I believe everyone is somewhat good. I have forgiven everyone for any actions they had committed. Bad things happen to everyone, and it's hard to keep being yourself after they happen. It really does show that most actions people believe are "bad" have logic behind them. But it doesn't make them right, it doesn't absolve them of their crimes, all we can do is decide whether or not that makes them bad people.
I'm sorry... but that's when they talk about Duck.
Anyway, everyone gets his or her own interpretation. When I see the dream, I just think it relates to almost every shit Clem came across. Just before the dream, she was betrayed those who seemed to be most reliable, and shot by a boy whom she may having been defending all the way. Just after the dream, the last two adults in the world who she cares for and care for her start the fighting...
I think it also reflects that Clem's mind is trying to get it through about why these shits happen and what she should do about them. She tries to keep the group together. She tries so hard. But it just doesn't work. This gets heavy burden on her mind. The dream is a break, for getting ready to face next harder class.

The capacity for a person to do something like that proves that the man is highly unstable and a detrimental step in the equation to the survival of Clementine and everyone else in the group.
There is this very humane thing called revenge. Especially very, very justified revenge.
Also there is this very bad thing called piece of shit. That was Carver was.
And no matter the intent of Clementine, Kenny should've grown up and not enacted in his little murder fantasy
Actually, he contains himself in Clem choses to watch. Not enougth, but he contains himself. Compare how he looks in you don´t stay and watch-all the blood- to how he looks if you watch. Also, compare the sounds that came for inside when you are waiting for the others for Kenny to finish. He is clearly more brutal if you don´t watch.
And no matter how many times someone says they love you, actions speak louder than words.
I agree. So let’s look at his actions.
He trusted completed strangers on Clementine´s word.
He puts himself above her.
He took a beating for her.
He is willing to condem himself to death to get Edith to accept Clem in to Wellington.
The capacity for a person to do something like that proves that the man is highly unstable and a detrimental step in the equation to the sur… morevival of Clementine and everyone else in the group.
I also find it weird people can turn a blind eye so quickly to that scene, a scene in which a young girl can choose to stand by and watch and man viciously disfigure and murder another man for personal gain. And no matter the intent of Clementine, Kenny should've grown up and not enacted in his little murder fantasy especially if someone Kenny claims to love and cherish was there five feet away.
So my answer is Kenny is not a "good man." He is, however, a piece of shit. Bound by his bloodlust, and no matter how many times someone says they love you, actions speak louder than words.
You never addressed my main concern, you appear to be beating around the bush. I said that anyone who truly cared for someone else would not rearrange another defenseless man's face in front of that person. What Kenny showed was a complete lack of care and compassion for Clementine, mentally scarring an eleven year old girl is not ok. He should've grown some balls and understood that the situation did not call for him to play badass and enact in his own little self indulgent macho bullshit power fantasy. The selfish turd.
And what's it prove? That Kenny can kill someone? Good for him, cause I learned everything I needed about him within those two and a half minutes it took him to do that shit. It all comes back to Kenny being a coward; shooting a man twice and then when it was safe for him, he starts playing golf with Carver's face.
Doesn't he look remorseful? No, he seems proud. What a big man.

I believe he is. Sure, he has done some things which are pretty questionable, but, overall he is a good guy.
He is the best character written in the series, apart from Lee and Clem. He is a complicated, stubborn, and loveable guy. Flaws make a character human and we can all relate in some way. Everyone is good in some way, even Carver.

You are the only one beating around the bust here, dude. You are saying that killed Carver in such a brutal way means he does not care about Clem, and I say that if she stays to watch he does contain himself, he contains himself very much, simple because she was here despite he had loss his eye to Carver just a day before, and that taking revenge is very humane. And I say that there is plenty of evidence to say he cares about Clem, yet you go back to the Carver issue. I agree that he should just have shoot Carver in the face if she stayed to watch, but it does not mean he does not care about her. He got carried away for a very, very justified revenge, but he shows restrain if she chooses to watch. That shows he cares, even when he is a rage.
Also:
He trusted completed strangers on Clementine´s word.

That was because you say Kenny was a bad person.
He should've grown some balls and understood that the situation did not call for him to play badass and enact in his own little self-indulgent macho bullshit power fantasy. The selfish turd. If you really misunderstood his motives and the scene so much, then nothing I say will change it, but I will answer you anyway. Kenny was not playing ‘badass’ he was not ‘enacting his own little self-indulgent macho bullshit power fantasy’, he was taking revenge. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a brutal beating for a brutal beating.
You did not learn anything for that scene, just what the hell you wanted.
Doesn't he look remorseful? No, he seems proud. What a big man.
Did I say he looked remorseful, dude? Nope. I am saying he contained himself and he did. And lastly, he is not proud. He is angered.

I said I did learn from that scene. I learned what kind of person Kenny was. Dude, it's like I say something and you deliberately ignore it.
Good for him, cause I learned everything I needed about him within those two and a half minutes it took him to do that shit
I learned he is reckless, temperamental, and a nascence to our group. By the way, the "eye for an eye" argument only works if it levels the playing field. Technically Carver was giving the "eye for an eye." Kenny killed (and possibly injured Carver) so he gave Kenny a really bad beatdown. But Carver allowed him to live, so really it was less justified in Kenny's position to redecorate Carver's face after he shot him twice.
You never addressed my main concern, you appear to be beating around the bush.

I think @CrazyGeorge knows what he's talking about. Actually, I always think that about him. high fives
I been living with PTSD since the war. It took me years to figure out how to deal with it. Changes who you are, inside, before i went in i was a different person, then i came back a stranger. Ruined relationships, friendships, to the point where i just wanted to be left alone. For a long time. You learn how to deal with it.
Kenny, like pretty much every character in the Walking Dead, is morally grey. He isn't good or bad. He's a human, and that's all that matters in a world like that.
I know, I've seen your posts around here and I believe you know what it feels like more than most people (if not everyone) on here what it feels like to deal with that level of stress and emotional intensity. I'm sorry it's something you've struggled with, and I meant no offense with my comment just in case I came off that way.

Kenny is flawed. Kenny has issues. Kenny's had a raw deal thrown his way but once he rose up from the loss of Katjaa and Duck he's fought hard in spite of all of his pain to protect whatever group he's been involved with. Yes he's hard, in his mind he sees his dead and vows to never again let anyone play them. it's not a good thing but in this world it's at least honest and for the group.
Sorta depends on if your with him or against him. Against him, he's an asshole who doesn't listen to anything Lee (or anybody really) says, and if your with him he's your best friend.

Chuck, Omid, Christa, Uncle Pete, Walter and Matthew were good people. I miss all also.

Kenny is a flawed man who has suffered alot. He is not paragon or renegade so to speak. But his character was never meant to be.

If you could actually tell me why, I'd appreciate that, I might change my mind if you tell me where I'm wrong and why.
Deep down, he is a good man. He would never become someone as selfish as Carver.
