Lots of stories kill the main character and continue on. Like the TV shows "Being Human" (the UK version killed off their entire original cast), and Two and a Half Men. Or the Spider-Man comics where Peter gets killed and replaced by Miles or Doc Ock depending on the series. Or in the two Outlast games where you play as different people during the same timeframe in the same location.
But yeah of course I get your point that it'd be nice to see Clementine again, just pointing out that technically the main character totally can and sometimes does get killed off and the story continued without it necessarily being considered a reboot or spin off.
I do not agree with you she has to continue as the main character her story is not over she is the rick and carl of walking dead in this gam… moree in other words she is the main character she has to be the main character you cant kill the main character or there is no more to continue from you cant take her out and put all new characters in it makes no sense and is not considered a continuation at all than its considered a spin off or a reboot but it would not be considered season 3.
I am sorry but Clementine has to either be the playable character or be in it to continue season 3 but it makes more sense that she would be the main playable character again but in any case you have to have the characters that made the season return without any of those characters you might as well not call it season 3 you might as well call it a spin off or a reboot and besides there is no other character that interests me to play other than clementine.
You guys are just signing on for her death, you realize right? She's the one last character left from this batch that would make people cry … moreso do you really think she'd survive another season?
I used to be in the the camp that I didn't want her to be the focal point but man ... these forums would be fun to read when she dies next season so it may be worth it to me.
No im not signing it as I dont want to force them to use a character. Im only commenting so they realise this isnt unanimous It seems from the recent playing dead they felt a bit bullied to bring Kenny back and that everyone liked him
If they want to use clem cool, but if she dosnt work they shouldnt be forced to include her.
That would seriously destroy me. She deserves a happy ending because we've spent so much time with her. Killing her off one day would be a slap in the face for fans. It would make it seem like her journey was for nothing
Lol, it could hardly be called bullying. If anything little petitions like this assist Telltale in knowing what the fans would like to see in the next season. Feedback is in their best interests.

Making her live forever would be a slap in the face to fans. This is a huge dangerous world but a little girl is off-limits? Sorry, that just means this entire genre is dumb. I know they've claimed that even Rick isn't off-limits, and many fan favorites have been killed off from the comics.
The longer Clem lives, the more realism is killed off for Walking Dead fans. I hate the notion that if you die then what you did means nothing. It was still an amazing journey, why does it have to be forever? That's why I like that Mass Effect didn't say "We're gon keep Shepard FOREVAH" ... Cos his journey was complete. Whether alive or dead, that's the end. Let this be an ending for Clem, let her stay alive and all of that. I promise that she won't live forever if you keep putting her in these games. To think that she will is asking for pain.

I really think she'll be the protagonist in Season 3, even if some disagree. Let's face it, the game would lose a lot of fans if she isn't (not saying that I'd be one of them, but I'd considerate it)
"Realism" died the moment the dead rose. It's a work of fiction, and if anything a story about a little girl surviving in a truly horrific situation is far more novel than yet another story about some angry middle-aged white guy doing guy things.

Sorry, I'm going to let Telltale do what they planned, I'll be happy with whatever Telltale has in store, as long as it's well-written and has fewer flaws.
It was their own decision to bring Kenny back, and to be honest I don't even understand WHY they did it. Kenny was a polarizing character, not a universally beloved one, and turning him into the deuteragonist took away from the potential of having Clem interact with an entirely new group. Or even simply spending time on developing Omid and Christa.
Regardless, I don't think even Season 2's writers are dumb enough to think that killing off Clem could possibly yield anything more rewarding than keeping her around for a long time.

Half of the forum had their theories on Kenny coming back, and when he came back, everyone was haply, and onlg 13 percent stayed with him... and @Hazzer is right. Telltale can do whatever but WE are the players, so we should have a voice in what they do too!

I never said anything about middle aged, never said anything about white.
What about a young Latin teenager that just crossed over the boarder and is looking for some form of salvation after his entire family tried to kill him?
A Cuban wanting to go back to his home, thinking that the island may be better then the mainland America?
A pack of high school seniors, slowly whittling down to select few and we pick one of them to take the journey with?
There are other options that could be more fun, believable and open the door up to much more story. I honestly don't see 5 episodes of Clementine that would be worth getting. This season dragged on A LOT until the end and I'm fearful of them stretching even less material out then before. Clem can be around but keeping her at the center is going to really make the plot suffer IN MY OPINION. If you like it? Good on you, but I wouldn't rush out to buy another season revolving around her.

They were never forced to bring Kenny back. They intended to, why else would they have made his "death" in Season One open to speculation of a possible survival?
Plus, being "Bullied" into it? That's the wrong word to use completely. One of the most important keys for the developers to do is to satisfy their fanbase. Have moments we'd smile or cry at since it reminds us of how far we've come (meeting Kenny in Season Two and the Lee flashback). Now, I'm very sure Clem will still be the lead of Season Three (and I really hope it will be, I don't think changing the protagonist every season is a good idea).

Than why bother even making a Season Three? I don't think it's such a great idea to have a constant shift of protagonist every season. It will lose more and more focus if we keep changing the lead character. Switching to Clementine in Season Two made sense since you trained her as Lee in the first Season.
Also, if it did follow a new group/characters why even call it Season 3 if it isn't going to be following the same story as the last 2 seasons? That just wouldn't make sense to me. If they're going to use new characters they should just reboot the franchise instead of making it a third season.
Plus, I have a good feeling Season Three will feature an older Clem taking care of AJ in a very similar way to how Lee once took care of her. It would be symbolic, and would actually wrap the series in a perfect circle, so to speak. I speculated this WAY BACK when All That Remains came out when I saw Rebecca pregnant. And thus far, the roads leading up to my idea being very, very much possible. It even ended (in a sense) the way I expected, with Clem and the baby being together regardless. And I think that's the most important thing about Season Two's ending, not the fact it can end in 5 different ways.
No I would rather Clem's story wrapped up here, where different people's choices gave their character a different outcome. Bringing her back next season would ruin that.
What flaws? I can only think of small nitpicks, and even the nitpicks I have can be justified as being good points.
For example I'm not a fan of the fact like the cast didn't really mourn the death of Luke. But this can be justified as in the apocalypse, everyone has to be as emotionless as possible in order to survive, and need to keep on moving
I don't think that would be a natural progression for her. If she isn't gonna be a protagonist again I'd rather she wasn't in it at all, it would be sad to see her as being unplayable It would be like she's suddenly a different character because we're no longer playing as her

OKAY I DID IT!
I'm sure TT know most fans want her back, but what the hell I'll sign it anyway

Of course she'll die eventually this is the walking dead
Awesome!!!!

I'm sure Clem will be in season3. A video I watched hinteds at it.

I sign a while ago. Last time i check there were 49 and now there are 58!
Awesome! I've been pretty busy and I haven't checked but thanks for checking and signing!

I fear that it won't if Clem is the center of attention again.
This is pointless...........
It may be, but I'd feel horrible without trying. Even if she is already planned to be season 3 protagonist, I literally wasted no time!
It's just to show TT how dedicated some fans are to this amazing character.

The petition for Nick didn't work so I think Telltale has final say.
I heard she will remain the protagonist in S03. only a little older. but yeah. I'll sign the petition anyway. xD
This petition is now Skylar Approved.
I am pretty sure he is talking about this video:
Now if you are interested there already is a thread for this particular video: http://www.telltalegames.com/community/discussion/81516/clem-in-season-3-confirmed-or-some-kind-of-continuation-in-this-vid-for-season-3
Just send the petition to them though twitter they don't have an email that I know of just saying.

Done here good luck ^^
Fans be like "Hi there, would you like to sign my petition?"
No idea what this is but it's really funny hahaha
we need clementine as a deutarwaogaslganagawrtagnist
