When you love someone, you take their good with the bad. Sure Kenny is crazy, but who isn't in a Zombie Apocalypse? This isn't real life, and things are exaggerated. Who cares if he kills Jane, did you really honestly care? I know i didn't. I mean, sure i might of felt some sympathy for her when she was crying about her dead sister, but then she kept on picking on Kenny, a man with a rage problem., to the point where she was talking about ditching the others i wanted to shoot her myself.
Kenny is the only character besides lee that i can remember hugging Clementine, that has to mean something.
So when she kicked the dog way too many times, the dog bit her, don't expect me to save her from that dog. She should of known better.
Again, in your opinion. I'd have no problem with you saying so if it didn't sound like you were stating it as fact. Feel free to find it stu… morepid, no hurt feelings here, it just irks me when I read everyone saying Kenny's endings are "the right/canon/best/true/only" endings as fact, when it's all opinionated.
I'll be content with all my three different endings, happiest with my Jane ending, and bid you a good day. c:
Besides Luke and Clementine. Kenny is the only one of the episode 5 group that hasn't intentionally or deliberately completely fucked anyone over.
Our precious seemingly flawless Mike and Bonnie were going to fuck Clem,Kenny,Jane AND the freakin baby over by going away with all of the supplies AND the only close form of quick transportation(the car kenny got working)
Arvo fucked us over by......I don't need to tell you how Arvo fucked us over do I?
Jane fucked Kenny over by pushing him into doing what he did AND then getting into a death fight with him and trying to kill him. And by extension was fucking over Clementine for fucking over her longtime friend kenny.
I'll be the first to say that Kenny has his faults, and that he has a lot. And that they get annoying. And that he becomes very unfair and cruel(especially to Arvo) a lot of times. But as far as Season 2 is concerned, he has never. and I repeat, he has never intentionally fucked any group member over. In fear of the great monster kenny, Mike and Bonnie wanted to get away from him so they became even worse monsters than the big ugly monster kenny. Jane in fear of the big ugly monster kenny hurting clementine had....dun dun dun, became an even bigger monster.
Maybe in a world where people don't deliberatly fuck each other over kenny wouldn't be so special, and would be more of an annoyance or something actually I guess. But in the world of the walking dead kenny is golden rare gold. I might sound like a fanboy here. Hell I probably am one if i were to admit. but I'd still like to say that in the cruel treacherous world of the walking dead kenny is golden rare gold.
Small parentesis: If your child has a “dark side” would the nostalgia factor kick in? Or you rationally accept his/her/it dead.
They forget the dark side, if they actually do, because of the light side PLUS the nostalgia, don't judge them so hard, not everyone is a cold rational “kill/fuck/leave that guy he has a dark side, fuck his bright side” like I assume you are.
Yes I did feel bad for Arvo. I see him sorta like Ben, trying to protect those he cared for, making some bad decisions when in the end its a… morell for naught. From his point of view, some girl (Jane) steals his gun leaving him completely defenseless when he already cant move too well, his group rallies for him, he doesn't want any fighting, (you can tell because he is going hysterical) and nobody dying, then his sister is shot by Clem (whom I think Arvo believed was still alive) Taken hostage by an abusive, racist redneck who keeps yelling at him and calling him "ruskie." I felt bad for him because he was just a guy and he was never given a chance to come clean to the group, he was always labeled as if it was his fault what happened, as if he was the one who killed Rebecca, as if he was the one that killed Luke. The whole shooting Clem situation I believe resulted as a build-up of all the emotional and physical abuse he suffered, so when he was i… [view original content]
You nailed it. People are willing to excuse Kenny's actions because they've known him for a long time, just like Bonnie was desperate to excuse Carver even when he's first introduced to Clem as a murderous bastard.
Although, since the fan-base seems to glorify violence and macho men, Carver gets a lot more defenders than Sarah or Arvo...

Yep. Kenny's loyalty is a sham in a half if you don't side with him at every moment in season one. Those who didn't side got to see his true colors early and never got attached to him.
I think a simple explanation wouldn't hurt. Things haven't particularly been very civil on these forums since episode five was released, and… more now certain people just want an answer to help understand why everyone has become more hostile and biased toward each others' viewpoints.
They don't really ignore it, They try to justify everything he does. WHATEVER he does will be justified. Blind Loyalty. It pisses the crap off me.
Some Kenny fans are awesome though, @CrazyGeorge for example, He simply puts it as he just cares about Kenny and that he doesn't care about Jane as portrayed above. @Rigtail is also a very cool one but I haven't really talked to him about his reasons. There're other people that i may not remember, or have not met on the forums. The Kenny fanbase is filled with biased, Dumb people. But it's also filled with very cool people.

Kenny sucks from season 1 episode 1, I went with Jane.
Walking dead forums has been uncivil for months now.
can we all at least agree on one thing unlike daryl kenny is actually a good character

I thought Daryl was a good character in the first two seasons.... Then he got invincible.
But yeah, Kenny is a way better character then Daryl IMO
Darth Skylar is still going to follow Empress Jane.
yes...my young jedi.
Uh-oh. I better leave this place before shit hits the fan.
