I think a DLC would be fine (his escape)
But I really think it would be best if we get a character who we don't know very well or we all universally like so we can mold the character as we go on.
Interesting how in season 2 people have very different approaches to playing as Clementine, some people try to preserve the innocence and some are downright brutal with how Clementine treats other people. And I think that's pretty brilliant. Because in season 1 most people had the primary objective of setting a good example for Clementine and now people have more varied protagonist personalities based on the way they play. I'd like to see more of that in season 3.
I wouldn't call Clementine naive but that actually sounds not so bad of an idea. I just want Arvo to live. .-. (And Kenny and Clementine too of course.)
I think it would be interesting because if Arvo was lead and Clementine was Arvo's partner and they would help each other. I would like to s… moreee how the two would work together, one being older but handicapped, the other able bodied but young and naive. They would compliment each others weaknesses.
Me being a Kenny fanboy I would have no complaints about him being MC but I feel Kenny's character has been explored a lot and he is just behind Clem in his character exploration. I would either like to continue Clem's story or have a completely new MC. But I would love a Kenny DLC to see how exactly he made his Savanah escape and on how he met Sarita!!!

I wouldn't say no, but it won't happen. The reasons are very simple: Kenny's character has been very developed and set in stone during the two seasons, and the certain flaws in his character is what makes him stand out from the other characters. I mean, I don't really see Kenny as a full-fledged "Paragon Shepard"(cheesy comparison, I know), do you?
With that being said, I do hope he makes it through episode 5 alive. I don't care what people say, he is the only character besides Clem that I actually care about, and the other characters would definitely not be able to replace him entirely. At least not the ones which are currently in the group.

I don't want to play as Kenny... I want episode 5 to have real tough choices and those who survived/got killed to carry on into the next in a very subtle way. I could be wrong but this is how I see things going.. years pass people are still surviving and you begin as some one completely different with his/her own set of story. New group new experiences different part of the world but with a bit of fan service as people from season 2 make guest appearances that coincide with this story. Hell maybe an older Clem joining your group? This will give them a lot of material to work with in season 3.
Perhaps Clementine will become the "female Nate?" Hell, I could imagine Nate taking quite a shining to her anyway. I'm just saying lets see where TT is going with all her "unbelievable characteristics."
What are you talking about, Nate is a psychopath who will kill you if you cross him, he is a totally believable character. I think the writers should just let Clementine shoot lasers out of her eyes, and KFC out of her mouth. Chicken attack !
Kenny is an established character. It would be hard for me to pick a choice as what I want. It would be more what Kenny wants. So a full season? No. But I wouldn't say no to a DLC which shows how he escaped Savannah.
Agree 100%. Also, Kenny is too important to the story as a main character. His purpose is to be a strong-willed member of the group, who makes quick and bold decisions, and anyone who isn't with him is against him. He's important to bring controversy and divide the group, which usually leads to you, the player, having to decide to side with Kenny or not. He's been the catalyst for many of the decisions you've had to make. So making him the playable character, how would you be able to control a guy that sees the world in such a black and white way? Who would take his place to stir things up and affect story progression?
I like Kenny but him being a playable character would be weird. I wouldn't like that at all. And he's already got an established personality so giving different dialogue choices could possibly leave him out of character and that wouldn't be as fun.
Clementine fans are now the worst fans, they're worse than the Kenny Fans at this point. I can't wait till Clementine does kick the bucket, because "no one stays lucky forever." Then your going to hear a lot of NYAH NYAH NYAH NYAH NYAH.
I agree that with his personality as it is, Kenny would not make a good protagonsit. however, consider this scenario:
No Going Back, Kenn… morey and Clementine are walking through the snow. clementine was bitten on the shoulder, however, and is quickly dying. she trips, falls to the ground, and tries to get back up, but can't. Kenny walks to her side and says
"Clem? How ya feeling honey?"
"Cold"
"Everythings gonna be alright clem. don't you worry. You'll be fine." Takes out his pistol
Kenny arrives at Wellington, where he meets some survivors. A man on the wall says: "What's your name?"
"Kenny"
"Don't matter"
"What's yours?"
"..."
Again, I would only enjoy playing as Kenny if losing Clemenitne was the final straw and it made him completely change his personality.
LMFAO. How can someone be so dramatic? There hasn't been one comment in this thread remotely close to the attitude of "No Clem No Buy" so idk why you're being so defensive and rude by generalizing the entire fanbase and calling them disgusting for no reason.
Nah, why even make a thread about this? It's obviously just gonna be flooded with the "No Clem No Buy" Bandwagon, so what's the point?
I … morewant Kenny in S3, but i don't see him as a protagonist.
On here, the talk about a new protagonist gets you attacked and jumped by Clem fan girls.
I don't understand why just some guy coming up with an idea for a protagonist gets 20 dislikes. It's honestly embarrassing to be apart of such a disgusting fan base. Not only do they disrespect the game developers but flat out disrespect someone's idea.
Personally speaking, I'd embrace the opportunity. But the percentage of fans on this forum (and elsewhere) who were already set against Kenny before season 2 began have become more venomous than ever towards the character.
IMO, having Kenny as the PC for S3 would make narrative sense, but I can understand why a lot of people feel differently.
I don't mind playing as Clem I would just hope Telltale do a bit of a time skip so it's a little older and wiser Clem. (let's say S2E5 ends with Clem and whoever is still alive, where we think is safe. Then S3E1 a few years have passed and begins as a massive hoard eats everyone except Clem and a few others.)
Otherwise if someone else takes over being the playable character, they should keep Clem in the game as part of the story.
Another DLC would be awesome too with a whole new cast. Maybe as Lilly who is in command at Crawford now and wants to take over Wellington!
Or a crossover where we play as Daryl Dixon. ooooooh!!!
I find it funny you comment on everything i say, are you stalking me. I can understand, rich successful handsome, but there is a downside to this handsome devil. I like the sauce.

Although I don't believe that Kenny will survive beyond Episode Five. I wouldn't mind playing him in Season Three. However, I think tell-tale has almost ruined his character, so that's not going to happen.
If somehow he did miraculously survive again, then I think tell-tale would have pushed the boundaries a little too far.
Since I killed Kenny, I wouldn't mind having Kenny & Jane being the longest living determinant characters. NO NICK DETERMINANT. Nick was just like a shadowy figure the whole time.

As much as I like Kenny,it would be kind of weird to play a full season with him.I'd play a DLC that includes him, though
As where the episodes. It's part of the story just as much as the episodes are. Hell telltale even refer to it as "Episode 6"

Maybe they would if they had the chance.

Only if Clementine isn't

No not for a while IMO of course ...
It's funny how you assume anyone opposing Kenny are "Clem fans" when nothing in this thread so far has shown anything to warrant your comment.
Kenny couldn't even shoot his own dying son to put him out of his misery, what makes you think he'd be able to shoot Clem?

"Stable" lmfao
If I'm being honest, I really hope not.

Maybe we'll get to play as walker Lee. See the world through the eyes of the undead...

I feel that they're going to kill Kenny off in Episode 5![:( :(](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
God no. It's annoying enough having to shoot a walker 2 or 3 times before it goes down as Clem.
Having to shoot a walker twenty times before you even hit it as Kenny would be unbearable. :P
I didn't mean that he's stable, I meant that we can't build his personality, because he has one already.
Oh my god, I hope not. It will suck so much.
Kenny isn't gonna make it much longer because honestly, he is starting to give up considering all the things that has happened to him
me too
How about nooooooooo
As Dr. Evil would say
I find it funny you comment on everything i say, are you stalking me. I can understand, rich successful handsome, but there is a downside to this handsome devil. I like the sauce.
What is your point? Honestly stop giving me pointless notifications and stupid replies. It's a waste of time.

you can't play a probably dead man
He can kill the boy in the attic and he shoots Rebecca without hesitation, it's possible he's been hardened. also, clem isn't his son.
After ep 5, mayyyyybe not
Me neither.
Do I have to state the obvious?
Edit: I'm sorry, I thought this was a new thread![;) ;)](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
