Clem would be a better protagonist in s3 more so than she was in S2, she will be older and it will feel more real playing her, as she will be an experienced surviver, but I do like the idea of mike for some reason, I dont think we will get the chance to play mike as what happened with the car and supplies, , so I think thats out tbh...
Before ep5 I was all for a complete fresh start, but ill admit ep5 has somewhat stunted my train of thought lol
She's experienced survivor already but I know what you mean. :P With so many endings (if we'll play as Clementine) there will be probably some timeskip. Maybe a few months or maybe a year or two.
Yeah, she'd have had more time to hone her survival skills and be a better survivor, and it would feel more in control than this season, where Carlos would say things like she's just a little girl bla bla

Probably but at this point they can't make more than 2 years timeskip. They still need to maintain everything with comics canon so they can't expand story beyond comics timeline.
Comics are only 4 years in, so the oldest AJ can be is 2 years old.
I feel like Christa should be the Season 3 protagonist. We have no idea what happened to her after S2E1, and her personality is in a state of flux anyhow. We've seen her in two ways - as the moral and sensible partner of Omid in Season 1, and as the bitter, lonely woman we see in Season 2.
Given that fact, it's entirely possible that dialogue options could take you down either path, as in being nice or being not-so-nice. I feel like Christa is the perfect choice at the moment, but I'd still be cool with another Clementine season. I just think Christa has a perfect opportunity to be projected onto by the player.
Just my thoughts. Probably an unpopular idea, but hey.
I wouldn't mind playing as Vince, Eddie, or Wyatt, but still want clem the most

Playing as Aj needs a large timeskip, but it would be cool. Otherwise, other characters we already know, or totally new characters.

Let's say Kirkman created an ending where the entire human race is dead, and Telltale is ahead of them, it breaks canon.

If you watched IGN's spoilercast, it does seem likely that Christa's story will remain a loose thread. They were talking about loose threads in this universe and how it's normal. so unless they were tricking us, that is how it's going to be..
I'd still like to know what happened to her exactly after she (hopefully) escapes the bandits!

Im ok with everyone wanting her to be protagonist, I do also. But people saying they are going to quit if she isn't.. that's a different story...
I don't want to play as AJ, but what if we played as someone else with Clem as a groupmember? I don't get why that's left out of the poll.
No idea how to add it in without making a new one, but you might as well vote for the AJ one, seeing as everyone here says AJ cant be more than two years old as not to break canon.

No, they can't. Unless Kirkman expand universe with another timeskip Telltale can't make their own timeskip from this point more than 2 years ahead.
Well I'd love to see Clementine's story continue.
I'd like to either play as Kenny, cause he's my favorite character in the game.
Or, I'd like to play as a new character all together.
A white guy who's 40-50 yrs old.
Who runs into Kenny and Clementine after they leave Wellington together, like they did in my game.

They already know who the main lead of season 3 is since they are already working on it... I just hope its Clem...
Maybe... I seriously don't know what Telltale writers are gonna do, there are so many ways they could handle with season 3, but fans are going to complain no matter what they choose. It's kind of an impossible mission for them.
