Season 3 shouldnt have Clementine on it
Its been 2 seasons with Clementine being main focus of the story and i think its best to move to new (or possibly old) character. Mainly because people who buy only new season, wont have similar emotional attachment to Clementine as rest of us, since they dont know her story. Theres 2 seasons behind and if 3rd season is about Clementine, then those who havent experienced last 2 seasons, will have worse gaming experience (and i think its a bit harsh to ask players to buy last 2 seasons also, just so they could enjoy the game more).
Do you think it would be good idea to make Molly as protagonist and follow her story after she left the group and possibly left savannah, because of all the walkers which followed the train to the city?
I'd like to add, that i wish Telltale would try to make 3rd season more ambitious with determinant characters being able to survive through game, if you wish to keep them alive. This would increase the lifetime of the game, since gaming experience would be much more different every time you play through it. They could also spend some time thinking about the story and have it finished before making the game, instead of having different writers for episodes.
ps. The story felt a bit broken between 4th and 5th episode (what happened with the town with church?). Another reason to have the story ready before making game.

Starting in the 3rd season of anything is THAT persons fault. Nobody should do that, and not many people do.
Its not very wise decision, if they want to actually gain bigger audience and sell more (which is main reason games are made usually).
"buy my 3rd book. However, if you havent read my last 2 books, 3rd book will be pointless".
There's series with tons of sequels and people are still ok with it, see halo 5
Wow.
Really?
According to your example, there are indeed many books that are just like that such as Mockingjay of the Hunger games series.
And if most people could only play/read one part of a series, they would mostly start with the first part of that series anyways.
A Jane follower not making a single bit of sense. That's what you just read
Halo is pretty bad example, because people usually dont play it because of story.
Even though Halo's story is the only good thing about it.
Dat username tho. You must've had to fight to get that one.
it's not our fault that you picked the worst ending with jane and that she ruined YOUR clem.
lol pls
it takes like 15-19 hours to play both seasons through, and new players would all have to do that before starting to play new season (and actually buy both seasons). Besides, Telltale pretty much fucked up by making 5 different endings, since tying them up would be hard and time leap would just ruin everything. I dont want to see them doing Omid to Jane in new season.
typical halo player (11-16 years old kid) doesnt really care about interesting and complex stories.
Yeah, because sticking with murderer is much better choice.
Yeah, tying up the endings would be hard but that doesn't mean they're not going to do exactly that. I'm almost certain Telltale have what it takes to make them all impactful on Season 3.
Telltale already have a large enough audience to make money off of The Walking Dead for many more years... They don't need to attract any new players. Their other titles such as The Wolf Among Us do that for them, so that argument's more or less irrelevant.
Also... How would a timeskip ruin everything? If Kenny/Jane end up dead then so be it.
it's not clementine's folt it's bad writing if good writers are paid then we'll get a great story with clementine and if people who play this game then they should get the other season's before they get season 3 just because they bitch about not careing about clementine and not knowing her i'll tell them to go to hell and play the other seasons just because they are lazy we have to pay for it and if anyone feelings are hurt i'll tell them where i live so they can come to me for an apologies
Going at it alone is the best choice (in my opinion). Why forgive the insane, manipulative psycho that is Jane? She tricks you into killing a man... That's inexcusable on all accounts.
I agree. I am perfectly fine with Clementine's story being over for now. However i think they should introduce her later, as a npc.
Well i went with Jane because we are very similar. Cold, cynical, rational and objective. And i think she is best companion for Clementine, if she wants to survive.
Fair enough! :P My Clem's just as idealistic as my Lee meaning that she focuses purely on preserving her humanity, leaving pragmatism for last. I couldn't possibly join Jane with a clear conscience after what she'd done.
ohh its this guy or whatever, don't mind him he is dumb.
Rational? Jane Rational? That explains what she did, it was totally rational!
"Let's start some shit inside a truck in the middle of a snowstorm when we should be worrying about getting medical supplies for the 11 year old that just got shot with a rifle."
SO RATIONAL
Well she is rational on her own. Getting emotionally attached to Clementine made her act irrational.
In a way, everybody is a murderer LOL. She kills vitali, wants clem to leave sarah left for dead PM, and would probably leave people behind to die as shown above. If her life depended on it; she'd probably let clem and aj die.
Jane lies to your face right after tricking you into killing Kenny. Rational my pretty pink ass!
You can do all those things with Clementine as well. A new character isn't what is standing in the way of those things, its the writers.

Kenny started the shitstorm by calling Jane selfish person who doesnt care about anyone else and that she is "nothing".
Urgh... Why do people have to transform this into a full-on argument? Easier to just accept zykelator's opinion... He/she justified it reasonably therefore you don't have to go ahead and mindlessly preach your own beliefs.
He tells her to put her feet off the dash so he can thoroughly see the road, and she says that he probably cant see lots of things these days. Then he says that. Jane started the arguments
I don't think she would let Clementine die, however i think everyone else is on their own. She definitely has mental problems.
The fact the she doesnt care about random humans in zombie apocalypse doesnt mean she has mental problems...
And when Clem asked if she would leave her behind she said something like "i wouldnt have to" meaning that she knew Clementine was strong and wouldnt just give up on living.
If her life depended on it, yes she would. That's why I stick with kenny, he lost a fucking eye because of us. And, he gets really defensive when people hurt clementine. 1.Troy , 2.Arvo/mike
What argument? I made a statement, the OP said their peace, and i was done. Don't go to defcon 3, so fast Rambo.
Well, the sarcasm in your comment was unnecessary and obviously meant to initiate an irritated response.
