him to be seen as, and it is something that is overlooked whenever the argument arises.
I know you know.
Jane does the same thing.. hurr durr
This is true, so much is overlooked.
Just like Jane trying to apologise to Kenny in the car before she cuts her off and that she apologises after the whole fight. People just ignore all kinds of evidence to believe what they want to.
Why can't people just accept that some people think shooting Kenny is terrible and some think allowing Jane's death is terrible?
There's so much looking down on opinion on this forum.
wut
I didn't say she doesn't....this thread is about Kenny, not Jane....
Just cause Jane does it as well doesn't make it right..
Flog she realised how mean she was and wanted to look good in Clem's eyes? I know how manipulative people work.
So she apologised...and that makes her even worse...
I'm really getting the impression that you only say these things because you like Kenny. I think if Jane acted exactly as kenny acted, you would hate her for it and sympathise with Kenny.
Because you literally have NOT ONE GOOD thing about Jane to say. I say good things about Kenny.
You're clearly biased.
Yeah don't stand in his way then?
I wasn't 'standing in his way', I was trying to stop them fighting and trying to get them to get along...
If you try to stop fights in real life you can expect to get one yourself.
She is manipulative and wanted to kill Kenny, she lost anything good to say about her. Except that she is smart, strong and could've just left and lived alone instead of killing him.
No one is saying that it's right. He probably just wanted to point that out.
If I was a child and with an adult I considered to be my friend, I would not expect to get hit.
No one is perfect bro
She didn't want to kill Kenny, that's the entire point.
She wants to convince Clem that she doesn't have to be with him. If she wanted to just kill him, there'd be no point.
She even PUTS AWAY HER KNIFE. She ends the fight by doing that, and Kenny slams into her and then tries to kill her.
Do you have to be SO unpleasant to everyone who doesn't like Kenny? Can't you just respect their opinion.
Heh, fucker...
Kenny's pretty much the abusive step-dad by Episode 5. It doesn't matter how desperate he sounds or even how genuinely bad he feels - I can't trust him anymore, and the only reason why I'd let Clementine go with him after Jane's death is the hope that she'd find Christa at Wellington.
I agree that their relationship is unhealthy, but you overexaggerate.
She hid the baby so Kenny would murder her! Don't you realise this?! If she really wanted to show Clem she would've stayed with both Clem, Kenny and AJ and make her see for herself. Not end someones life to prove a point!
Besides Kenny was making progress, you could see Kenny even cared for Jane in the car. Shame She chose to end it.
No, he doesn't. The way Kenny acts is scarily similar to how an abusive family relationship works in real life. It's really disturbing...
It doesn't matter what good aspects she may have when there was no good to come from using AJ as an instrument to demonize someone else. Saying that she is sorry doesn't change the fact that her actions caused Clementine to murder another human being, especially one she considered a good friend. All this, just so Jane could say "I told you so."
This is wrong. Worse than when Ben was tricked into giving the bandits supplies. Worse than when Nick accidentally shot and killed Matthew. Worse than when Carver had Carlos slap his own daughter as a form of punishment. Jane didn't manipulate Clem, she manipulated Kenny to be the Carver she wanted him to be, just so Clem could agree with her.
Might be so, still left Kenny to go to Wellington because I knew he would probably get Clem killed.
lol
Hey, I've been in abusive situations. I've been abusive before. When an abuser gets really angry, they throw their anger onto someone they love or onto a convenient scapegoat, apologize profusely for doing so, then do it again. It's extremely hard to challenge them to channel their anger into a more healthy and rational manner, and even if they are aware of their failings it's difficult for them to consciously control something as volatile as their own anger.
So - Clem getting yelled at, shoved and elbowed is just the beginning. And I don't want her to take any more from someone she's meant to "love."
What are you saying? Yes he is. Just because he's repentant about it doesn't absolve him from the actions that he keeps instigating, and then apologizing for. What kind of twisted logic is that? His beating of Arvo was merely a symptom of his rampant and increasingly unchecked anger. He was slowly devolving into just the psychopath you claim he isn't. And not just Jane, but everybody in the group, even Clementine, could see that.
You claim we are overlooking things, and then go off ignoring those you don't like as well. Just because you feel sorry for Kenny doesn't absolve him, and isn't going to make anybody trust him any further. You can't keep apologizing for him forever, and we are never given the option to directly confront his crazy until we are ultimately given the ultimatum. A situation that arose from Kenny dragging a starving newborn baby, a gun-wounded prepubescent girl, and the only other person who truly cares enough about the girl to not abandon her, into a blinding snowstorm chasing a completely uncertain destination.
First off, that is exactly what the internet is. Getting upset over people being dicks is futile. Its like complaining about why there are so many zombies in a zombie apocalypse.
Of course people are going to have differing opinions, and no one is going to have a perfect memory (there is a lot of stuff I need to look up references too as well for my arguments). A lot is going to be overlooked and a lot is going to be blindly defended. That's just the nature of these things. Its not like its an officially run and sanctioned debate on the merits of one character over the other.
Plus, arguing and discussing (and even some of the more playful basing) is part of the fun. =P
Kenny is the one that needs looking after, not Clem. So I stuck with him.
Just make sure she doesn't go the way of Sarita.
NVM.
show a video
Well actually, Kenny has the same expression on his face if you choose any other option too...but I chose to help Arvo
Edit: I can't blame him for beating Arvo. I actually hated Arvo from the second the shoot out happened. He caused the shoot out and lied about getting robbed (in my story). I never forgave or trusted Arvo. He snapped.
Edit: I posted the video for you guys (and for my curiosity). Thank you greenetea for inspiring me to make this video.
It's more of him bringing back his fist to punch Arvo again and Clem tries to stop him and Kenny pushes her away or kinda hits her by accident. I myself choose to try and Help Arvo and when I did I didn't think Kenny did was intentional.
I'm PRETTY sure he threw her down with one arm. If Kenny actually punched her, I do believe it would've been a LOT more obvious. That, and Jane does it too...
what video? link?
