_may i ask why everyone hated in harms way? Was it because it sidetracked the story and made it go worse? Also
my fav was no going back. (People said amid the ruins was depressing. And then they played this!!!)
My least favourite was all that remains because it wasnt needed. No plot... Unaswered questions that we still dont know and characters underdeveloped. Also i still miss pete
I didn't like in harms way because it was boring. There pretty much nothing I could see very fun in this episode, you don't get to explore the camp which would have been great. Also none of the choices did anything. Overall I thought it was boring and a wasteof a villain

I thought it was great too, don't get me wrong! It's just that we were still getting to know the characters then, so I just enjoyed the episodes where I already knew the cast better.
I think what I liked a lot about Season 2 was the whole "trust" theme.
I was still getting to "know" the characters in Episode 4 and 5 of Season 2, comparative to Season 1's gang at the end of S1 Episode 2, and it really plays on the shorter timeframe of Season 2 (a matter of weeks) and trying to figure out these people who are all in one way or another "survivors".
With Lee, he's got months to figure out the other members of the group, and none of them have any developed skills and they're all in the same boat by not knowing what the hell to do to survive in the apocalypse - with each suffering with traumatic experience in their own ways.
For Season 2, everybody's has been a Survivor for 2 years and has their own way of staying alive and their own views on "what works" compared to the rest. Some have even had to make some real hard choices and as such, may be hardened or broken by them.
All That Remains is my favourite episode simply because it sets a really consistent pace for the entire Season, and really drops you into the role of Clementine perfectly, altered by the way you protected her in Season 1. getting bit by the dog and having to "survive", find Christa and yet avoid confrontation with a new group of survivors (whom at the time I just wanted to help me so I could leave) was a powerful act to follow throughout the rest of the Season.
No Going Back was an equally powerful episode as the regret expressed by most players is the exact same contemplation, regret and distress Clementine would be feeling immediately and continually after her decision at the end.

Best: No Going Back (Absolutely brilliant writing and surprising end, both Kenny and Jane's ending are leaving off with brilliant cliffhangers leaving you on the edge waiting for the next season)
Worst: Amid the Ruins (The writing was terrible and the death of Nick, waste of potential, and Sarah, another waste of potential and her deaths are so cringe worthy and disgusting, are so stupid)
Best: No going back (Kenny ending scarred my tear sack for life)
Worst: Its hard to say but im agreeing with kennyfanboi episode 4 was bad because sarah had potential to expand on her character and so did nick
But overall all the episodes were great but those 2 characters died and had potential to live awhile longer
But honestly the season wouldent of been as great if any of these episodes dident exist all the episodes best to worst made the season even though the worst episode had its issues all the pieces of the season were needed to make a plot even though some of the episodes storyline like episode 4 in general had some character deaths i think all were good just some lesser good then others

As i said its not bad it just had flaws im agreeing with you in a way if 1 of the seasons episodes dident happen the storyline would not have evolved like it has i said so every episode even though every episode has there tiny bits of flaws there all awesome if 1 of the episodes never happened this awesome season 2 storyline could of never happened lets be honest each episode evolved the plot and evolved and learned more about the characters overall thats my reply to you
Especially considering Season 1 happened around the length of three months (give or take?) and Season 2 happened in no more than some weeks (That including the decision of letting Rebecca rest or not).
Though, I´m sure off screen Clementine knows them better than we do. I wonder what happened in those small timeskips.
No Going back is possibly my favourite episode of both Seasons, to be honest.

All That Remains is my favourite episode si… [view original content]
I hold Season 2's dramatic experience above Season 1, but Season 1 had the emotional edge. A lot of decisions in Season 2 were far harder to make than the decisions in Season 1, and frankly, Clem has gone through far worse over those 2 weeks than Lee ever had to over the 3-4 months at the start of the apocalypse.
Frankly, some episodes were a masterpiece to me (S1E2, S1E5, S2E1, S2E3, S2E5), but the rest were all platinum rated and the experience wouldn't have been so good without them. It can be really hard to chose which ones were my favourite, and even the worst episode in my opinion (S2E4) was still expertly written and executed, serving as an amazing penultimate episode to the finale.
I totally understand what you mean.

I actually am in a minority that absolutely adores Season 2. A lot of people here nitpick at literally everything. If I´m being honest, I´ve seen complaints posted here that, when I played the episode, I didn´t even notice and didn´t concern me. Season 1 and Season 2 were both masterpieces to me and I´m sure Season 3 won´t be any different.
And 100% agreed. Clementine has gone through too much. Much more than anyone her age should have and she´s been put in positions that are heavier on her than on Lee exactly because of that. It´s amazingly done, really.
It was, it has some deaths that were lacking emotional substance but it definitely wrote a good path for the season finale.
Aye, I'm inclined to agree.

That's not the reason, the main reason is because the absolutely sloppy and terrible writing and all characters are out of character. (Example: Luke, he wants whats best for the group and he wants to keep it safe, but then literally has sex with Jane a couple of minutes after saying that)

My Best : AMID TEH RUINS
My Worst: A House dIVIDED
The Best for me is a house divided.
The worst I think is In harms way.
A House Divided? Unpopular, I'd say. Why?
I really don't hate any episode I just picked the one I remembered the less of.
The best - No Going Back.
The worst - Tough one...maybe All that remains since it was just an intro to the season.

draw in the worst one (in harm's way = Amid the ruins)
Best: No Going Back
Worst: All That Remains
Best - No going back
Worst - In harm's way
Best - All That Remains
Good, but less than the others - A House Divided
Best - A House Divided
Worst - In Harm's Way....I HATE this episode so damn much.
Almost 100 votes!
Best: No Going Back
Worst: Amid the Ruins (incredibly sloppy writing)
BEST: A House Divided
WORST: Amid The Ruins
I can't figure out why so many people didn't like In Harm's Way, would someone like to explain?
I thought it had some cool moments like Carver's death and Kenny's beat down but overall I think it could've been so much better.
A house divided is the best one by far.
Really? I thought the first one was great!
Episode 4 was weakest. it felt just like a filler to build up the the penultimate episode finale.
Best - A house divided
Worst - Amid the ruins
Still better than season 1 episode 4. That was the only episode that I've ever started to feel bored.
Best-No Going Back
Worst-All That Remains I guess. I thought it was great, but some parts made me kind of bored.
I voted Amid The Ruins for worst just because it contained the only thing that I can criticize in The Walking Dead games.
I thought it was great too, don't get me wrong! It's just that we were still getting to know the characters then, so I just enjoyed the episodes where I already knew the cast better.
I said amid the ruins because of Sarah... We're in this together

Man, what was the person who wrote episode 4 thinking?
I'm glad In Harm's Way isn't "the worst" by far.
It's kinda sad how Amid the Ruins is disliked pretty much just because of Sarah and Nick's deaths...

Really nice to hear people not complaining about stuff. This dying forum needs more folks like you two.
I don't agree with S2E3 being a masterpiece, but I respect your opinion.
well said
