Nope, It'd have made your opinion more valid. To give a detailed opinion of what you liked and disliked about both characters and why you preferred Kenny instead of trying to shoot holes in the jane choice.
Because, if I go off on a rant solely about my dislike for Jane, it makes me seem like a biased Kenny fan who believes he can do no wrong. I… more disliked Kenny at certain points in the story and felt neutral about whether or not I wanted to have my Clem stick around with him.
I pay attention to others opinions because I realize in the end, that's all the ending really is for Season 2. It's a perception of the situation and an opinion on how to handle it. And these opinions I've stated are how I've chosen to choose my ending.
The way I see facts, is that they are universally true.
Yes, Hershel didn't beat Kenny for being part of the reason Shawn died.
I disagree. Jane was trying to see how Kenny would react, she knew how he would react and told Clementine she wanted her to see him for what he was.
Yeah, Kenny did think Jane killed AJ, and so did I.
Yep, Kenny had no proof, he had what all of us had to go off of, her survivalist nature and her willingness to let anything go that doesn't have competence to further her needs. Perfect example, Sarah.
Kenny was not Carver 2.0. If he was, he would've never left Clementine and AJ at Wellington. If he was Carver 2.0, he'd have started the sick family dynamic Carver was creating.
You can say certain things happened and state them as facts, but when we talk about people's reasoning for something happening, unless they admit why they did it, we can only give our opinions.
Yes, they are facts. Fact is something that is true in an objective way (and the stuff i mentioned in my last comment is true in an objectiv… moree way). And yeah, i'm always willing to change my opinion, if i wouldn't i wouldn't be here trying to debate with other people with diferent opinions. So if you could please tell me why isn't the stuff in my last comment a fact, i would be very happy to look at your resply.
LOL this is litterly happening everyday
if you make a kenny thread, you attract jane fans to disagree with you
if you make a jane thread, you attract kenny fans to disagree with you
Because that's your opinion. You don't need me to validate or invalidate it if you're so sure your right, whatever I say won't change just generate more 'debate'.
Nope, It'd have made your opinion more valid. To give a detailed opinion of what you liked and disliked about both characters and why you preferred Kenny instead of trying to shoot holes in the jane choice.
I agree with your reason to disagree with me about Jane trying to show Clementine how Kenny was, the point is that (in my opinion) she was right, Kenny was a danger to Jane, Clementine and AJ.
By the way, Carver was doing all those stuff (he says it, so it's a fact) to protect his son. That's pretty similar to Kenny. And he was starting that dynamic, he wanted to be the boss of everybody else, wanted nobody to think diferrent to him. This is a fact, it's prooven when he gets mad because he is the only one wanting to go to Wellington, and refuses to reason with the rest of the group and instead locks himself inside the truck.
In my opinion, he was not Carver-like YET, he had just started becoming like Carver.

Clem was there when he and Jane got into the fight. Using the reasoning that people would be around to see him beat down on somebody is true, but I'm saying it still remains that Kenny never hurt Clementine physically over Sarita's death if we killed her in front of him.
He did not physically harm her because they weren't alone and Clementine did something rational , Kenny back then wasn't thinking straight, his love of his life died by walkers and Kenny wanted someone to put the blame on someone.
I'd rather have these threads than meme threads or some other shit. Stop asking why there's alot of these threads, this is what they left us with. so STFU.
Then you've read my side of the debate and disagree with it. And I've read your side of the debate and disagree with it, it's nothing personal just how we perceive the situation that was before us. You've shown we can have common ground without things getting ... uncivilized. I say that if we argued this anymore it would get us nowhere, like most of the Jane v. Kenny threads usually do.
Thank you for being kind enough to not insult my opinions.

Kenny himself admitted that he was in a dark place when he killed Jane and said he couldn't control himself.
He wouldn't intentionally hurt Clementine, but I know for sure he would put Clementine in danger, or even hurt Clementine if he ever goes to that dark place.
If you side with Jane, you just really value actions more than words. That's the way I see it.
but considering we just killed his lover ---> Please tell me how in the world did Clementine kill Sarita by killing the zombie instead of chopping her hand off?
That's another sign of abuse! If they fully accuse you of something that you were NOT even close to being at fault, and you accept the blame, then you're probably dealing with an abusive person!
Killing Sarita is determinant, of course. When we chop off her arm, even if we're trying to help, we have to chop her before she turns. In her face. This is what happened in my play through, and I realize not everyone got it. And to be honest, this was the only scene where I imagined Kenny losing his shit on Clem, but he never physically harmed her.
And yes, when Kenny blames us for it either way it pissed me off, it wasn't justified IMO when he gets angry at us for axing the zombie. So, no, Clem is not responsible when we axe the zombie in the head, and his anger here was completely unjustified.

I can see season 3 threads now:
This character was the best.
What a B!*%
Theories on how the season will go?
I hate all of these new characters.
I love all of these new characters.
Am I the only one who...?
Literally, the thing that saved Clementine there was time. Separating Kenny and Clementine was probably the best thing because it allowed Kenny to breathe.. to gather his thoughts.
Even Sarita acknowledged he was becoming unhinged. I know there's a lot the game didn't show, but you can easily predict behavioral pattern by thoroughly analyzing the situation.
I mean, look at Lee. Lilly straight up murdered Carly right in front of his face, and how come he didn't flip the fuck out? Because he himself experienced a momentary lapse of judgement. I'm sure Lee never intended to hurt or kill the man who slept with his wife, but he let his anger get a hold of him, and it destroyed his family.
True. True. And Meh. But I accept your opinion.

So ... I guess I'm abusive, and so is everyone I know, because everyone I've ever known have blamed me for something I didn't do and accepted it. And I blamed someone for something they didn't do and they accepted it. When you're that mad, anyone who comes close to you even if you love them are subject to being something that is about to receive the full force of that anger. It's not right, and it's not rational, but it happens.
Seriously, I'm not denying Kenny is dangerous, I saw the signs, I realize he was becoming unstable. But given my choices, I still side with Kenny.

I know but the way you state it makes it seem like there was no possible way he could ever hurt them because it wouldn't necessarily be intentional. My point was that they could still get hurt because Kenny can't always control himself.
Well, duh. Kenny was a dangerous man, and we didn't need Jane to provoke him the way she did to illicit this sort of response out of him.
… more I admit, Kenny is dangerous
I stated twice I do believe Kenny is dangerous. I still don't think Kenny would ever hurt Clem or AJ intentionally.
I'd rather have these threads than meme threads or some other shit. Stop asking why there's alot of these threads, this is what they left us with. so STFU.

Comments
Yeah. They should just make one huge thread for all the rants. This is getting ridiculous.
Ummmm.... No.
Awesome
The THREAD to rule THEM ALL.
And yeah I agree, IDK why I'm still arguing with those people I must be bored.

Maybe if we talk about it all so much, we'll all get sick of it and it will go away.
Until Season 3. Then we will have a new hate war.

Funny. Clementine is wearing a stolen sweater in the 4th picture
TellTale created the forums to watch fans get into hate wars.

MY CLEM DID THIS AND HERE'S WHY YOU SHOULD TOO
Unfortunately I believe Hail Kenny threads will never go away... so lets just have fun with them.

It happens way too often with Kenny to keep him around.
I feel your pain.
