POLL: Which character do you like better?
Kenny: from The Walking Dead?
Or, Joel: from The Last Of Us?
I know they're from different games.
But which character do you like better?
This question is a tough one for me.
I like Kenny.
And I like Joel.
But, honestly, I prefer Kenny.
He's much more kinder than Joel is.
Much more humane.
And actually, I'd say he's even smarter than Joel.
Just my opinion!

So... where's the poll?
Kenny is warmer, I think. But I prefer Joel slightly, as once he warms up to ellie hes' generally always quite nice to her.
Kenny is humane? You...uh...where did you get that conclusion from?
The Wellington ending, watch it.
I created a poll for you

He's humane in the wellington ending.
But he has certainly not been humane throughout the game. Bashing someone's head in instead of shooting them is like the opposite of humane.
Be honest, if someone took you hostage, forced you to do labor work, and beat your head in, wouldn't you want revenge?
You use "revenge" as such a vague and loose term.
Revenge is pulling out your gun, aiming between the eyes, and pulling the trigger. What Kenny did was beat a corpse's face inside out... so that means he was just beating a dead body. How is that "revenge?"
He wanted Carver to feel the same pain he did, that counts as revenge.
a strange question to ask in a walking dead forum if you want a useful result.
And he wanted something to lash out his anger on.
There's no pain if you're dead though. Also, jeez that is a bleak outlook.
"You hurt me, so I hurt you worse." And that's one of my BIG issues with Kenny as a whole.
I'll admit Kenny has flaws, but everyone else does too. I just wish everyone would stop the "Kenny VS Jane" thing.
He didn't just hurt kenny.
He hurt clem and the whole group , mentally or physically he still hurt them. That's why kenny did what he did.
On that we can agree.
Personally, I left on my own with the baby to go to Mexico. I think Jane was in the "right" during the fight, but she made one fatal error. She lied to me, I couldn't allow myself to go with her after that indiscretion.
But that's just my reflective opinion.
I let Kenny kill her, then I left Wellington with him.
Kenny did it for himself. Carver made Kenny disfigured, so Kenny maimed and disfigured Carver, and in front of my Clementine too.
All that tells me is Kenny has no power over his rage and is too easily consumed by it.
In front of your clementine?
Only if you chose to stay.
As for kenny killing him if he didn't carver wouldn't get what he deserved.
Personally I would beat his fucking face in if he did that to me.
Yes, my Clementine chose to stay... but I did it cause I was hoping Kenny wouldn't go as far as he did.
I was trying to see if he was as unstable as people had said he was. Once he killed Carver, I wanted nothing more to do with him.
And if you're serious about that last line, I wouldn't want you around my group. Sorry...
What did you expect? He would decorate carvers face?
If you stayed you should have expected what happened.
Maybe they just mean that Kenny is more humane in comparison to Joel? I think that's a fair thing to say. Joel has easily done far worse things than Kenny, we just never saw them first hand. Like Joel used to be one of those Bandits like the ones that showed up in Pittsburgh. Luring innocent people into ambushes to kill them and steal whatever supplies they may or may not have. On the other hand, Joel is definitely a lot calmer than Kenny.
I don't even think I can choose which one is my favorite. I think they're both fascinating characters and I adore both of them despite the awful things they've done. Kenny might have a very slight lead for me, though, simply due to the type of game TWD is. Choosing your own dialog and decisions kinda makes the relationship with the character more personal than with your typical game.
That doesn't make it 'humane'.
That also doesn't make it 'humane'.
Yeah it doesn't, but I doubt Carver would try to let Wellington take the kids and leave.
I agree.
Joel has done far worse than Kenny.
When he fought, you remember some of the ways he killed his opponent?
Brutal!
And also being a bandit at one time.
And being a drug-runner when me meet him in the Quarantine zone.
Joel is more calmer.
But with that, I strongly sensed a lack of compassion for others.
Kenny, though more hot-tempered, was more compassionate.
And in many respects, more genuine than Joel.
Kenny for me!
Dude... you're on a TWD forum. Is this even a question? xD
Well.... I don't really like either of them that much to be honest...
KENNY
Joel
