Oh and also, if you replayed your ending because you thought you were wrong, YOU CHEATED!
No matter what ending you got, if you replayed it for a different ending you liked, you cheated!
Agreed with all of this, the choices now are about 70% shot Kenny, 30% didn't shoot Kenny. If it was Luke instead of Jane it would be about 90% people who shoot Kenny and we know Telltale likes the decisions more split.
I'm sad that they took off shoot Mike option, but I can see the reasoning, since Kenny was supposed to be the first determinantly ally character shot by Clementine and we saw her reaction to it, plus with Mike it'd be more difficult to pull off since he betrayed her in the first place.
She wanted to show Clementine that Kenny was a raging monster without no capabilities of critical thinking.
WTF? to leave Kenny? why didn't jane just leave...or leave with bonnie and mike? She asked for this...and she died...
Manipulative is one thing, gambling with a baby's life and enraging someone you know is on edge is another. What if Jane had died and we don't hear the baby? What if a zombie heard it? Why didn't she just ask Clem if she wanted to leave with her, rather than start a showdown in which someone would die?
I think TellTale wanted us to choose between becoming Carver and killing a potential threat to the group and letting Jane (who believes she is the perfect survivor and sees Clem as a kind of apprentice) or having faith in Kenny and his wild drrams for a better future, whether its in a boat, a city or a baby.
Also this is kind of off topic but I like how TT depicts Jane as a hypocrite who constantly breaks her own rules. She slept with Luke, talk about how good it is to be alone and then comes back for Clem and refuses to leave without her.

just want to add that Kenny had the right to beat the living shit out of ARVO....
The way ARVO stared at the group...he knew he wanted to take the group down...just like how he wanted to shoot clem...
So yes...gotta teach the bad dog and make it become a good dog...but in this case...the good dog is a dead a dead dog.
"Jane wanted Kenny to TRY to kill her"
Is this even logical? Wanted him to try to kill him? it's like going to the zoo and asking lions to eat jane up...
No "normal" being would put themselves in a danger to "prove" something...
regardless what other might assume or think...let's not think beyond what is shown in the game...anything beyond that is an assumption...
you guys are NOT the writers to the game....
Based on what was shown in the game: it was either...baby's safety or to prove something...what's comes first?
She put herself in danger so Clem would realise that Kenny isnt safe to be around. Carver 2.0 acts just as Jane predicts, but he went for the kill, which suprised Jane.

that's not a valid reason for why she would prove that. You're saying it's okay to resort to violence/ or provoke another person OR...
not even give a shit about the baby....
this is about: where the hell the baby was... or to prove....which one would you consider important?

i like your thread but i have to disagree very much on this sentence:
You can't have both, because they both hate each other's gut.
i do not think she really hates kenny. her outburst just came because he hit her weak point.
"you are nothing. nobody cares about you and you care about nobody. that makes you nothing." right after depending on your clem she risked her own live to save her, her only friend died and the first people she opened up to in quiet a while left her back to starve with a madman.
to her kenny might be a wounded / rapid animal. that has to be put out of its misery / down or at least out of reach.

Ties all five endings together will not be hard. Time jump. Leave what happened as the background story. Have her in the same place despite what happened.
I think that this is the smartest post i've seen in a while. I love both Jane and Kenny, and I agree with all of your points. One thing Kenny fanboys forget is that Kenny can snap at anytime. He lost alot of people, so it would make sense he is like that. And Jane is definitely manipulative, but I do think her apology is sincere, and that she cares about Clementine. I mean hell, she got over her fear of groups to be with Clem, and she ran across thin ice to get to her. She also willingly joined a gun fight to protect you. Yeah, it was almost over, but still. She also SAVED KENNY'S LIFE DURING THAT FIGHT, and Kenny DIDNT EVEN SAY THANK YOU. I think whether you side with Kenny or Jane, both choices are logical and moral in their own ways. Lastly I want to say there is no canon ending. That's the point of MyClementine, the Canon path is whatever you choose in-game. That's the beauty of the Franchise.
TL;DR Jane and Kenny are both awesome, both choices are moral and logical in their own ways, and the canon ending is whatever you choose in-game.
fuck the caring about clem...what the baby? i see..you prefer to love clem than baby...because baby is non-existing in zombie world....and clem is a cute girl with a gun.
The beauty of a Telltale game is that you have to interpret the game, otherwise you would never understand what's going on. If you don't want to see interpretation of game dialogue and actions, don't join the forums.

That baby was nothing to me. I was hoping that Jane actually left the baby behind, would be rational thing to do, but Clem is only 11 after all, and i dont think she would understand reasoning behind that. That baby would just end up getting them killed eventually.

She and Kenny would go seperate ways very soon and Jane wanted Clem to come with her instead. A lot safer with her and she didnt want Clem to die because of Kennys hostile behaviour.

Nice guys finish last! Rewinds episode so I can let Kenny kill Jane

Your fate is supposed to be alone!
Read the entire thing.

There's no right ending. They're both fucked up in their own ways.
Also, the fight... was bait. And Kenny bit the bait! So I'm not sure who's at fault.
She cared about Clementine and thats why she did that.
She knew that Clem wouldnt just come with her, so she had to make Clem see what Kenny will become eventually, so she would pick Jane instead.
Now for you to listen :DDDD http://vocaroo.com/i/s0GQUbcvTCAV
(tried to sound the most murrikan I could, hope it doesn't sound weird, native language is french)
Praise the sunshine.
It was cleary Janes fault. She wanted to kill Kenny and she almost put AJ in danger.
Kenny for president, he would show Isis a thing or two.
That was amazing!
Thanks![:D :D](https://community.telltale.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)

Well, that's your opinion. I for one do not blame her for wanting to part ways with Kenny.
She put herself in danger so Clem would realise that Kenny isnt safe to be around. Carver 2.0 acts just as Jane predicts, but he went for the kill, which suprised Jane.

Clementine carrying the baby on her wounded shoulder! KENNY, WHY U SO LAZY?

was it clearly janes fault? he just looked for an excuse to kill her and his wellington plans put aj in danger.
Good point.
I agree it should should have ended with both jane and kenny alive on wellington
That would've been beautiful
Kenny also tries to manipulate Clem with the memory of Lee when the group tries to convince him Wellington is a bust.
That's also a way of manipulation.. correct.
Oh please... Who gives a shit about some random baby in zombie apocalypse...
i rest my case.
